We did our search before hiring this company. However, we didnt do enough. We should have looked at all the bad yelp reviews. We decided to go with Superior because they were fairly priced and the staff felt kind, knowledgeable, and thoughtful. However, as the job progressed, things got bad. Constant delays, fake promises, and the owners hit you with change orders after change order after change order. I understand change orders, believe me. But if you asked one of their workers to take a bag of trash to their truck and one of the owners heard you, I bet they would try to charge you with a change order. Their workers were great, don't get me wrong. They were just following orders. Their workers were great. That is the one thing I can say. Polite, hard workers and very professional. We went through 2 superintendents which we did not understand. The first one Logan was likeable and knowledgeable. However, he could have checked in more. The second superintendent we got was wonderful. Casey was knowledgeable and checked on the work in our home almost everyday. He'd always check in and see if we had any questions or concerns. Also, their tech Zakariah was amazing as well. So friendly and such a skilled professional. He could do anything and he did. We were told Casey was let go and Zakariah also. My wife and I felt so awful when we heard this news. Those two guys made sure our kitchen turned out as gold as it did despite our horrible experience with the office/owners. After looking through other reviews, we've read that it's a common theme for this company to let their workers go. It's also a common theme for outrageous change orders. Project started out great, but when things went wrong it was like pulling teeth to get them fixed properly. We made decisions based on project manager's suggestions, then were told it was our decision, our problem We still have outstanding repairs needed, and the owners begrudgingly agreeded to pay for them, but I don't want to have to deal with them in order to get them repaired. Great company! The minute that Tom walked into the house and started telling me what could be changed, I fell in love with this company! The entire process of completely gutting the kitchen and starting over took about 1.5 months. All of their contractors were kind, friendly and very knowledgeable. The estimated project timeline was for 2 months, but lasted 4 months. Overall, we were very happy with SK&B starting with owner Tom who had creative ideas and spent significant one on one time with us developing our plan/contract. Lisa, the project manager did an amazing job to keep the work on target (as much as could be expected due to unforeseen issues) and was very knowledgeable in answering questions and offering advice when asked. Superior did our kitchen/downstairs remodel eight years ago so choosing them to do our bathrooms was an easy choice for us. We had the utmost confidence in their workmanship. I've seen some reviews on here that question their integrity but this is not the experiences we have had. A few things you need to understand before you begin a remodel, and this will apply to ANY company you hire. At some point in the process, something will go wrong, not work exactly the way you thought. Be patient and communicate with the GC, not the subcontractors. We found Superior very willing to address our issues throughout the process- and we can be very picky! Be on top of the process and catch small things before they are complete. Subcontractors may try to take short cuts. If you see it, let your GC know right away. Tom and his team have always addressed our concerns immediately upon notifying them. Know your budget from the beginning, and when you get a quote, know exactly what it includes. If you pick a more expensive piece of granite, or higher level tile, it will probably go over your quote. Be prepared and don't blame the GC if that happens. It's your choice. Have a contingency fund for change orders. I guarantee that you will change something once you've started that will cost a little more, It will take longer than you expect. The remodel process can be stressful and frustrating trying to live in a home that will appear like a war zone at times. Relax and focus on the end result. Bottom line is that these guys for us put together a beautiful design for all three bathrooms. Over the past ten years they have basically built us a new house, and we couldn't be happier. I'm sure Renee will reply and dispute my account. But consider that I have no incentive to lie about this other than give other people looking for contractors better information that may potentially save them the stress we had. And compared to other negative reviews, you'll see similar types of problems. SKB did our kitchen remodel 3 years ago, now. I've had a lot of time to calm down. The work was scheduled for 8 weeks and ended up taking just over 19 weeks. They're supposed to be a design & build contractor, but the only drawing they did was of the cabinet and appliances placement. From our perspective, it doesn't look like they have much experience working with permits and plans. So *maybe* SKB can do your renovation with little trouble if all it involves is updating cabinets and appliances with no structural work whatsoever. If your reno requires anything cut open, and especially a permit, go with someone else. 1. We told them everything we wanted done, and they thought no plans/drawings needed to be submitted to the city for the over-the-counter permit we'd need. They were wrong. The project was delayed as we obtained necessary drawings to reflect some work already done. 2. Their crew attached ceiling joists in a manner not approved by their own engineer (revealed when we had to get engineer approval of aforementioned drawings). They had to redo it and made us pay for the redo. Then the fixed ties weren't even all attached the way they were supposed to. 3. They bought a window with the wrong opening side (as dictated by building code, and also with our drawings showing the correct side) and tried to make us pay for the additional cost of getting the right window. 4. They reused insulation pulled out from the wall, and did such a poor job of re-insulating (left holes in many places) that we bought some ourselves and fixed up the insulation before they closed the wall up. 5. They thought they could talk the building inspector out of requiring an electrical outlet instead of planning for the outlet in the first place. They couldn't, so project was delayed to add an outlet where one wasn't planned. 6. The refrigerator alcove was too narrow. We measured it and it's smaller than even their drawing specified. Of course, their supervisor tried to tell us it's wider than it is by measuring the width at a diagonal since one side of the alcove is shorter than the other. 7. They scratched up the side of our fridge trying to slide it in the too-narrow alcove. Fortunately for them, that fridge was apparently slightly wider than spec, so they somehow managed to get the manufacturer to send a replacement, that *barely* fit into the alcove AFTER they had to shave off 1/4" off the drywall on the wall-side of the alcove and removed a narrow ~1/8" lip on the cabinet side of alcove. We opted to hire an appliance mover to move the fridge in to avoid having SKB scratch up another fridge. 8. They and their electrician either didn't know about arc fault protection that needs to be added to the electrical panel, or tried to get away without doing it (bad either way). Of course the project got delayed when the inspector requested that be corrected. By this point we were tired of their delays and opted to hire our own electrician and in the process give up any warranty they have on their electrical work. We weren't going to let them come back and touch anything in our house anyway. 9. They thought a pocket door with visible gaps around it is perfectly installed. And their finishing work is overall shoddy. 10. They demo-ed our doorbell transformer. Didn't even tell us. 11. Their tile estimate is ridiculously low given fixed costs and range of tile prices that they should be aware of. It's probably to make their initial bid lower to draw people in. Not to mention the final cost includes cost to prep and float the floor, which we did not see happening. 12. Because the backsplash had to be redone, we ended up with backsplash that's not flush throughout. In some places, the top layer of tiles is angled and not level. Of their subcontractors, the only one who didn't cause issues were the drywall / painter guys. - Cabinet: overall good quality, but.. given that their measurement was off... - Stone & tiles: not too bad, but they had to redo the backsplash, because they initially put the wrong pattern despite the pattern we requested being on the invoice. And the floor is not perfectly flat, with some tiles sticking up in some places. - Electrical: See above for problems with electrical. - Plumbing: Left a bath tub faucet on and left the house. We probably had that open full blast for hours until we came home from work. They also changed our on-site supervisor midway through the project. The first one actually tried to prepare us about things that are coming up. The second one didn't seem to do anything and even yelled at me for trying to show him the fridge alcove is narrower than it's supposed to. read more

It has taken me a while to write a review as I'm still very upset with how our bathroom remodel came out and the lack of workmanship. There is a list of issues that were not resolved and I have a bathroom that looks like an armature remodeled it. I will now have to spend money with another contractor if I want things to finished and done properly. Pocket door was installed badly, redone and still doesn't work properly and looks like crap, sheet rock work was done very poorly, you can see seams and nails, very uneven and poorly done in many places, paint on pocket door is lumpy and badly done - had it redone just as bad, cracks in the grout of the tile in the shower, counter tops in bathroom and laundry room had to be reinstalled and are still uneven, toilet was installed badly and still runs. We had a very long punch list and had to ask them to come back to review it with us, Project Manager would not address our issues and made excuses for poor workmanship. Job took 2 months longer than quoted. I paid a lot of money for my dream bathroom that looks like a nightmare. I believe in there eyes we weren't a high end customer so we didn't get good customer service. Always get at least 3 quotes and go with your intuition. I had a bad feeling when we originally reviewed the plans with the owner, I felt we were railroaded into hiring them. I can see by other reviews that some had great experiences and others experienced the same as I did. In reading responses from Superior, they obviously are more interested in defending themselves than showing good customer service and trying to rectify the complaints received. We tried several times to work with them and to get things fixed properly. The owner came out to look at the pocket door but didn't think they could do anymore to fix it and didn't offer a solution or compensation. I'll try to add pictures soon. read more

I must say that our remodel was overall quite successful. We expanded and upgraded our kitchen with an island, converted two small bedrooms into a master suite with a walk-in closet, painted, and did wood flooring throughout. It is wonderful to live in what really is a new home! We consulted a variety of remodelers before choosing Tom and team! What we liked about Tom was his ability to envision what we wanted and ability to make it work. We had some hiccups along the way, but the attitude from Superior was always of trying to make things right. I am not a veteran of more than this one remodel, but based on some stories I have heard, I know we chose well. Check out a variety of remodelers and compare their approaches. I want to be as specific as possible if someone is checking reviews and wants to know exactly what to expect over just seeing how many stars a company gets. I read the reviews that pertained to remodels of bathrooms and was surprised that a couple had bad experiences. So sorry that happened. That was not the case for us. We had Tom come out and look at our small narrow very outdated bathroom. We had no idea what we wanted to do; just that we wanted to redo it. Tom had an idea to take out the tub, move over the toilet and put in a large walk in shower. They made us a counter that was much higher and much more comfortable for my husband who is over 6 feet and myself at 5'8" to use. Oh, but there are so many more choices to keep making! I can understand how the lady felt who needed guidance on design. Our experience was awesome in this regard. Tom sent us to Molly to pick out titles and fine tune the shower. Her face fell when we told her we had no idea what we wanted. But only for a second. She spent 2 hours with us seeing what we DIDN'T like, then slowly from that, putting together things we liked. She was so knowledgeable and creative. Natural river rock for the floor and going up in a strip on one wall. Beautiful tile to compliment the rock and then a great floor tile to pull it all together. She gave us 3 different paint color ideas with the exact names of the paint. She suggested a shower bar so it could be adjusted, which has turned out great. Everyone who came out were professional and caring; covering up with plastic to keep dust down, cleaning up each day to keep the mess down. As it was coming together Paul was out often to over see things and make sure every detail was followed though. There was a scratch on the hall wall and they matched the red paint and repainted the whole wall. Every detail was taken care of. Each week you are sent a weekly calendar for the following week to know just what to expect. If anything changes you are called. I went long. Sorry. But I just can't say enough about Superior K&B. We have had a few remodels done and have never had a horrible experience; but have never had a company that works with us like they did or that are so detailed oriented and organized. We hired Superior for a total remodel of our kitchen.  The bidding came down to two companies, both with very good online reviews, and Superior offered a lower price so we went with them. Here's my wife's one-paragraph summary of our experience:  Very disappointed with many aspects of this company:  our 8-week project took over 5 months; over $9,000 over budget due to numerous change orders and miscalculations; we had two on-site supervisors (one was fired, one quit); and the quality of work was often unsatisfactory and had to be redone on numerous occasions. Hoping our issues will keep you from using this company and making the same mistakes.    If you want all the gory details (which may help your remodel go smoother regardless of who you use), read on: We're trying to post a fair review, so let's start with the positives:   + Generally their folks are very friendly. + Oh, and they pointed us toward a better choice for our range.  Those are the only two positives we can think of. Now to the Negatives - Even though the people are friendly, they seem very incompetent and lack knowledge of local building codes. - They promised our job would be done in 8 weeks.  It ended up taking over 5 months.  (They give you a weekly calendar of who's coming when, but we learned that was meaningless and people would be showing up on any day at any time.  We had one countertop person show up at 6:30 in the evening.) - They fired our on-site supervisor one-third of the way through the job, which made it very convenient for the new supervisor to blame all the problems on the old supervisor.  Then the new supervisor quit the company a month before the job was finished, making us the de facto on-site supervisors for the remainder of the job. - We wanted to move an 8-foot wall one foot into the living room.  When we signed the contract, they said the price included what should be necessary for that part of the job. Half-way into the job, they told us it was going to cost an additional $7K!  (Partly because new footings were needed under the house.  They could have easily crawled under the house to check the old footings before we signed the contract, but apparently they prefer low-balling and making it up in change orders later.) - Another example of low-balling and lack of knowledge about local building codes is that it wasn't until the middle of the job that they told us venting the range would be an additional $2,000 because the old vent was too close to a window.  That vent was in plain sight from the beginning, so that should not have been a mid-job surprise!  The only way to avoid the extra $2K was to buy an over-range microwave that had a recirculating vent built in.  So in the middle of our vacation we had to research microwaves and order one that did not match the rest of our appliances. - Also in mid-vacation, they notified us that our quartz countertop would need to have a seam in it, even though the dimensions of the counter had been known when the contract was signed months earlier.  The finish on the seam was a four-inch band of glossiness that made it the first thing you noticed in the kitchen.  This seam had to be reworked three more times before it's appearance was minimized. - Another mid-job surprise was that to pass inspection we would need to replace all of the smoke alarms throughout our house (some of which were almost new), adding hundreds more dollars to the job. - Even though we gave them all the appliance and fixture model numbers up front, they installed a shelf behind the sink that prevented the faucet from being completely turned off.  This meant we had to mount the faucet sideways. - They asked to do the punch walk before the appliances were even installed!  As it was, once we did the walk the list was two pages long - doing it as early as they wanted would have made it at least 3 pages!  Even with only two pages, it still took them 8 weeks to complete the punch list, and another 3 weeks to remove the lockbox. - In one part of the kitchen, the backsplash had to be installed three times, and it's still not great. -They replaced the shelves in a small built-in we have with new ones that are very off-square. - Our tile rep told us that Superior includes only enough in their counter and tile allowances for the very cheapest in materials, so we went way over buget here. Then, toward the end of the job, out of the blue Superior decided a wooden transition strip between the kitchen and dining room floors was suddenly part of the tile allowance.  Since we were already over our on our tile allowance, that was an extra $400.  - Both supervisors had told us that after inspection they would replace the dishwasher air-gap with a soap dispenser we bought, but after one supervisor was fired and one quit, Superior would not back up that promise and we had to pay someone else to do it. So our bottom line is that we strongly suggest you look elsewhere for any remodeling! read more

It's been about 4 years now since our remodel with SKB, clearly this review is overdue but the frustration of how poorly we were treating by this company is still very real. I won't go into all of the details but be warned these people are incompetent and so disrespectful and rude. We are extremely disappointed that we hired Superior Kitchen to remodel our kitchen and bath. The poor workmanship was bad enough and to Superior's credit they did agree to fix the 31 items on the punch list. However, even if all of those things were fixed we would end up with a kitchen remodel that we neither wanted nor asked for. The following problems were not on the punch list: First, the countertops ended up at 37", not the standard 36". The excuse for this was that the cabinets were "custom." We never asked for or agreed to countertops higher than 36." Superior Kitchen made a huge mistake and will not admit it. If we had wanted "custom" cabinets, then why were the electrical receptacles placed at the standard height? Also, why are the slide-in range legs cranked up all the way and the top still does not reach the height of the countertops. The height of the upper cabinets above the kitchen countertop of 19" is also not standard. 17 - 18" is standard, but it can be whatever the homeowner prefers. There is no California Building Code mandating a minimum height, except over a cooktop. We have a range hood that is plenty high enough, so that doesn't apply here. Your saying that you have to install them to code is incorrect, and an excuse for not asking us what height we preferred. Since we first informed Superior Kitchen of our decision to cancel the contract, we hired a licensed plumber to install a new garbage disposer, because we thought the one we had you install was defective. Actually, the dishwasher knockout was jamming the disposer. He fixed it, but we asked him to install a new disposer. That would have required tearing out all of the under sink drain plumbing. He said it was not done by a licensed plumber, was not done to code, and would soon cause drainage problems. We will have that done when we have the kitchen redone. We had selected PentalQuartz Akoya for our quartz countertops in both the kitchen and bath and were told by Superior that our $2000 allowance would cover 2 slabs with $103.60 to spare. Instead, what was installed is a very different looking Chinese pre-fab knock off. Apparently Superior Kitchen thought we wouldn't notice their substitution of an inferior product. The pre-fabs come in 8-foot lengths, so a poorly executed seam was put in. Had they used slabs as we were told, there would not have been a seam required. The tile job in the shower was terrible. We had chosen a large tile so that we wouldn't end up with a lot of grout lines. The tile was cut into too many pieces, many with patterns not aligned. The base of the cubby hole slopes in, so it doesn't drain (or drains back into the wall). And the grout is cracking and likely leaking. We can't use it for showering. All of the tile will have to be replaced. We could not stay here during the renovation, so we were promised weekly photos of the progress. We only received 2 photos - one too blurry to show anything. When we returned our condo was absolutely filthy and our kitchen floors were damaged because they removed the Ram Board protection long before they were finished. We were devastated at everything that was wrong or poorly done. We would never recommend Superior Kitchen & Bath to anyone. We were conned out of $55,000. And they are very good at producing excuses. Lisa was very knowledgeable and helpful. She always responded to our calls and took care of our concerns. The tile men were absolutely the best. We couldn't be happier with their work. The cabinet maker made beautiful cabinets to meet our needs. Built in laundry hamper and a narrow pull out section with four shelves for all the items that would go into a medicine cabinet. One on each side of the cabinets. We are ecstatic at how beautiful our bathrooms turned out. Our family and friends were very impressed with the new bathrooms. We would use Superior Kitchen and Bath for future projects and definitely recommend them to family and friends. read more

They are the best... period. You could probably pay more but you will not be able to find better. We recently finished a remodel of our kitchen, dining room, wet bar and living room, and we are very happy. I can honestly say that the end product was far better than I could have imagined. Little things like trim under and above the cabinets, the best European soft close hinges, and the list goes on. There were probably many areas that they could have "gotten by" with cheaper hardware or material but I feel that we always got the best. There workers showed up on time, knew what they were doing, and were true craftsmen. They even spotted an error in one of the cabinet door that I had not noticed and reordered the door before they showed me the error. Their bid was not the cheapest or the highest, but I feel it was a fair price, and there were no "add on's." There were change orders based on things we found in the walls (needed to move a pipe), but they were reasonable and there were no surprises. And they were very careful, even if it cost them a little extra. I wanted to re-purpose the old kitchen cabinets in the garage and rather than just knock them off the wall (normal demo), they were careful not to damage the old cabinets. Clearly, it cost them more time but they were concerned with our wishes. There were minor mistakes, but everything was fixed without a hassle. A door was hung when we had a dry spell, and when it rained the door was hard to open and close... they came back and fixed it as soon as we let them know. As Tom the owner said, "We stand behind our work and fix any problems forever." I know that "forever" is a long time, but I think he was saying that they are not going to take your money and forget you. We spent over $100K, finished in two months, and could not be happier with the results. I know that there is another review that was very negative about Superior, and I was concerned about that and asked Tom about it. He was a gentleman and said that they tried to make her happy, and he hoped they did, but...??? My five star rating pretty much says it all... My complements to Rick and Eric and Billy and all the other craftsmen that did such a quality job. It is rare these days to find true artisans of the building trades and Superior has some of the best. I could go on about micro adjustments to molding to make it fit perfectly, or electricians that are beyond smart, but I am going to enjoy my new kitchen and make diner. We had Superior install new countertops in our kitchen. The performed the demo within a couple of hours. The team was very good to protect our newly painted cabinets and everything else in our house. They also cleaned up everything to make it seem like they were barely there. After a 10days they installed our new counter tops with the same professionalism. I hate leaving bad reviews and have waited until my bathroom remodel was completed by another company to address the issue I had with Tom at Superior. I signed up after a very convincing sales pitch by Tom. There never were any plans, just a rough sketch and I was given a notebook with places where I could go to purchase the appliances at my cost. Nothing in the remodel was to be moved round just new appliances, flooring and paint. I figured with all of the purchases I had to make plus what they were asking it would cost me somewhere around $60,000. I gave them down payment of $10,000. I needed help with selecting appliances and putting this all together, as this was my first remodel but they did not have a designer to help me. I cancelled when Tom came out with the electrician and plumber to size up the job on a Friday he told me that I could not have a make up station and then he started back peddling on the paint job even though it was in our contract. They wanted to demo the following Monday but I did not feel comfortable at all and followed my instincts and cancelled that afternoon. They refunded my down payment except for $1,000 supposedly for their time. Their first visit and estimate is supposed to be free. He made one visit 15 minutes from the office and took my $1,000? Who does that? A crook and a sore loser! I wish I knew how to put photos on here of my new bathroom For the same price I have beautiful flooring, an entire huge shower wall of beautiful polished granite with modern fixtures. A gorgeous tub, a new huge window above the tub to look over the mountains, custom lighting for the vanity, shower and make up station, custom ramp sinks, beautiful new paint, toilet with bidet, with more granite around the tub, the vanity, top of the pony wall, and the make up station. I am probably missing something, but it is gorgeous. The contractor that did my remodel took me to various places to select items and had me meet a designer friend for free advice. He was kind, honest, very professional and together we created a master bathroom that looks like it belongs in a multi-million dollar estate. It was the best move I could have made. Now we are planning the remodel of my kitchen. So Tom, stealing my $1,000 is your karma. Good luck! Responding to their message. In early Fall of last year I decided I wanted to do a full renovation of my 1961 hall bathroom. I attended a home show at the Del Mar Fair Grounds and came upon Superior Kitchen & Bath. The owner came to my home and we discussed the project. He left to go put together a professional 3-diminsional presentation reflecting the criteria we discussed. After we met to review his proposal, I informed him that the time-frame in which the project could be completed, was as importation as the project plan. I had 12 people coming to stay for the Thanksgiving holiday and this new bathroom had to be done by that date. Tom consulted with his scheduler, and committed to have it done in time. I then had the good fortune to be assigned to Doug, the project manager, who did everything in his power to see my project through, meeting my expectations and before my company arrived. His attentiveness, ability to effectively work with the sub-contractors involved and knowledge of construction made my experience with Superior Kitchen and Bath an excellent one. If I could give a "0" rating, I would. We hired Superior Kitchen and Bath to remodel our kitchen, powder bath, secondary bath, master bath, and replace flooring in master bedroom. they did initial demo in April 2019 and didn't finish job until mid-January 2020. there are still quality issues. during our job, they went through 3 crew bosses and multiple workers with many mistakes and re-dos. SKB appeared to be ignorant of relevant CA building code: Project Manager told us we didn't need air gap for kitchen sink though was (still is?) CA law; she also insisted that we had mold where old carpeting had been in master bedroom yet apparently was ignorant of CA regs re suspected mold because SKB failed to seal off area and didn't know about requirement to get professional testing for mold before concluding mold was present. Instead, they just insisted we had mold and that they needed to either treat the subfloor for mold or charge us $3,000 for a new subfloor. we kept telling them it was only old carpet padding that had been ground into the floor and referred them to CA guidelines online. After reading them, they finally agreed we were right. but very concerning that they apparently were previously unaware of guidelines. Also, PM measured for new master shower; she mis-measured so there wasn't enough wall space to put light switch in that room - had to move it to other side of wall and SKB tried to charge us $150 change order to move it even though it was due to their mistake. Kitchen and bath cabinets in my opinion are of poor quality - had to be completely refinished (boxes and all doors/drawers) at our insistence after multiple attempts to spot-fix failed. still look poor and started chipping immediately. SKB also stopped work on our house completely for 4 weeks for no reason. There's a lot more I could say - none of it positive. It was a nightmare working with them. read more

very disappointment in customer service and integrity of owner Tom and office staff. We had our Master bath remodeled about a year ago by Superior kitchen and Bath. The reason I am now putting a review up is, we had felt to burned and used up by superior I need some time to think. After speaking to other people about their remodels and their experience, I realized that my feeling where totally justified. And I think people should know the real deal. In the Beginning we talked about exactly what we wanted and needed and price. As the project went on they tried to nickel and dime you for everything that we had already talked about and where included in our original price. They have an excuses for everything and why it 's different now. We believe integrity and honesty are very important . Superior showed us how unimportant their word and trust actually meant. Lisa the office manager was always rude and unhelpful . They would tell us one thing at the beginning of project and then come back with something completely different later on. We had to fight with them on everything. We had bought a counter top that was a double slab and I had talked to Lisa about this slab multiple times and how we would have extra for another project or some details in shower. When only half the counter top showed up I called and asked about our other half. She instead they couldn't bring it out and if they did it would cost an extra $300.00. They had never mention that the multiple time we talked about this slab that I paid extra for. This is just one example of many where they don't tell you the whole truth and try to get extra money for everything over and over. They acted surprised when I had all my nobs and towel rods ready for them to hang. As if you don't have them at exact time they want to put up, they want to charge you to come out and put on. In my option they have very bad customer service and don't care about clients at all. The actual quality of work is good. But I would never trust the owner or the office staff again. All I can say is we have learned a lot about what to do and what to look for when we look for a new company to remodel are other baths and kitchen. Very sad and disappointing experience. We had our kitchen remodeled first and liked Superior so much, decided to have them remodel our master bath as well. Tom, the owner, listened to our ideas and created a beautiful design. Lisa, the Project Manager, helped us from that point with every single detail. Their entire team was so professional and wonderful to work with. My husband and I could not be happier with the results. Remodeling is an overwhelming and scary thing to do, but with Superior's guidance and experience, you can rest easy and will absolutely love the work that they do. read more

Superior remodeled our bathroom, took out our old tub and replaced it with a beautiful walk in shower with glass doors which made our bathroom look much larger. Every person who came over to do their specialty was very personable and did great jobs. Absolutely love the job they did and would highly recommend them to anyone. read more

Superior Kitchen and Bath did a great job remodeling our kitchen. Tom visited the house, listened to our ideas, and came up with a beautiful design. He also suggested some new ideas that worked out really well. Rachel, the design consultant, was a great help to us in picking out backsplashes, counters, etc. Lisa the Project Manager was always available to answer questions. The construction team was organized, helpful, and efficient. They gave us schedules in advance and always let us know what was happening next. Most things went as planned and the few little mistakes were easily and quickly corrected. I have never heard of anyone else's kitchen remodel going as smoothly as ours did. And, we are really enjoying beautiful new kitchen! I would also like to respond to an earlier reviewer who complained about having to pay extra beyond what was stated in the contract. Superior's contract states clearly that parts of the estimate are "allowances" based on initial projections of what the homeowner wants. These allowances cover a nice kitchen remodel. However, sometimes the homeowner decides on extras that take them over the allowances. These are easily handled with "change orders" in which the homeowner pays extra. For example, we ended up wanting fancy handmade tile for the backsplash, so we went over our allowance and paid extra. Many other companies don't even include allowances in the estimates and they make the homeowner buy most of the materials themselves. Thus, Superior's method of using allowances lets the homeowner have a better idea of how much they will end up spending. It is not intended to be the final estimate, though. read more
