Great venue. Very clean. Free water. The roof is really nice. I came here during a blizzard for a show and it is definitely insulated. Nice smoking section that's closeby with excellent views of the city. Come here and feel like a million bucks. Easy bathroom situation. Security inside and outside were on their game. There was a nice coat check. It has an elevated vibe to it. Great sound system, decent light system. VIP is a little odd, because it's on the side. I was extremely disappointed with my experience here. My friends and I came here specifically to watch the FIFA World Cup Final, expecting a great atmosphere for such a huge event. Unfortunately, it turned out to be one of the worst viewing experiences I've ever had. The projector screen was way too small and mounted far too low, making it almost impossible to see the game. When we first arrived, a staff member told us to go upstairs. We did, only to find that the view was even worse. Large hanging light fixtures completely blocked the screen, and part of the upstairs area was roped off for what appeared to be a private section, leaving very limited seating with a decent view. After less than 10 minutes, we gave up and left to find another place to watch the match because it was simply unbearable. After the game ended, my friends and I decided to come back because we wanted to enjoy the rooftop DJ event, which was completely separate from the World Cup viewing area. Before buying tickets, I specifically asked the security guard at the entrance if the $19 Rooftop tickets on the Dice app were the correct tickets for the event. He confirmed that they were. Based on that information, the three of us purchased our tickets and got in line. However, when we reached the entrance, another security guard checked our IDs and suddenly told us we couldn't enter because there was "No Re-entry." This made absolutely no sense. Our first visit was around 3:00 PM to watch the World Cup Final. Our second visit was around 7:00 PM, and we had purchased completely separate tickets for the rooftop event. We even asked before buying the tickets to make sure everything was correct. Instead of trying to understand the situation or help us, all we got was, "No re-entry. Thank you. Good night." Every time we tried to explain that we had just purchased separate rooftop tickets, we were ignored. The organization of this event was terrible, communication between staff was inconsistent, and customer service was incredibly disappointing. We ended up wasting money on rooftop tickets because of incorrect information provided by the staff. This experience completely ruined what should have been an exciting World Cup Final. I won't be coming back, and I definitely can't recommend this place to anyone. read more

Went here for a pride rooftop event with my cousin and he's friends from like 4-7. Can't say how the food is if they even have any as I wasn't there for that. Loved the energy, the two floor rooftop. The indoor bar, and two outdoor bar option. As well as the small seating area outside. I'd like to see it with a different dj however. I'm not sure of this place is know for rave music but I would very much like to check it out with music I can dance to. I normally get a Malibu sunrise and it's 12-18. Superior Ingredients, formerly known as Output, is the place you want to be on a Sunday. The crowd is a mixed bag like any other venue, but the performances hit always and all ways! This is a great place to dance away the Sunday scaries. To potentially meet a new boo or forget an old one. To pause your problems, even if just for a couple of hours. To meet new friends. To unleash your alter ego. To dance amongst a crowd of hotties. To be a hottie. To chain smoke on a rooftop. To release all inhibitions. This is the place! If you're a pro with a friend, arriving around 4:30ish is ideal. You want to witness the sweet sunset action. But you can also attend alone; it's safe. Security is great, and so is the crowd. You'll make friends. Sometimes, you'll have to link your credit card to your wristband at the door, and sometimes not. The drinks are strong. They rarely change the drink menu. You can order regular drinks. Stay away from the Mezcal Margarita, trust--worst hangover of your life. Ideally, don't drink much, Iykyk! The bathrooms are the most annoying thing. They are tiny and all pissy towards the end of the night. Ladies, carry tissue with you. Grab some from the bar. It's no biggie. It's a small price to witness the great DJs performing. Prices vary depending on the times you enter. Sometimes, Dice (app) will send you free tickets. Take them, and enjoy. Dance! Dance hard. The world is crazy. Honestly in the times of my youth, this venue was known as Output and it was a nice venue but sometimes security did act out of pocket as one would say. The key to coming here sometimes was to not miss those windows when admission was free or discounted. Since it got it's new name, I did come here at least 3 or 4 times and loved every minute of it. Even as recent as April or so of 2025, I intended to come here for Yellow Claw's afternoon show one Sunday, they are more successful right now since a few of their songs were featured in the movie Babygirl. In the past, I did even attend a party here with Donnie Wahlberg in attendance as well. Overall, great vibes at the bars here and in every aspect really of coming here. The layout here as Superior Ingredients is very impressive as well. Hope to come back to this venue sometime soon. Hopefully in the next month or two. read more

I went with a group to the rooftop day party they had- we went later towards sunset. The skyline views were gorgeous. Since the event had been going on since 2pm the floors were all sticky from spilled drinks when you walked in. It was decently busy and the DJ was good, but the music was extremely loud. Getting through the crowd was annoying to go anywhere. We got in some good dancing time for the night- I don't know that I would come back again though. read more

I went with my wife to hear Rodger Sanchez play 12-7-25 I am disabled and require seating, I was first put in contact with Ried the manager I was amazed how well we were taken care of by Yunis the head of security, this enabled me to really enjoy the music and experience, Rodger was awesome as always, very cool lighting and sound system is excellent and the view of manhattan is beautiful. This review is solely based on vibes. My friend invited me out saying "wanna go to a cute chill rooftop in brooklyn and listen to house music?" This was the place. Loveeee the view. It was beautiful watching the sunset over the manhattan skyline. While it was crowded, no one was pushy and tried to leave everyone some space. I did not get anything to drink, but my friends were there and back (the bar) in no time which shows attentive and efficient bartenders. I am looking forward to returning and getting to know this venue more throughout the summer! read more

I was eager to check out Superior Ingredients because it occupies the former and beloved Output space, a club whose closing I still mourn. There are a lot of challenges of reimagining beloved venues, Im sure, but let's just say after my visit to Superior Ingredients I still find the end of Output a loss for those of us who came of age into NYC nightlife in the 2010s. That magical deck overlooking the city skyline was the backdrop to so many dance parties in my 20s. Returning to the space under its new incarnation as Superior Ingredients, I noticed a dramatic shift in the crowd, which has become noticeably more homogenous, bro-y, and kinda pushy. People were pushing their way to the front, both in the VIP and general sections. I guess this venue is emblematic of the neighborhood's shift in general-- the Outputs of today mostly exist in Ridgewood and Bushwick, where the crowd might have their own peculiarities, but I think they're generally a lot more considerate. The DJs this venue attracts speaks to this changing demographic as well. Now I think I sound old. The good-- the space is still beautiful and the upstairs outdoor deck remains a highlight. If I ever find myself in this space again I'll stick to the back and remain close to my friends. Those of us who miss Output will view Superior Ingredients as a bittersweet epilogue. It literally occupies a familiar space, but the soul of what made those nights special seems to have moved on. read more

I paid for VIP and there were absolutely no places to sit between sets. The venue also had NO EATS and a strict no reentry policy, so I couldn't even leave to get a pizza/sushi/sandwich and come back. The VIP tickets definitely were not worth it. I wouldn't visit again. Lauren racially profiled my friend, my husband and myself, kept checking our VIP armbands but would let any white person enter our space. We kept getting moved around and she eventually told us we'd get free drinks after offloading the blame onto her staff. We were fed up and never saw her nor "Leatherpants" lady the whole rest of the night. Lauren said she was the head organizer so I said that was even worse because how can you be leading such a mess? I had less than a foot of space to really enjoy myself and we had no safe space to dance. Who knew Output would become an event space venue? Go figure! Been here a few times now & I gotta say the roof top is so much better such a huge improvement. Seems bigger, enclosed now which is nicer, decent open space for dancing. The outer part looks great w the seating. In the upper level u have another standing area, seating plus nice views. Downstairs is basically the same, floor space for dancing , nice bathroom set up. Drinks, usually water, beer, seltzers, shots service was quick prices ahh typical club prices I guess. Hands-down, best place I visited on my recent NYC trip!!! My friend and I attended a sundowner event on a Sunday (I know, wild?!) and it was a blast! We were in Brooklyn to listen and dance to an internationally celebrated DJ, Rafa Barrios who made his debut on The Roof at Superior Ingredients for a special day into night event. The roof top is spacious and the sunset views with good music was cherry on the cake! The cocktails are definitely watered down and tad bit expensive, that's when we switched to shots! The Security staff was tad bit slow and it took us forever to check in even though we had tickets, but I still don't have any complaints as my friend and I had a blast at this place. The staff were friendly though, just a bit slow. Keep looking for events at Superior Ingredients as they promote new DJs and good music and has a very decent and diverse crowd. This venue is a stunning wedding spot and one I actively inquired about for my wedding in 2023 - but my unfortunate experience is their New Year's Eve party at the rooftop due to which I'd absolutely never consider this venue or recommend it. My group of 15 friends and I purchased their $230/pp tickets for the rooftop, which was advertised as a higher tier ticket than their regular "superior ingredient" area for $80. The ticket included admission and open bar, with what was supposed to be a diverse selection of DJ's. The admission line was an hour + all night. The open bar was non-existent. It was a safety hazard to even stand in line due to the surge crowd pushing. After the one hour wait in line to get drinks while being physically suffocated, the bar has no juice or mixers of any sort. Disgusting "cocktails". The "rooftop" that was different than the cheap tickets was a wet outdoor area that had no bar of its own. Everyone was in the same crowded venue space and there was no distinction to be made. Every one had access to the same areas, so why falsely advertised at $230 VS the same $80 package is beyond me besides corporate greed. Not to mention, the DJ's had zero variety. We watched from the rooftop deck at how one of the DJ's literally talked to her friend the entire time and wasn't actually mixing. 30 years + of NYE spent here and I've never been somewhere that didn't do a count down or acknowledge the new year. The 15 of us simultaneously agree to this being a gross rooftop venue and personally the worst establishment I've visited. I'm sure it works for the transplants who were all drugged on NYE, but not for any sane individual looking to receive their $230 worth. PS: We were only able to receive one gross drink each the entire night from the open bar that was offered in my $230 ticket - that's how bad the bar was. It's a big fat no from me and ruined our entire evening and new year. PS: I've noticed in reviews that the manager responses in a grotesque manner to any review that slightly criticized this venue. Please stop harassing guests whom you clearly mistreat. Just stop it. Otherwise, this venue's got 15 big fat business bureau complaints coming their way ;) read more

Went to a show at Superior Ingredients on Friday night. A space made for a high quality shows, but they need to learn when to cut off entry. Quality: The first thing that needs to be said about Superior Ingredients is that the sound system is incredible. Everything you could want for a DJ set, excellent bass, good balance, and high quality. They also have quality artists coming through, faces that will fill the space. However, they haven't found the right balance for attendance, and it was way too busy for the show I saw. I felt boxed in the whole night, and there was no real escape from the main area because of the even more packed outdoor space. It seemed an unnecessary problem with the overlook area barely in use and the rooftop. Quantity: Need to either open up other areas of the venue or sell less tickets. Value: Tickets vary depending on the show. Ambiance: Superior Ingredients is a club located in Williamsburg. The space has multiple venues, including a rooftop, but the show I attended was just the main floor. They have a dance space with a lounge area for VIPs overlooking the stage. A small bar is in the corner and they had a small fenced-in outdoor area for smokers or for a break from the show. The sound system was excellent, and the lights were intense. Crowd: They definitely oversold the show, and it was cramped and hot inside. Weird mix of people, some who seemed to stumble upon this show and others prepared to rave. Service: Quick and easy to get in and fast bartenders. Bathrooms however were a disaster. Parking: Annoying parking situation on busy nights. read more
