First time clubbing here and it's a pretty nice spot. It was packed with a lot of people jamming to the bopping lights and music. The line didn't take too long and we only had to pay $20 cover fee (FYI ITS CASH YALL!). The drinks are kinda strong which is good and there's some weird funny stuff that happens in the bathrooms but that's just how it is with clubs lol. Will def come again especially for the disco lights!!

1st time here... Came for a Prince vs MJ party by DJ Spinna. It was the two year anniversary of Prince's death. This place was packed! Hot and sweaty and a peaceful crowd who just wanted to jam to MJ and Prince all night!!! I loved the disco ball and the lighting. Hard to say if I liked the place or not. I didn't have drinks... but I had a good time and had no issues so I'll stay with 4 stars for now Parking is street and could be tough. Down the street from Brooklyn Bowl and other bars.

I love the vibe here. The sound system is off the charts with my fav DJ @718 sessions/Danny. So alive. All X's are welcomed. No judgement zone.

Just so you'll know - I'm a hyper-critical *b* when it comes to dance clubs. I'm a life-long, literally card carrying member of the dance club culture for oh - 35 years now. I have some VERY strong opinions about clubs. I'm a fantastic dancer; pretty informed about dance music; and an interior and lighting designer. I've been friends and educated by and worked with some luminary figures in the club lighting / design world. There are a LOT of things that I want to do to the Good Room. Aesthetically. It's not the most gorgeous club any of us has seen. Nope. (Though there is a Chihuly chandelier in the little ante-chamber next to the Bad Room.) I personally LOVE the traffic flow around the dance floor. And though I can be critical of the lighting, when they actually have someone there that knows what their doing (operating the lights) it's a very competent lighting scheme in the main space, The "Good Room." Lighting in the smaller "Bad Room" is pretty disappointing, honestly. I don't go all the time. And I go through phases where I find myself there more or less. But it's been a couple of years and I just love the place. I've been there on weeknights and weekends. I've been to house parties, techno parties, gay nights, mostly straight nights, older crowds, younger crowds. A very diverse roster of happenings. They have a commitment to serious DJs. Great sound. Really nice staff - including the owner. He seems super chill and personable. Fabulous parties, always. I always have a GREAT time there. I'll admit for whatever reason I have two female friends that REFUSE to go there. No kidding. I don't know why. They just "don't like it." So there is that. For myself, it's one of my favorite clubs.

We booked the tickets online. There was a small queue but totally worth it. Bouncers are well spoken and not at all rude (that was a surprise). The coat check-in lady was also super nice to us. Then we entered and boooom. This place is littt. Good sound quality, good dj. The bartenders are welcoming and make you feel good. None of staff was rude or arrogant at all.

This place was great! My 1st time coming here was over the weekend for a Prince vs Michael Jackson party. At first, there wasn't a line so we thought once we found parking, we would just take in the scenery around the area and then go in later. Once we we actually walked there, the line grew tremendously and we found out upon walking in that the place was packed! There is cool art drawing outside of the club that I didn't necessarily get a chance to take a picture of. The bouncers at the door were pretty efficient although they never asked for ID. Once we got in, we walked up a steep flight of stairs and walked into a fairly hot/humid party lol. The energy was exhilarating, everybody seemed to be having a GREAT time! There is a cool disco ball at the top in the middle of the dance floor and they have cool strobe lights throughout the club! Since this is in Brooklyn, you should already know you have to circle the block a few times for parking. Fortunately for us, we were able to find parking pretty quickly. I definitely had a great time here and would recommend anyone to come depending on what type of party it is. Additionally, there are other bars in the area that looked just as fun!

Pretty fun with a big space and two rooms. Some seating area and the music was nice. There is a cover but $20 isn't bad.

Is there a dress code? Sneakers/casual ok?

Casual is ok. I wore jean jacket and boots.

Is there a check fee charge for entering the establishment?

There's a charge to enter (may vary by night, expect to pay $20+ per person) and a charge for coat check. Both are cash only

The music is at a low enough volume that you can hear your conversations, it doesn't get too crowded so you can spread out, even if you're in a large group. Downstairs, it's a lot tighter, with a DJ, dance floor, lounge seating area, and a much more packed and busy atmosphere on the weekends. I like ping ponging between both vibes when I'm with friends. Admittedly I've found the music both times to be too experimental for me. Confessing that makes me feel like an old person shaking my fist or at least shaking my head, misunderstanding what makes the youth tick. But I had no trouble twirling around the dance floor to this weird experimental music after throwing back a few tequila sodas upstairs. A few times while here my friends have split up into the group that wants to go downstairs to dance and the group that wants to stay upstairs and chill. It's relatively easy to navigate between both vibes, which I enjoy about this spot very much.

When we saw "Water Tower" on the elevator we decided to press it. SO GLAD WE DID. We landed at the Water Tower and walked into a fairly empty space decorated with art all the way to the ceiling, filled with natural light coming in and the views of the skyline were out of this world. We had to try their drinks of course to enjoy with the incredible view. Though the drinks are $21 and served in a plastic cup that evening, I was NOT expecting my drink to be this insanely delicious. I ordered the inferno Paloma which they infuse themselves with- and it was true perfection. By the way, each bar has their own menu which is pretty awesome and makes it even more fun. Also, Axel is the most incredible bartender and we absolutely loved his creations. Later that night we ordered a custom mandarin margarita, with a spicy twist, and WOW. He's truly talented and absolutely made us some awesome drinks that we can't stop talking about. Sunset with a view and a spicy mezcal drink? Yes and YES. We had this place all to ourselves and can't wait to be back. Friday nights they have DJ nights and you can also book the Water Tower for your own private events which is pretty cool!

Watching soccer, pretending as if I had been looking forward to Germany playing Curaçao for weeks. The occasional glance at the Chrysler building across the East River. As I worked my way through my beers, the amazing bartender perfectly timing my refills, I felt as if this may be my new place. My "get away from all the noise" safe haven. That was until I was halfway through beer three. It all got dark. I mean it literally got dark. A waitress began pulling down all the blinds, taking away the sun haven I had found myself loving. Taking away the joy I had worked so hard to achieve. That is when I knew that that beer would be my last. I did not come to a bar with a wall of windows to end up in a place darker than the Rikers Island cells mere miles away. So I ask this one question to the waitress, why? Why ruin the joy of light? Why ruin it?

It is too bad Yelp doesn't allow half stars as I would honestly put this one at a 3.5 and am rounding up. While the quality of the elevated seafood bites is immaculate, they are just that: a bite or two of food, for an elevated price considering the amount of food you get. After spending $76 a person, we were still hungry, whereas that amount would have been enough to feed two average women at another good restaurant. But if you go with an expense account or trust fund baby, definitely get the scallops and the yellowtail pastrami because those two items will blow your mind. Our waitress pointed these two out to us and we're grateful for her guidance because it was spot on. Paying for bread at a Solomonov joint is odd. No dessert menu is odder.
