I know the compressor.is working. The compressor run for 30 second and shut down wait for 2 minutes will start again and it shut down after 30 seconds, and it has good pressure inside the compressor. I paid $130 for that useless system diagnosis report. I have another guy come to check. The guy went up to attic, then he find that wet sensor is dead. That is the problem, $60 fixed. We should have gotten the ducts cleaned before installing an in-duct booster fan, but we didn't think of it, so we needed the cleaners to be extra careful with their rotating brushes in that area. They came out 3-2-26. [I deleted the rest of my review, but the photos can' be deleted - they show dirt that showed up on our filter 2 months later. Capitol Duct came out again right away and took care of everything. NOTE to others - if something goes wrong, call them before posting a bad review.]

I told them that my system never kept up on hot days. They offered a bid and I thought they were totally fair on price. So we pulled the trigger. Especially helped to make my mind up as it was around 78 degrees outside the next day and the old system still didn't keep up. They gave me 2 bids and I opted for the more high efficiency bid. Jacob and Aaron arrived at the house to complete the job. My house being 100 years old, it wasn't the easiest and Jacob had to put in the O.T. to get it done. I was still skeptical that it would keep up. But this new system is actually amazing. We've already hit 90 degrees since the install and my thermostat never varied from 72 degrees where I set it. Im 100% satisfied with this company and would absolutely recommend them. Also when Aaron did the electrical, we had a light start blinking. I wasn't sure if it was from the work they did and so I called the company. Aaron came out and fixed my light and it just happened to be a random occurrence not caused by the work being done. I had to hire a separate, competent HVAC company to undo their mistakes and get it operating correctly. Technical Incompetence & Communication Failures * Failed Installation: Despite multiple attempts, they repeatedly failed to get the system running properly. * Unprofessional Communication: Management blamed me for their technical failures, scheduled an out-of-state rep without checking my availability, gave night-before notice, and blamed me when the meeting fell through. Code Violations & Financial Misconduct * Bypassed Legal Protocols: They failed to perform mandatory ACCA Load Calculations required under the WA State Energy Code and ignored mandatory electrical/mechanical inspections until I made them a condition of final payment. * Retaliation & Charges: Because the project was unfinished, I withheld a small balance. In response, they placed an unauthorized charge on my credit card--forcing me to cancel it--and filed an inflated Claim of Lien against my property including nearly $1,000 for unprovided services. Current Unresolved Status While they finally reduced my balance to account for the second contractor's fees, the issue remains unresolved. Despite signing a Conditional Waiver and Release, they refuse to provide a copy, tracking info, or proof of mailing for the Lien Release they claim to have sent to the King County Recording office. Shortly after installation, I expressed concerns that the AC is not cool/cold for my house and my bedroom upstairs reach's 80F+ even with AC on. AAA came back and said nothing was wrong and even said oh maybe your builder should have installed 2 HVAC systems. I actually questioned their experience as the crew came out for an assessment based on my house sq footage and recommended this unit for my house and I was later told by another tech that the is AC unit is a bit small for my house.. unsure whether they were trying to sell some other unpopular units to their clients. Fast fwd, I hired another company for maintenance today and was told and shown that there were rust and water in my unit and the Inducer has a crack due to POOR gas pipe installation by AAA. Also, the tech told me AAA should have put in a bigger AC unit for my house instead of blaming I need another HVAC. Hence, AAA did not have experience staff to do initial assessment to determine AC BTU/Ton size and their installation was POORLY done!
