After going to different locations and no one picked up the phone. I decided to call San Dimas to see if they had an appointment and they answered right away. They told me I could come in the next hour how great! I get there and they ask me to wait 10 minutes. And I got a wash and cut. I wasn't sure what to do with my hair but all I knew was I didn't like my hair. Thank you Alisa for suggesting long layers because I love it! And thank you to the gentleman that washed my hair( I didn't catch his name) who did an amazing job. Now I feel confident in my hair when I haven't compared to going to other locations. Very slow pace hair stylist. They don't seem too care about how long a person is waiting. They love to too talk a lot. I called in and still had to wait 1/2 hour. And they wonder why people stop coming. These stylist have to care about people waiting. Don recommended this location at all. read more

Time and time again, just disappointing. I've gone here for many years for trims and layers and each time I come out with a poor job, the most uneven layers, and a high charge on my card. Why do I keep coming back? Convenience. There are two for sure very bad stylists in this place and I have no idea how they even have their license to cut hair. I've been going to this Supercuts for a while. It's not the best haircut but it's usually quick and easy. I went in a half hour before closing and was told by Maricela that they were "all booked" for the night. Considering that they don't even take appointments (just "call ahead" to check in) I don't really see how that's possible. If you're not going to take customers who show up during business hours, perhaps you should update your hours to reflect when you're actually open. I don't plan on coming back here since it's apparently a gamble if they'll actually offer their services during business hours. read more

Luisa was great! She was very informative and confident in my sons cut while I was pretty unsure but could only really give minimal instruction as to short on his lower and longer in the top part of his head. She wanted me to be hands in every step of the way to ensure I was good with the length. We hadn't cut his hair for a very long time too so I was a little nervous but my god! I left the Claremont super cuts to come to the San Dimas location after I walked in at 8:30 and the girl tells me they are not open till 10 Am which I was confused becuase the sign said open as she was giving a haircut and yelp stated open @ 8am . Took my 10 year old niece to get a hair cut and had a good experience but the price was higher than expected- $50! I believe the hair wash was the spike in price but I did not ask. I didn't want to embarrass her since it was my treat. In the future, i hope they consider being upfront on the cost, while on the phone so that i could have washed her hair at the house before going. Will we be back- likely yes but with wet hair! read more

Went yesterday to hair salon of Supercut in San Dimas. So empty. Three stylist just standing around. Could not take me and my mom in for three more hours. Woman stylist spent 15 minutes explaining how she or the other girls could not do the work until 5. Both of us just wanted a trim. Acted like they did not care to lose two sales. I have gone there for twenty years and I expect to wait. The girl could have done my hair and my mom's. Drove to to Fantastic Sam's in Glendora who was busy. I waited 20 minutes; which I expected to wait. They were super busy but the staff did not want to lose two sales. Surprised Supercut in Sam Dimas went downhill. They just acted frustrated, and lazy. No wonder their place was empty of customers. read more

seriously wish i could give zero stars. I came in after allowing my friend to give me a hair cut but I did not have the heart to tell her that some pieces of hair were longer than the rest. I asked the stylist to just trim the pieces that were longer to match the rest of the hair. What did this stylist do? Started adding layers I did not ask for. She didn't not confirm with me how high up she was going to cut before starting, just went straight to it. I decided to try to trust the process because she seemed confident after I explained what I wanted. In the chair i couldn't see how bad it was especially because the hair was still wet it makes it hard to tell. The photos are the next morning of me trying to style my hair and realizing how horrible the cut is. It brought me to tears. The first picture you can see the pieces of hair in the back of my head are significantly shorter than the front. How does that even happen?! I know it's just hair but I'm honestly heartbroken over my hair right now. This cut has totally ruined my confidence and now I just want to hide my hair. I already contacted customer service and I am hoping to receive some type of refund, especially considering I have to pay more now to attempt to fix my hair. read more

So although the experience was pleasant, I really am extremely disappointed in the fact that the woman who cut my daughters hair not only ruined her beautiful hair but made her look like LLOYD CHRISTMAS! I can't believe the lady didn't pay more attention to the fact that she could've asked me to hold my daughters face up or at the least lift her chin so she doesn't look completely ridiculous. I went in looking for an affordable hair cut, but was worried about if affordable meant that it wouldn't be as good quality. I worry about that because I don't trust many people with my hair since I kind of cherish my hair. I was seen right away, no wait. I told my wonderful stylist, Izaiah, what I wanted and I stumbled explaining it but he understood exactly what I wanted. Izaiah was super sweet to talk to, and was honest about every question I asked about my hair! He cut exactly the length I wanted. My friend and I visited this location this morning, arrived right when they opened. No wait time. The problem is that the haircut was the worst I have ever had! The lady who cut it was nice enough but after I got home and hit my hair with the straightener, I realized how awful the cut was. I had long hair and wanted a good amount of the length taken off and a trim on the bangs. My hair is wavy as a rule. The woman sprayed some stuff on my hair and it was still pretty wet when I left. Looking in the mirror it it was impossible to tell what the cut looked like. At home there was several places where my hair was still pretty long, especially the sides! I just wanted a straight across cut! I'm not even kidding when I say this is the worst cut I have ever had. Now I need to find someone to fix it, and pay again! The selling point that brought my friend and I there today was I found a price online that said there is a $12.00 cut for age 62 and over. That's not what we paid. I wouldn't have minded paying a higher price if it was a good cut. This is just pathetic! Shame too because the woman was nice and friendly. No More Supercuts for me! read more

This place is located near my school and I decided to go here because I wan te d to try it out. DO NOT GET A HAIRCUT HERE. They cut my hair so bad it wasn't even funny. Long story short, this was pretty much the only place open after 8pm and my usual place was closed and had no other choice.. The best part, the lady literally finished my haircut in ~5 minutes. I am not exaggerating either. I get a tapered cut on the sides and scissor a little off the top and this will normally take about 20-25 min. By the time I started this review, she had already finished me. I was thrown off, thinking we were only about halfway through.. It's not the worst cut, but I am not paying $19 for a 5 minute rush job w/ no straight blade shave after. This is just not right.. If you've gotten this far on my review (thank you first and foremost) she probably already finished a second person. Lesson learned.. be loyal to your barber! read more

As far as haircut places go, in my opinion, this place is ok. I'm a guy who keeps his hair short. There is absolutely no need for me to go to LA/Hollywood and spend big bucks to get my hair cut short. Not what I asked for and displayed to her. She cut more than I asked for of my hair and thinned it out but cut my curtain bangs thick.
