People who can do curly haircuts properly are always hard to find. Luckily, I found Raquel! My appointment was for 11am but I accidentally saved it for 1pm. Raquel was very accommodating and said I can come at that time! Lucky me. My hair was very tangled (i tried my best to untangle it) and she was able to untangle all of it without putting me in any pain (thanks!!) I really loved that she was fun to talk to and was good at giving me instructions. I told her that I am hard of hearing and she worked around the sound barrier. Yay meee!! I have curly hair and I haven't found anyone to do my hair right until I came here Alex is the most requested, cause I saw so many people waiting for Alex. Kitty is the one I went to and as soon as she had sat down, before even touching my hair, she asked me questions, she wanted to know what I wanted - it felt outstanding to know that she was taking the time to understand what I was looking for Word of advice come in with a picture so she can go from there and an idea of what you want to do, don't pull a me Once we got that situated, she went and got it done and I knew she listened when she was done It made my day and I felt gorgeous This was also my first time in a salon since covid started. They do require you wear a mask and they disinfect everything, the place was very clean and even if they're doing hair they will stop to acknowledge customers coming in, some people wanted to wait in their cars which is cool but don't expect them to go out to get you. They are very busy so make sure you get the however many minutes that they tell you and set an alarm to come back in One last thing please tip them, because the haircuts aren't expensive and right now everyone is struggling so please remember that these people live on tips too and for the job their doing and the awesomeness they do with hair - be kind to them Also call ahead they give you an idea of how busy they are and it makes it easier for them yes they do take walk ins but be prepared if they're busy They do hair colors but you have to make an appointment so they can do a patch of your hair because covid has been so fun - they want to make sure your hair takes the color and then give them a chance to get the color that you want just right - basically their doing alchemy so don't rush perfection and follow their instructions, they like to do things right the first time I'm so coming back, now that I've found a place that I want to come back to and the knowledge that the hairstylist have with the confidence that they show won me over read more

This is the second time I made an appointment ahead of time for Alex and both times he is never on time. I got lucky twice and caught him without someone but there's no point in making an appointment if I'm still waiting 30-40 mins. Do not recommend this location. read more

The Supercuts online sign in has gotten so bad it makes it impossible to figure out when to go in. My sign in time was 98 minutes when is signed up. Then went to 120 min, down to 45 min after two hours then went up to 89 min? It's a mess and you can't go in and wait as it's a two or three hour wait due to all the people signing up online. I'm done and looking for a new place to get my hair cut. read more

My daughter was supposed to get her hair trimmed a few months ago here... I say trimmed because she asked for an inch to an inch and a half to be taken off. What she ended up was a full-on chop where the stylist ended up taking over 6 inches off of her hair. Her hair was not in bad condition to need that much, as she had been doing regular trims to keep it healthy and breakage-free. The woman cutting her hair just kept commenting that she has "so much length, are you sure you want it this long?" (Her hair was to the bottom of her hiney, after the cut, she ended up cutting it to just below her shoulder blades) She left in tears and cried periodically for a week afterward. Even all these months later, she is still frustrated and trying to regain her length that she lost. Got my hair cut by a girl named Cooper 3/25/23 and I asked her use my longest layer on my hair to stay with that length and she said ok I told her that my hair is curly my hair is down to my waist so don't go shot she never wet my hair she never parted my hair while she never even wet my hair she never took off this leather jacket she wore it the whole time she cut my hair. so when I got home to style my hair it was not even cut the way I wanted at all she cut all my hair off I she just chopped cut my hair so when I tried calling the store it was closed already. so the I went to the store and asked to speak with a manager The same girl Cooper was there and told me that she was the manager I showed her what she did to my hair she told me she would fix it I told her I did not want a cut from her to to have another cut from her. I told her I want my money back she told me that I would have to call corporate to get my money back because they don't give refunds back at all . I was in the area after dropping off some brush at a local landscape supply and was in need of a haircut for my upcoming anniversary. With covid going on I wasn't sure what to expect but the store was extremely sanitary. Dusty was my stylist and I wasn't entirely sure what I wanted I just knew it was some type of fade. She informed me that she was still working on mastering those but her manager Kitty would be able to step in and help if needed. Needless to say Dusty with a little bit of help from Kitty knocked my haircut out of the park. I absolutely love the fade. Not many other "barbershops" have been able to help me achieve the look I've been looking for. I go here ever now and then to get my hair cut. I have had many of the staff cut my hair. My cut is simple trim and round and thin, doens't take long. No fancy stuff like towel wraps, or neck massages but they all do a reaasonable job for me. The cost about $14 plus tip. Oh yes they have one TV! Would I go back? I feel guilty giving on star because the guy who cut my hair was very nice but he just did not know how to properly section and cut bangs so now I'm forced to have a bowl cut on the front half of my head. Like many women my hair is directly connected to my self confidence and now it is completely shot I'm forced to wear headbands and ponytails till it grows out and that's frustrating. Again I do want to say the guy was nice I just feel like he wasn't educated properly on how to section. I'm currently in cosmetology school so I should have spoken up when it felt wrong so I am partially to blame but there is a certain line of trust you have when you go in for a haircut and that was broken for me. I read the reviews on Yelp and requested to have Kelly cut my hair yesterday. Kelly did an AWESOME job! For the first time in a LONG time I am completely happy with my hair. If you go there request for Kelly! I've been requesting her for over a year now after a haircut fiasco at home where my brother tried to cut my hair. She took her time when I went there for the first time and suggested a haircut that would look good on me. She even gave me a free fix up when I didn't like my haircut at one point. It was my fault for wearing too much hair product making it difficult judge how it would look without it. I go just about every two weeks! I promise she won't disappoint. I moved to Austin just under 2 years ago and it took me a while to find anywhere that would cut my hair to how I like it, much longer to find a stylist that got it just right. Now, I'm a regular at Supercuts every two weeks because Kelly Jo Peacock (the one with the awesome multicolor, ever-changing hair) has cut my hair. She will take every instruction you ask so you can get the exact haircut you want. And trust me, she does a great job every time. This location off of I-35 and 45 likes to close 11 minutes early. They were inside and pretended like they couldn't see us standing outside the glass door. My husband could've easily gotten his hair cut in less than 10 minutes. But instead they lost customers. We won't be returning. Called to confront them about closing early. Questionable. Is the word that pops in my mind after my experience yesterday. I thought I could squeeze in a hair cut in before my 4th of July weekend. When I walked in the place it had no waiting. Sat in the chair the stylist ask what I needed. All I wanted was 1 inch to 1.5 inches removed. She then started to ask my husband if he needed a haircut, and when he said no it looked awkward because she started pressuring him. Are you sure? You look like you need a touch up? After he said no again she started to focus on me. Her first cut was maybe a half an inch when I told her she can cut more she cut even less that the original piece she showed me. But she was on her way with my trim, so yay. But then she shortly asked me if I wanted layers so I asked her what she thought? Now I have had layers before and since I am in my mid 40s I have pretty much have done it my hair all blue hair,perms,shaved, short,long. All us children from the 80s also have Aqua Netted it up. So I have also had layers before. So when I asked her what her thoughts are she shook her head and said Nah, your hair is too thin. Lol then why ask?? Now the very short 8 mins I spend with this young lady with I'm going to say 1 inch hair trim cost me $20. That to me is the questionable transaction. No styling no blow dry no washing!! Just a $20.00 trim and a lot of hassle smh. I can go Fair lady Salon and pay $10.00 more and get all that. Lesson learn make time to make me feel special! I just had one of the worst haircut experiences ever. A lady named billie gave me a horrible fade. At first it seemed as if she knew what she was doing because she asked me if i wanted a high & tight fade. I had told her i wanted a low fade and after almost half an hr she turns me around and says "well Im sorry this was the best i can do , I'm used to doing military fades". one side was higher then the other and I had a big bowl hair line going around my head. Its horrible!!!. She Didnt offer me a coupon or anything. She just let me walk out sad with my really bad hightop military so called fade. Really upset read more
