This has been a review I've been wanting to write for a long time. I got a haircut by Erika and she ruined my hair! It was disastrous! It has been over 4 months and I've been waiting for my hair to recover and grow to a normal length so I can go recut it somewhere else. She is not qualified at ALL to cut hair. This place is great. I was paying close to $100 for my trendy salon haircuts and just could not afford paying that price. I took a chance and decided to see what this Supercuts had to offer. I had heard that this particular Supercuts location had some great stylists. It was true. I showed the girl (Tara) what I wanted and got exactly that. Plus, not only did I get a great stylish cut (pixie cut) but I only paid around $20. You can't beat that. People complain about waiting, but of course you have to wait...it's a walk-in chain haircutting place. It comes with the place. They can't control the walk-ins, so, yes, at times the stylists are overwhelmed. But they do their best given the circumstances. Just call ahead or go next door to Starbucks and chill for a bit. You can also request your stylist if you have a favorite. I'm willing to wait given the money I'm saving. Every time I walk in, somebody greets me with a smile. Men and women of all ages get their haircut here. So don't feel like you might feel out of place. You won't. read more

I have been waiting for almost 2 hours. They havent called me yet. They called people who made reservation by phone. So when is my turn? I checked in already without appointment, but i hv been waiting for almost 2 hours. People keep coming. You have to be patient if you come here. One think i like is they are polite. read more

WORST HAIRCUT EVER ... Well, at least since the early 1970s when my mom made me get awful shag haircuts. What part of "Don't cut more than ONE inch" didn't she get?? I kept telling her she was cutting too much, and she said she wasn't. Ended up with 5" off the length ( I have before picture so I know exactly how long it was before I was butchered). Big problem is that I have really curly hair and lots of random cowlicks, so I need the weight of long hair. I look like a cross between Lil Orphan Annie and a street urchin. When she was finished destroying my hair, she said she cut less than an inch, but then said she had to make it line up with the shortest length. So, why make the shortest length too short to keep overall trim to ONE INCH?!?! I would put it in a pony tail for six months, until it grows out, but it's too short for a pony tail. I've had some decent haircuts from other people at this location, but never again. Plus, you have to walk through a smoking gauntlet (a bunch of creepy guys smoking around the building) to get to the front door. Here's a thought ... If you want repeat business, do what people ask. read more

This is a Big FAT Negative Star if I give it that rating. Tuesday June 4th, it's the night before my 8th grader's promotion. He suddenly decides that he needs his hair cut after 8. Now, I know very well that this is a tall order...but hey we living a big city and times are tough so businesses are open later. So we pop over to our local unsuperrudecuts at 8:20 pm. Yes, I notice that the hours on the door state 8 but all the lights are on and we see people inside. So, I open the door and ask the big boned woman with princess leia hair if they were "taking anymore customers?". She responses in the most wicked attitudes I've every been spoken too by a "business". She tells me with her hand on her hip "that they have been closed for over 40 minutes!". So, I stupidly thinking maybe they want to make money ask her "is that a...no?". She spats out ,"Yes, that's a No!". Well, "I told her that I would never be back then". And she said, "Good". I can't believe this person is in a service job. Am I mad that they didn't take us in? No way, I knew it would be next to impossible. But, she was not professional and I have no idea way she would treat a previous and possible future client so rudely in front of other customers in the shop. An "I'm sorry we are closed but we open back up at 10 in the morning." would have been the way I would train my employees to speak to people that give you money and talk about their UNSUPER experiences. read more

It's Supercuts, i'm not giving them 5 stars.... but I have come here for awhile now since I need to save money. I'm pretty particular about my haircut. I like it short, choppy, but girly and whispy on the edges - a pixie that grows in well (halle berry style).. I've had pretty decent cuts here, they just don't seem to grow in as well as my Melrose Av. Stylist.... That said, I had to speak up because I LIKE Sophie. She has done a very good job on my hair there. She had NO difficulty speaking and understanding my English and as a matter of fact, she was my preferred (still is) stylist there. I went to some others out of desperation, not always happy with the results. It's pretty routine here. and I'd say it's a solid 3 stars, but i'm giving the one extra for Sophie because i don't think she deserves the 2 AWFUL reviews she received here. read more

If you go here Minoo is great, but make sure to stay away from Sophie. My hair is just barely wavy and *really* easy to cut, and she managed to give me the worst hair cut I've ever had. If I go back, I'll be requesting Minoo from now on. read more

I have been going to this Supercuts for years, usually Marina cuts my hair and she does a great job! Very professional and friendly, always lets me know if they have any products on sale. read more

This establishment is awful because: 1. The electronic sign-in process allows the stylists to ignore you when you walk in. Not even a hello or a glance in your direction. 2. When you sign-in they have no idea how many people have signed in before you and left (either to return again OR for good). So, you sit for 40 minutes thinking you are next when another patron walks in and takes your spot because they signed in first. The problem is that neither you nor the stylist, who ignored you when you walked in, has any idea that there was someone before you so that they can inform you that you are 4th in line instead or 2nd or 3rd. Thus, your 40 minute wait becomes a 60 minute wait or more. 3. They only ever have two stylists working at one time. If one of them is doing a color or highlight, etc then there is essentially only one stylist working. This results in very long wait times. I'll never go back to this Supercuts because of the reasons above. All they need to do is occasionally check the electronic sign-in, say hello to people who walk in and inform them of the wait time. Instead, I waited 45 minutes thinking I was third in line only to be told that two people that walked in just 5 minutes before were next because they had signed in a and left. Had I known that there were four people before me I wouldn't have wasted my time. read more

I came here about a week and a half ago and just had a trim, which was great. I asked for an estimate for my daughter, who wanted to dye her hair pink. I knew it was going to be a very long process because of bleaching first, etc. They gave me a quote which I thought was very reasonable, so we went in at 3:30 the next Sunday. They close at 5:00. At 3:45 they took her (knowing full well what we needed to have done), and were absolutely unbelievable. Two of the employees, Elva, who was doing my daughter's hair, who I can't rave about enough, and another woman stayed until 6:45. Almost two hours after they closed. After ringing up my daughter (including the shampoo and conditioner I needed for her hair) it was less than what they had quoted me. I was stunned. We were there for three hours, and it was less than $100 for the color. I can't recommend this Supercuts more. Elva was fantastic, and I wish I knew who stayed with her, because she was such a good sport, and even helped at times. read more

I don't usually write reviews... Had to wait at least 30 minutes. No attention to detail- actually very little attention. Stylist was talking / looking at something else the whole time. Long pauses to finish conversation with coworkers... There are several local barber shops in the area that are cheaper and the people who are cutting your hair actually take pride in the end product. There seems to be a range of ratings, but I had a great time. I had a shampoo, cut and beard trim. Miranda did a great job on everything, asking me what I wanted at each step (straight or curved back of neck, hair clear of ears...?) and then delivered on my request. I came on a Friday afternoon, so parking was tight, but there was not too much of a wait, inside. Ha, maybe the longest wait was filling out the computer form. Their phone/internet sign in I had No idea about until 4 people showed up and were taken before me. The staff was so rude about explaining the policy. They never looked at me, laughed about my wait and were unmotivated to expedite haircuts. !0 minute breaks in between people! I think this is the worst service I have ever received. Most of the woman in there are always in a bad mood. They never smile and they look at you like your an alien. They try to make you pay for products you don't really need. I take my daughter there every other month to get her hair cut only because its convenient but not anymore. After what happened this last time, forget it. The customer service is the worst I've seen! No wonder people go to expensive places. You get respect!!!!!! No respect shown in this store! read more

I am not from the area, so just stopped in quickly today since I needed a quick trim (bangs and split ends, the usual...) The store was busy, but I still was seen in under twenty minutes. The stylist was friendly; while washing my hair she suggested a wild ginger deep conditioning treatment for $15.00. My hair's been dry, so I thought why not. The treatment actually was great, it didn't weigh my hair down but it felt much better conditioned. It didn't take very long (about 15 minutes) and it was nice to sit under the hair dryer reading a magazine for a little bit. The hair cut was okay--quick, the layers are basic but good, and my bangs came out GREAT! I will definitely go back next month for another trim and deep conditioning treatment. All together, the bill was just $31.50. Sure, not the most trendy salon, but for the price they did a great job and were friendly. For anything uncomplicated, I recommend it! read more
