Date of visit: June 28, 2026…read more My second visit to a Las Vegas-area Great Clips is another five-star visit, I should have moved down here sooner! I will say that the building doesn't have the best curb appeal and I wasn't sure what I was getting into as I approached the salon, but was pleasantly surprised when I opened the door. The time listed on the app for the wait was spot on and I had barely sat down before Jason was ready for me. My haircut is not difficult and Jason handled it quickly and added some nice finishing touches that weren't listed in my Notes. A touch of talc for the loose hair was the chef's kiss on the haircut. While this location was convenient for me today and not necessarily on a regular basis, I would definitely drive a bit farther if this is the type of service that is regularly offered here!

She hacked away at my hair. There should be no reason I have layers by the crown of my head that are 3 inches long when I asked for LONG layers. She mentioned I had such strong healthy hair but now my hair is thinned out with choppy layers I didn't ask for, oh and bangs that are not even and don't even frame my face. I am beyond pissed and will never go back to this salon.

This review is for the manager Mary and a very negligent and apparently ego fragile stylist…read more"Andrea." First of all, I have never seen a more cowardly act by a manager in my 59 years on this planet. My wife who has for years been a customer at this establishment mainly getting her hair colored by an amazing stylist named Milan. For years she has paid to get a hair coloring without experiencing any issues with Milan and on a few occasions other stylists. On the day of the incident she had to settle for a stylist named Andrea because Milan was not available that day. Never having any bad experiences, she thought what the heck and gave her a chance. However, this would not be the case with Andrea, she was unprofessional and actually harmed my wife with her negligence and an unwillingness to listen to the customer's needs. She repeatedly claimed the way Milan whom has successfully colored her hair for years was doing it incorrectly! Andrea and her flawed ego failed the number one ethos in customer service "listen to your customer." She left her with chemicals in her hair way too long and was negligent in her attention to the process. My wife was so upset when she came home with an incomplete hair coloring and burns because of the chemicals left on her head by Andrea. My wife has always rewarded great customer service with great tips and verbal praise. I ask this question: Why for the first time over all the years of being a regular customer was there all of these issues with this stylist? At the moment this was happening our cowardly manager Mary "claimed she understood why my wife was upset and claimed she was out of practice but could possibly help." My wife did decide to leave to mitigate the damage as she was upset and experiencing burns. Weeks later she decided to try to book her regular stylist Milan only to be told that the Ulta manager Mary is banning my wife from coming back even to her regularly scheduled stylist Milan, and stating "Andrea's confidence was shaken by the event" which by the way Andrea caused herself with her ego and negligence!! WTF?? Mary, it is called remedial training in the corporate world and I am not sure that your manager handbook says to ban longtime, loyal paying customers from coming back. I am certain that is probably not what the store owner or corporate Ulta envision as an appropriate course of action or solution to the incident. My wife is a very understanding person and the fact that there has never been an issue over the many years until this incident with Andrea suggests the problem is not with the customer but perhaps with your employee. I am writing this review on my own experience based on what I saw and the incredibly inappropriate decision to ban my wife from her normal stylist Milan. Mary your decision to ban her is a big mistake on your part and I can guarantee you this is not where it ends. I will be diligent in ensuring I have this discussion with whatever form of leadership above you. I am retired with 36 years of service in the United States Military that has nothing but time and motivation to ensure your bad management decisions are held accountable. My wife has no idea that I am writing this review but I do know she is upset and angered by your cowardly management practices and would rather have seen you make the appropriate decision to discuss the situation with her like a rational and competent manager would in order to solve the problem. Respectfully, Daniel Dizacomo

I would really like to give this salon a good rating. But I just can't…read more I've been battling cancer for the last 3 years so I've needed a lot of personal care after surgery, radiation and chemo. I walked into Head 2 Toes a year ago to get my eyebrows done and ask about a pedicure and hair care. I got my eyebrows done and was told the manicurist is there on certain days so I would need to get an appt. That's cool, I'm not expecting to always do a walk-in situation for something like that anyway. However, I did want to get my feet done sooner than they could do it so I asked about getting an appt for getting a hair cut/trim. I made an appt for the following week. Awesome! Unfortunately, I got a text from one of the stylists the day before my appt and she said she had to cancel for personal reasons. I texted her back, "Okay, thank you anyway!". I ended up going to another place. A year later, last Monday, I was getting my blood work done next door to Head 2 Toes and decided to pop in there to get another hair appt with Sherry. The appt was for this Saturday. Awesome! However, I just got another similar text saying she had to cancel the Saturday appt for personal reasons. I will be starting chemo again next week so I wanted to get it done before that so I got on the phone and booked another appt elsewhere. Sherry did text me back to reschedule for next Wednesday but I already got a new appt for Saturday at the same time. So, I would really love to review this place positively but that's too many cancellations. I don't think I'll try them again.

Never Again. If I…read morecould give this place negative stars, I would. The "waiting area" looked like it had been decorated by someone who hates both furniture and human comfort. My appointment was at 2:00. They took me in at 2:27 -- which was generous, considering the stylist spent the first 20 minutes loudly arguing with someone on the phone. My "stylist" clearly skipped the part of beauty school where they teach symmetry, hygiene, and basic human decency. They speak spanish and I couldn't help but feel like they were talking about me or other clients because they kept laughing completing ignoring the fact that I was there. Wouldn't send my worst enemy here--unless I wanted them to cry in public. If this salon was the last place on Earth, I'd let my hair grow into a sentient tumbleweed before coming back.
