Made an appointment with Carmen (as we have gone to Carmen in the past) for 2:00. When I showed up at 2:00 we were told Carmen JUST left! We were then questioned as if we didn't know where WE made our appointment (like "are you sure you didn't book at Supercuts") When she DID get a hold of Carmen, apparently, she wrote down the appointment she made for us on the wrong day and refused to come back to fulfill the appointment she HAD made! No one at the salon would fulfill the appointment! I understand things like this happening, but the absolute refusal to right this wrong in ANY way was shocking! read more

Been going there almost 7 years the person who used to cut my hair started cutting my hair so bad I finally after 8 months or more of the worst cuts I had to quit...I guess she just didn't have the courage to tell me she didn't want to cut my hair. I got the worst haircuts for months don't know what exactly I did..she was bitchy at times so I felt uncomfortable.. well I found the best hairdresser he's attentive, and so nice.. kindness goes a long way.., i'm glad I left. Sorry, this is the worst place I have been to. I asked for a hair cut. She used scissors literally 4 times on my hair, then she took the blow dryer out and started to blow dry my hair. I thought she was going to continue to cut. But that was it. Most of my hair was never touched by scissors and she half blow dried my hair with her hands, scrunching with her fingers, no blowout. When she saw I was disappointed , she was like I can cut it shorter. What about the layers and style, that we talked about? I didn't let her touch my hair anymore. I left crying. Finally got a chance to write a review of this place. Stumbled across this Salon while out and about. I Had a spontaneous moment for a new hairstyle. Although it was busy, I walked in to see if I could get a haircut. I was greeted by the staff who was friendly and very helpful. She introduced me to a stylist her name is Carmen who was able to fit me in that day. Carmen is a sweet heart & a very good hair stylist! I have very thick long black hair & she took the time to share some helpful tips & gave me very good advice about the style & how to maintain my hair! She was friendly and sweet! At the end of my visit I was so pleased with the results of my hairstyle! I loved it! It was lighter, the layers were nicely done & overall a successful visit! Exclamation Salon is decent, especially when needing a last minute haircut in Henderson/green valley. I like that it's not a chain, it sold good products, my cut was $20 and they were able to get me in pretty quick (next day). Ashley cut my hair and she was nice. I have short hair and she did a pretty good job with listening to what I wanted my hair to look like and asked questions. I've been going to a barber shop lately where all they do is short men's hair, so I knew going in I wouldn't be getting a clean perfected barber cut. Don't go here if that's what you're looking for. This place does a lot of perms and longer length hair. One other thing I didn't care for is that the station wasn't swept between haircuts. This creates a more private experience. I have been to Salons where the the arrangement was perhaps rows of "Stations." Often as the person styling my hair had continuous discussion with the surrounding Stylists. The Hair Stylist, Sharon M. is the important asset to the Salon. Carmen was absolutely amazing!! I've never had a stylist make me feel so welcomed, especially as a walk-in. She did my wash and cut in under an hour while also doing color on another client. She let me know before the wash that she would have to jump between the two of us but still didn't rush with me and it turned out awesome! I wanted the layers a little shorter than it is but I am still completely satisfied with the way it turned out!! She may just be my "go to" from now on. I just got my hair cut here. I really liked how it turned out it was a little pricey for me but like I've said before... I'm a cheap-skate. The cut was $30 without a shampoo. My stylist was very nice and she was very comforting to me about my long-hair tangles. I'm not used to spending so much for a haircut, but this is really the first time I've gone to a "real" salon for a cut. I went to this salon to have Shellac applied to my nails for an upcoming vacation. When I called to make the appointment, the receptionist (or whomever) told me that the nail tech keeps her own book and schedule so I'd have to call back another time. When I inquired as to when that would be, she said "Maybe tomorrow?" This should have been my first clue. I shrugged it off and called back the next day and made the appointment with Linda. When I entered the salon, I saw 2 employees. One was cutting hair and the other was chatting with a lady under the round hair dryer. Neither acknowledged me and I just kind of stood there for an awkward minute or so. Linda came out of the nail area and grabbed me and introduced herself; she said it was obvious I was waiting for her. Linda was very nice, but unfortunately she's not a very good nail tech. The website says that Linda "is trained and specializes in Shellac manicures," however, the gel was applied sloppily and inconsistently. The brush broke halfway through application, and she didn't have a spare, so she had to remove all the polish and start over with a new product. It wasn't Shellac and she didn't have a color anywhere near the same as I wanted. She felt badly about what happened, so she did give me a discount. However, the final product didn't look that great and didn't last anywhere near as long as other gel manicures I've had in the past. She sealed the deal with several off-putting and downright offensive comments. I won't be back. read more

Do not go to this salon!!! I went for a haircut with a picture how I wanted my haircut . The stylist and I discussed the length I wanted and how I wanted it cut. She disregarded everything we discussed my hair should been past my shoulder with minimum layers she cut is choppy to almost my chin. When i talked to the owner her entire demeanor was gross saying every stylist rented their stations so not much she could do. After letting her know how horrible the haircut was she at the end of the conversation said what do you want me to do it's already been cut . Tori was great. She cut my hair exactly the way I wanted it. Most people will tell me they cannot do so many layers in my hair cause it's so long and thick. I leaned that this was just laziness cause Tori did it in about 15 mins. I like to dry my own hair so I didn't realize how great of a job she did till I dried and curled my hair at home. On vacation and needed a haircut. On the positive: There was absolutely no waiting time. The stylist was extremely nice and talkative. On the negative: They need to practice fading men's hair. I went in for a faded Mohawk type of haircut. I left with the sides of my head shaved with a column down the middle of the back of my head. Update: I finally convinced my husband to stop going to the mens-haircut-chain in the big-box store parking lot up the street. Thank goodness! He's been getting regular cuts from Ashley, and his hair is (1) a better quality cut in general, and (2) exactly the cut he orders. No missed or weird clipper spots, perfectly even and symmetrical, not too short on top, not too long on the sides, etc. Tough to describe without side-by-side photos, but trust me...it's a world of difference.
