Was looking for a same-day facial, called to get some more information on services. Very rude on the phone. I explained to her I wanted something affordable and refreshing but she told me that I should find another place if I wanted a cheap facial. I was willing to pay full price. I asked if she had any specials. I see that she has a 10% off discount she could've easily said that, but she decided to hang up on me real quick. Service was outstanding and so relaxing. I went in to get the charnel signature facial, best facial I've ever received! I have sensitive skin & acne prone and usually my skin flares up or burns but that wasn't the case here. All the products she used on me were gentle and soothing for my skin. She told me the sources of my acne and talked me through the process of clearing it up. The area was clean and soothing, you get extra blankets if you're cold and listen to relaxing spa music while receiving your service. My favorite parts are the hand massage and neck massage, put me right to sleep!! Also went home with products for my face to help my acne. Definitely going to book again! I found this place via Yelp - I wanted to try a facial someplace other than a casino spa. I've only had 2 or 3 facials in my life and I'm ready to make it a regular routine. I was very pleased with my experience at Charnel Spa. I opted for the signature facial and Nelly was awesome. It is a European facial which I've never experienced. My face felt so awesome and smooth. She also did cold stone therapy and a hand paraffin wrap which were amazing. Also included was a shoulder massage which was my favorite because I had a lot of tension in my neck and shoulder area. Since I was a new customer she gave me a discount and allowed me to do an oxygen facial add-on at the end of the facial, which was a wonderful cool mist of vitamins. Very refreshing. She also uses some machines which she asks first if you would like her to use, I didn't care for the machines too much but everything else was great. I found her to be very knowledgeable about skincare, and she's been doing this a long time. I would definitely recommend her. What a great find! As Nelly pointed out, it can be a bit tricky to find her location at first (make sure you use the correct street name - most cabs will try to drop you off on the main road, which is Rancho Dr, instead of Rancho Lane), but she has put some flags out on the road to try and help you find her. I visited with Nelly for a wax and an eyelash tint, but would happily return to her for a facial as well. Elly is an older European woman full of knowledge and a great bedside manner, and quick, efficient waxing. I really appreciate all that she discussed with me during my waxing session, including suggestions on keeping my skin looking young and how to improve my complexion. Definitely recommend!
