I am usually happy with this Supercuts but then I usually just get a wash and cut. Today I got color and I guess that was a mistake. I wanted a cool blonde and ended up with a warm reddish blonde. I guess I will never get color there again. I will just stick to the cut. Reservation system not accurate. The web said I had an appointment at 1:40 but luckily I called and they said it would be better to come at 2:30. I was seen pretty quickly when I got there at 2:30. Live and learn. read more

Maybe it's the Thanksgiving holiday but when I got here and checked in, I still had to wait over 30 minutes because there were three people ahead of me with reservations and only 3 stylists available. read more

Their check in system is completely useless. They won't let you call ahead to make an appointment, and the system literally comes online at 10:00 am on the dot. I made an appointment to get my hair colored for 10:20. When I arrived, 4 women were sitting there already and I was told that I'd need to wait until 11 am for my appointment. Why have an appointment system in place if they're just going to ignore it? This is how they lose customers. read more

I am giving this salon the full rating because of the excellent way they are handling their business as they reopen following the lock down. Their ability to manage the customer flow and safe distancing and use proper sanitation procedures was flawless and made me feel very safe as a customer. I needed to get my son a haircut and do some wuick shopping and time was not on my side.. I'm little skeptical about these commercial hair chains and dealing with ethnic hair... however, beggars can't be picky. I walked in and just my luck there was not too busy and someone was able to take him. the young lady who took my son was very professionally and understood the look in my eyes and reassured me that she got this. He walked me through the blade numbers to confirm the cut. My son was engaged in the convo with the stylist and was all smiles when she agreed to do a design in his head. I first visited this place three weeks ago n was given a real super cut by one young lady. Second time I walked into the place expecting the same result but walked out with a horrid look. I informed the old lady who was giving me a haircut not to cut it short as I got a haircut three weeks back and asked her to just trim it a bit and clean the sides to give me a neat look. But as my hair was not cut evenly, she picked up the scissors again n chopped it short. I complained but she said no it's looking good on me. She gave me a quick hair wash n never dried it properly. I made an appointment via telephone the day before. The person on the phone confirmed the appointment date and time twice. When I arrived due to Covid a sign instructed me to call before entering. Ok all good so far! When they answer the phone I give them my name and they can't find it. They let me in and start asking did you call this store? Who did you speak to? Are you sure? I really enjoyed Anthony's style of cutting. He was very precise and kept moving my hair around to make sure that it was falling the right way as he cut. You can always rely on Supercuts for a decent haircut in a short amount of time. So when my fiancé kept complaining about his hair, I said "Ok, let's look. There must be one nearby." And sure enough, we found ourselves in West Caldwell a few minutes later. I was a little nervous once I had time to check the reviews -- which was right before my fiancé was called over to the chair! Oops hahahah. I think we were treated very nicely by the two women working that night. No rudeness! They were friendly, greeted us nicely, & worked very efficiently. Sounds like they're fairly busy too; looks like a few people called ahead & two more customers came in while we were there. Oh, and what about his hair? Twenty minutes later, my fiancé came out with a great haircut! His stylist spent a few extra minutes perfecting the cut, & she even trimmed up his brows. We were both impressed with the quality of service & the final product. And the cost ($14) was so much cheaper than NYC prices! Glad that our experience was nothing like the other reviews. Probably my second worst haircut I've ever gotten. The wait wasn't bad. But the haircut was nothing of what I asked for. I told her, only lightly clean off the top, and do a 3,2 fade on the sides. I just got a great haircut from Danielle today. It was my first time, but my sister had recommended this place. I'm the kind of person who enjoys luxurious albeit expensive haircuts. A good scalp massage is one of the things I look forward to every time I get a haircut. But after a lot of attitude at some of the more expensive salons around, I realized I wasn't getting my money's worth and gave Supercuts a try. I have previously tried Hair Cuttery as well but wasn't too happy with the results. I was so pleasantly surprised. Danielle gave me the perfect mix of creativity and listening to what I wanted in designing my cut. I felt confident putting my hair in her hands. She recommended some great products, but wasn't pushy in trying to get me to buy them. In the end, I ended up getting them because she helped me get 50% off!! All in all, I got a great haircut, 2 products, plus a ton of free samples for less than $30 and in about 45 min. Plus, she gives a great scalp massage and is good at small talk. The only issue I had was that I left with a lot of hair on my shoulders and clothes, more than usual from a haircut. But that's nothing that a little swiffer-ing can't handle. Has to be the worst place I have ever been. Last time I went the "stylist" cut my hair and left me with two completely uneven side burns. I just went today and sat there for almost a half of an hour when the wait time was supposed to be about 10 mins. It finally came time for me to go and without checking the list took the lady who came in after me... ZERO RATING!!!!!! Hands down WORST Experience at a hair salon ever!!! I went in just for a trim and I wanted the back of my hair stacked. While in the chair I told the hairdresser LILY I just wanted a trim on the ends in the front NO layers and stack the back. So she stacks my back leaving me with a flip that looked like Florence Henderson from the Brady Bunch and REFUSED to trim the ends in the front. I said please they're very dry and all she kept saying was No No No I won't do that. I have been to other Supercuts in the past & they have always been accommodating, But Lily refused to give me what I asked for. Upon leaving I was told that if I was unhappy, I can return within 7 days for someone to fix it so I returned the following day & was greeted by Lily the same one who cut my hair, asking me why am I back? nobody is fixing your hair bc its fine & she basically pushed me towards the exist, another hairdresser by the name of Sasha came from the back & ordered Lily to go in the back because she was being aggressive.
