So I've been coming here since I was a kid & Their haircuts & styles are verrryyyy.... Not updated or it's something my grandmother would get. I don't really think the stylist keep up with trends here or get classes to show current styles. Came here for an up do for prom, left with a beehive. Came here to tone my blonde hair sandy, left with dark gray hair. Came here for some layers, left with a bowl cut. I love the staff and always loved the salon even when it was in the mall. But if ur looking for something modern I wouldn't come here. My most recent time was probably the last straw. After losing a lot of hair due to medication, It finally grew out enough to get a really nice layered hair cut, That did not happen. I would have rather the stylist tell me she didn't know how to do the haircut and I would have gotten something simpler. I've been wearing wigs ever since or I get really creative with clips and pins to try to style it. Next time I rather pay the $120 I was getting quoted at other salons. At least I know I'll be getting EXACTLY what I would like. Those prices reflect the amount of Training and education stylist get there to make their work flawless. Well lesson learned. read more

WORST SALON EVER. i never write reviews and am not that picky about my hair i usually just get a trim and long layers. didnt think that it was that easy to mess up. be ware the woman with heavy eye makeup and a dirty blonde bob cut. she did my hair horribly. the layers are uneven and i have a weird chunk of hair that is too long in the back and the layers just dont flow and everything is too short and choppy in the front. ive never walked out hating a hair cut since i usually just get my layers trimmed but this haircut was really bad. dont come here. ive been tying my hair up for a week since my cut because im embarrassed or how choppy my hair looks read more

I get my hair done consistently with Yvonne. Not only does she do excellent keratin and takes her time ensuring all the strands of my hair are done correctly, she understands both curly and straight hair looks. Today she colored my hair perfectly to how I wanted it. I presented her with a picture of biolage highlights and she was able to give me exactly what I wanted using my own natural highlights. Horrible service. Mandi the hair dresser started 15 min late, appeared on drugs, dirty, sloppy looking. Turned my hair yellow orange when I asked for blond. Burned my entire scalp. The manager Stacy is even worst. Yelled at me "The customer " when I brought it to her attention. Charged me full price . Every time I go, I am given the same incompetent woman. I tell her that I was short layers in the back and long in the front. She always makes me look like I have a freaking mullet with the back being incredible long and the front being too short. The woman was really rude when I showed her a picture of what I wanted saying that it would not look good when it was a picture of me of a previous haircut I got. Also if you are looking for a trim do not go. They will charge thirty five dollars for a trim. They do this based on how long your hair is and they overcharge. They really are not so great. It is really a hit or miss with this. I got a really amazing haircut awhile ago and came back expecting the same. Unfortunately the woman who cut my hair did a terrible cut. I made an appointment for a CHILD haircut with them. I have been told that it would cost us around $15. My husband took our 11 years old daughter there. He stated that she had 4 pm appointment for a CHILD haircut. Nevertheless, they charged $35 as for an adult... And it does not look good at all. I have been going to this salon for over 20 years. Rosie has been my stylist for all of that time. I always get excellent service even though I don't always make an appointment. For years I went to a high end salon in Manhattan but had to find a new place when I moved to NJ. They do all of the services of a high end salon without the price tag and the staff are always courteous and nice. Rosie makes me look like a million bucks, from color to highlights to cut and blow. I loved this place. I went last night to get my hair done and completely change my look. I was taken in at the last moment to get blonde ombre along with a hair cut and style. I love my stylist that I had and would recommend her to anyone that goes there. She really listens to what you want to look like but she also puts in her own style that she would think would look better than the actual idea. She makes you feel very comfortable and talks to you the whole time. I will be coming back here to get my hair done for my 21st birthday. I never knew my head could also look like a giant dildo until I got my haircut here. Not only did I ask for my hair to be a LITTLE BIT shorter (than 3-4 inches), but I also said that I usually wear it parted on the side, which to the normal person, would probably mean anything but "I came here to look like a skinhead". Instead, the guy took the smallest setting on his electric shaver to my head before I even finished my sentence. Not to mention, he also took extra care on my sideburns, so much so that they are now very noticeably uneven. A monkey tripping on acid, with hands growing out of his ass would have surely done a better job. So, I realize that it's just hair and it will grow back in a few months, but until then I will be embarrassed to walk around outside without a hat. "Professional Hair" haha.. what irony. I could say "hey.. thats what you get for a cheap haircut.." But it wasn't even that cheap. Walked in for a wash and cut a little more than about 2 hours towards their closing time. The hairstylist did NOT listen at all to what I wanted (she even looked a little annoyed I ruined her 'off' time). She barely did any layers like I asked. She was taking so long and working slowly to cutting something that was nothing what I had asked for. It looked eh and boring, nothing of what I wanted. It was a terrible waste of $45 and tip. They think they own the world, but they're all just basic bitches that can't do shit with their lives. Carmen was awful. She didn't listen to anything I said and ruined my hair completely. My one stylist's (Helene) husband's job took them out of State, but she worked with me to find another stylist (Rimma M.), and I've been going to her ever since. The owner (Carlos) is very responsive regarding questions, or if there's any complaints. Because I get blonde highlights, I would not trust my hair to one of those chain styling salons. Some reviews call them "pricey", but it really depends on what you are having done. My sister owned her own salons in So Jersey, and when I told her what I was paying, she thought t was good. I loved my haircut from Professional hair. THe woman who cut my hair was sweet, professional and managed to undo much of the damage I had done from cutting my own har for years. My friends pay close to $100 AND travel into the city to get their haircuts and no one even notices. I get compliments on my hair all the time, and I have to drive about 5 minutes with never a wait.
