I wish I could select negative stars. I got my son a haircut for $26 and my credit card was charged $41. They claim I left a $15 tip which I did not. In order to do that, because it's an odd amount, I would have had to select custom and entered that amount. I can only guess that the employee did it without my consent. I swiped my card and she said thank you and I left without a receipt - I didn't conceive that she would literally steal from me. SKIP THIS POORLY MANAGED PLACE. I left with dead & SPLIT ENDS. I made my appointment for 1:00 pm with Shiai because she had great reviews. I am new to the area and $60.00 for trimming dead ends is a bit high. At Supercuts $27 with a shampoo & full trim. Four stylists working, four chairs full, two of us waiting, when I walked in at 12;45. Shiai finished with her person then at the direction of the manager, she called that person to her chair at 1:15. A buzz cut. I was called and seated for shampoo at 1:25. As we walked to the stylist's chair I saw five waiting, and two of the four stylists leaving for the day. FOR THE DAY. One of them was a manager of some kind because of the instructions she was giving to the remaining two as she exited. My hair is full & shoulder-blade length, layered. Shiai combed it back and cut it straight across. Trimmed my eyebrows and sides even though I did not request it. Shiai rang me up and I was walking out by 1:37. It always takes about 25 min to trim the dead ends, but that's all the dead ends, not only the straight-cut across the back. My hair has never been trimmed like that. Shiai is a great personable stylist but now with seven waiting on two stylists, I understand my 12 minutes in the chair although I don't understand paying full price for what should have been a full trim taking thirty minutes. I did not book my trim at a BARBER SHOP even though that was almost the service they provided here. I felt sorry for the two stylists left standing but more so for the seven waiting. read more

I scheduled an appointment for my teenage daughter who wanted a quick and inexpensive haircut to pay for herself since she had money from her first job. We arrived on time but there was no available stylist. I don't mind waiting but they posted signs all over the benches stating do not sit. I'm assuming they were trying to keep people from staying in the waiting area due to Covid. There was enough room on the 2 different benches to comfortably seat two guests 6ft apart. There was another lady sitting on the floor waiting her turn. My daughter sat on the floor as well. I told my daughter we'd find another location since they lacked common courtesy for guests but she really wanted to get a hair cut without waiting so she decided to stay. I waited in the car for her. I would not come here again. Fear of germs from Covid is not an excuse to make your guests sit on the floor. As if the floor is cleaner. read more

Terrible service... terrible staff. I've had my hair cut a LOT of places in my life.... This place is garbage all around... I had a terrible time here like 5 years ago and swore off of it. So today Ive got not other option and think "well... maybe it's better..." Nope. There's like 8 people waiting when I walk in and ZERO people cutting hair. I say hello politely as I walk in and the sour faced girl at the front desk looks up at me as if to roll her eyes with every cell in her body. I walk up and she hands me a clip board and just says "45min wait." So I ignore her and sign in. I then ask "is no one working today...?" Pointing to the 6 empty chairs and total lack of staff." She says "I said it would be 45mins... we still gotta eat" so I'm like cool... I turn around and there's literally no place to sit because of how many people are waiting. So I go to sit outside the door but wanted her to know I wasn't leaving. I tell her. "I'm just going to wait out front if that's okay?" She doesn't even respond. So I wait like 10mins and pop my head in to see if anything is moving. Even the girl who's at the front is now gone so it's just and empty "salon" with the waiting area completely full. I have really difficult hair . That being said they always o a good job. Alexis is great she took the time to trim down my cowlicks so they would fit my high and tight. And I always have good conversations with the barber/stylist when I come in . I am MISERABLE. I have been growing my hair for YEARS and it was finally at the length I wanted it (below my boobs) and I went in today to get a TRIM. I asked for a few centimeters off. Rachel cut 6 INCHES off of my hair. It's now at my shoulders. When I asked her what the hell she was doing and why she was cutting so much she flipped out on me, yelled at me, and stormed out of the salon, leaving me with uneven hair. Eli, another stylist, was nice enough to fix it for me so that it's all even, but regardless my years of growing my hair out are ruined because it is SO DAMN SHORT. Do not go here. I tried Supercuts in South Park Meadows, our first visit was evident that they don't like cutting kids hair. The older lady was frustrated and rude with my 4yr because he was asking a lot of questions and kept asking if she was done yet. At the end his haircut wasn't clean nor what I asked however, I understood it may have been because she was older (no patience). So next he needed a hair cut I gave it one more chance but with another stylist. To my sadness it was the same. This lady first words were is he going to sit still! My son has been getting his haircut since he was 11 months he knows the drill. Needless my sons sad face said it all. Do not take your child. The last cutting his hair (she looked to be around mid 30's and longish strawberry blonde hair) did not ask him anything about his hair through out the cut to make sure he liked it. She just went on cutting without making sure. Afterwards his haircut was absolutely terrible, the worst i've ever seen. I've come to the conclusion the manager who runs this location either has no leadership skills or simply does not care about customers. You have a line of people waiting well over an hour. One stylist doing hair, one who just went on break with many people waiting on the lobby and someone who checks people in and goes to the back hair wash station and plays on their phone... meanwhile they laugh and giggle telling everyone that walks in the door "it's 1.5 hour wait"... that position for front desk could be eliminated and hire someone to cut hair while you have people take breaks... you all really need a total leadership overhaul read more

I came here this past Monday (9/25/2023) and there was no wait (my lucky day) AND the stylist Curtis was there!! I had him cut my hair 2 years ago at the Supercuts location on William Cannon Bl and it was the best hair cut I have ever had. When I went back to the William Cannon location last year, that store was closed permanently and the search for Curtis was on. I went to every Supercuts in a 30 mile radius looking for him to no avail. So when I saw Curtis cutting hair at the Southpark Meadows location I was so happy I found him again. He did NOT disaapoint. He takes his time to cut your hair just right. I LOVE LOVE LOVE my hair cut. Curtis is an artist and should really have his own salon - he is THAT GOOD!! If you have the privilege of having Curtis work his magic on your hair you will be THRILLED with your look. Nothing makes my day than having a good hair day. Curtis makes that happen. I walked in to Supercuts (South Park Meadows, Austin, TX) at 5:50pm. Within arrival, the clerk indicated that the stylists were not taking any more customers. She also informed me that due to COVID, closing time has changed to 7:00pm. I replied; "that's understood, however with closing being an hour and ten minutes away, I would like to place my name on the list for next in line". With rude response, the clerk asked if instructions were comprehended. Kindly and without hesitation, I requested her immediate supervisor's name and phone number to report my complaint. Not being able to find a name or number, she said; "we have four customers ahead of you and Eli is the only stylist cutting hair". At the time, there were two stylists on the floor and a haircut should not have been a problem. Quickly Eli (seemed to be the main stylist), gave instruction for the other stylist to go home. Looking my way he said, now it's just me, so I'm swamped and will not cut your hair. Not once, was I asked to return and at that time, gladly attend to me or apologize for the hectic day. Instead was refused service. Needless to say, due to poor customer service and lousy scheduling, Supercuts has lost a longtime customer. A One star rating is overly generous. read more

I came in with both of my daughters for haircuts tonight and we were very excited to see Ms. Valentina, who who used to cut our hair at a different business. She cut my 15 y/olds hair and even asked tactfully for my feedback when she wanted it a little short. My oldest, (20), paid for her own cut, but Ms. Valentina gave her a discount on a hair product she wanted. When it came my turn, she cut my hair even better than what I asked her.
