So....it has been over a year since my last haircut. I'd been hacking at my bangs, and just letting the back grow. After nearly choking myself in my sleep, I decided it was time to get it cut. I decided to give this place a try for the first time. Called ahead to be put on the waiting list. When I arrived, there was still about a 20 minute wait, since there was only one stylist. I got a shampoo/cut/style. Stella was great. Super friendly, and listened to me when I told her the problem areas. She believes in actually listening to the clients! Today was my first time visiting Permier Cuts, I felt so confident due to all of the high reviews. I was greeted immediately by Stella. She was very sweet and the salon looked great. I asked for a trim that I desperately needed and some face framing. I didn't realize what my hair truly looked like until I left. Now I'm in tears and so self conscious and now have to try another salon to fix this monstrosity. I wear my hair up 90% of the time and I feel ridiculous and embarrassed. My son has not had a professional haircut since late March and we're slowly (and cautiously) getting back to our new "normal" so today we decided to get him a haircut. Not only was Premier Cuts thoroughly cleaned and sanitized (w/ a professional third party sanitization company notice dated on the door) but their pre-haircut procedure of washing hands, social distancing and overall cleanliness was definitely going above and beyond the standard! Not to mention the transformation in my son's overall look and appearance resulting from a much needed haircut. As an individual that is pretty picky about how my hair is cut, I tend to find one person that does it right, and then go to no one else! I found this person at my local Premier Cuts in Kyle. Monica is a very sweet stylist that I have been using for at least 2 years now. She listens to what you want to have done and then goes to work to achieve that result. She takes her time to do it right and tends to be conservative in her approach, which is great in this business, since you can't put it back once it's cut! Monica will go above normal standards to ensure you are completely satisfied with the end result. I highly recommend her and many of the other stylists at this location. On the rare occasion that Monica is not available, the Mgr. Stella and the other stylists have taken good care of me and my two boys. I like that they have first responder and veteran discounts and offer "Men's Wednesday" special rates weekly. You can also find good coupons on the back of the H-E-B receipts. I recommend that you call ahead and get your name on the list during peak times. It will save you a lot of waiting time!! read more

A simple haircut, with a 4 on the sides and the top long (so I can throw my hair back) and she cut it completely to her request and extremely short on the top. I took my daughter's to get her hair cut today. She's 13 years old and I went in an explained what she wanted LONG layers with side swept bangs. I had to go get my wallet and about 8 minutes later I get a call from my daughter asking if I was almost back. She was upset. When I got in there that woman had BUTCHERED my daughter's hair. She has naturally curly hair which anyone who knows anything about hair will know when you cut it it springs up. But she cut it extremely short and blunt, it doesn't blend even a tiny bit at all. The rest was cut unevenly and way too short. Then she has the audacity to argue with me that "that's what she wanted and you left her." First, she's 13 and not 5. She should be able to sit in a salon chair for a few minutes without me. Second, that woman was supposed to be the professional. I guarantee my daughter didn't say the moment I left "I want my bangs up above my eyebrows." Third, maybe take more than five minutes to cut hair! I was enraged that she sat there and argued. No apology. Nothing. Then they try to tell me how much it cost. I refused. I offered to give them my name and number if they wanted to take me to court but there was no way in hell I was paying for the butcher job! Unless you have VERY easy short, single layered hair, avoid this place like the plague. I admit, I wanted to save some money. But now I will pay whatever it costs to help her out. I feel guilty and she's crying and it will take months for this to grow out. I'm beyond angry and wish I could leave 0 stars. read more

I went to this place 06/02/17 because they have really good reviews. I wanted to get my brows and lip waxed it's really cheap so I thought oh, great! They are good and they're also very affordable. People is really friendly also. So when I first saw the girl that was doing my eyebrows I told her that I let my eyebrows grow for over week and a half so they could give it a good shape (they already had a good shape but they were bushy) and I specifically said "I LIKE THEM THICK". And she said yes, I'll just clean it up! When she finished that she passed me the mirror my eyebrows WERE A MESS! I can't even describe how bad they look. She several time asked me if I liked them and I said yes. I didn't want to make her feel bad because she was nice. I paid and left. I left I got into my car and I looked closer and they were random hair around my eyebrows that she didn't waxed, you can tell she doesn't have experience AT ALL I remember her saying that she was really bad when she first started doing brows and bragging about how good she is now.(?) funny. When I got home and my husband saw me he literally said "wtf happened to you??!" And then I knew it looked worse than I thought! Ladies know that man don't really notice about things like that but when they do then they're pretty bad! I called them and explained what happened, I was pissed and embarrassed about going out with different shape brows. And also I had a wedding that night. My husband went and they returned my money back. But I wish I could shut this place down because I'm sure I'm not te first person that goes through something like this. It was all right. I feel like there was a lacking of clean up. There was no brushing off... There's was no blow dry to eliminate cut hair... I got home to shower after the cut and had to trim around my temples due to the longer hair that remained... It was ok, I guess it did get me to go to HEB for the things that I'd forgotten... They were very friendly and there was no wait, but my hair is an absolute mess. I hate it so much. I asked for a trim and that I ended up losing over 2 inches of hair. There's a weird layer at the top that does not blend and has to be smoothed down or it looks like I've got a bowl cut (I have shoulder length hair). You could tell she wasn't cutting evenly when she kept going back and cutting each side and checking the length. I have this two inch wide clump of hair on both sides of my face that are an inch shorter than everything else and its cut straight across making it super obvious that it does not belong. I went here because of the good reviews but I won't be back. They were very friendly, but this is one of the worst haircuts I've gotten on a long time. I've had the great pleasure of getting my haircut at this location for the last six months. The staff is always amazing only polite and helpful, even though they stay busy they stay fully engaged with all their guests. You are able to get any style of haircut completed with professionalism and accuracy. They are even happy to rinse your hair after it has been cut at no charge, leaving you free to go about your day. Most recently I was taken care of by their amazing manager, Stella, talk about a rockstar manager. I'm not a huge review author for the various businesses. However, when a business or its employees stand out (for better or worse) it's important to at least say something. For the last few years my family and I have employed friends of the family to cut our kids hair. These friends are professionals, yet make it convenient by clipping our hair when visiting us. Recently, we decided to go to Premier Cuts because we couldn't get a cut for the family when it was convenient for us. Good move on our part. The hostess, Larissa, was very kind and helpful. Smiling first impressions helped to ease our decision to venture away from "friends of the family" haircuts. Our friends who co there regularly recommended we try Stella. Good move on our part again. Great haircuts, great service, friendly conversation. Needless to say, we have been going there now for a year. We haven't had a bad experience yet and hope we don't. We still see the friendly smile of Larissa, and the great service and haircuts by Stella. The prices are even better than the "friends of family" discounts we got from our friends who previously cut our hair. All in all, I would recommend giving it a shot. We will not be returning and I will personally make sure to share what a terrible establishment this is to anyone who will listen. I don't know the name of the girl who wrecked my child's hair but I wish I did. She had the worst attitude and didn't even bother to apologize. I took my 18 month old here for his first haircut today, and it went great! He was on the verge of breakdown so I was worried but these ladies were total pros. I was able to get in immediately and they had the precious airplane chair available which redirected him so quickly, Despicable Me was on the tv and He was good to go. She asked if I'd like to save some if his hair, as it was his first cut, and then they gave me a sweet certificate. The hair looked really good and is what I asked for, too. I'm new to the Kyle area and looked on Yelp to find a good affordable salon where I could get a quick haircut a couple days ago. I arrived and waited about 20 minutes or so (it was a holiday so I understand why it was busy there with all the kids being off from school. I had called ahead but they said they do not take appointments. Walk-ins only) I am very low maintenance with my long hair and just wanted to trim off about 3 inches or so and cut off all of my split ends. Brittany was very nice and provided a quick yet thorough consultation about what I wanted and how I usually wear and take care of my hair. She made sure to ask a few times along the way how I wanted my layers done in the front and the back which I appreciated. My hair felt smoother and softer when all was said and done. It felt a bit rushed towards the end because a customer had walked in half way through my cut and was waiting for Brittany to cut his hair, but overall and for the price I liked my haircut. My fiancé liked it also. The salon could use a good cleaning on the floors and under the work stations but nothing overwhelming. The salon had some nice decor. They have a coupon on their website that I showed the receptionist/cashier on my phone but she said it needs to be printed out to be valid so they can keep it for their records.
