Sometimes I have to wait in the waiting area for my turn and every haircut and style that comes out of Kim's chair always looks great! First time going there. Their "appointment" time is a joke. The website doesn't say anything about it being a suggested time you get there like some restaurants. So I assumed we booked an appointment. The lady checked us in. Another family walked up and asked if her son was next. The employee said yes. 15 min after our appt time she takes the other family back. She's confused when the other family said they had 3 cuts and she said oh I looked at the wrong one but took them back anyway. We just left, not waiting for 3 more people to get cuts when it was already past our appointment time. read more

I'm giving two stars because my stylist was incredible. I always get great customer service and am happy with my cut most of the time. Today I went in and decided to bring my child, emphasis on child. While my hair cut was getting finished, another stylist sold product to my child. I'm not going to call them out, but I'm very upset. They got him to use his allowance to spend 13.00 on gel. He may be able to use his money and I respect that. Here's what I don't respect. Not demonstrating product to me first or let me look at it to see if any ingredients are harsh for his scalp. Not asking me if he can purchase it. Nada. Signed up online. I got there and there was one lady cutting someone's hair. When she finished, she went in the back and ate lunch. Another lady came in that worked there. I have been coming to Cost Cutters for a few years and it is wonderful! My son gets exactly what he wants (no more screaming his hair was hacked!) He is always extremely happy with his cuts! Yay! Thanks to Summer! For myself, I have always been treated exceptionally well each and every time I walk in! Cheri has so much knowledge and can do anything with my hair! Being a cancer survivor I was a little nervous, however, she knows exactly what to do for me! Love her! My other hair stylist is also Summer who is sweet as can be! Its like a mini vacation when I get to visit with her! She also cuts my hair as I love it and I had my hair colored this week - to perfection! I went in with an idea, a few pintrest photos and walked out like a million bucks! I always purchase the 3 for 33, which come in real handy because my son needs a hair cut every few weeks to stay in regulation for ROTC! It is such a value for us! It's so hard to find a good hair stylist but when you do you better shout from the rooftop. I have always wanted to let my hair grow to see how it would be and I hated it so one day I decided to stop by Cost Cutters in Buda and I'm glad I did. I walked in and got to see someone right away. I got a very nice gentleman named Raymond. I have seen him before when I am in there with my husband and thought he was a barber but boy was I wrong. He gave me the best haircut I have had in years. I was going there to Ramon for haircuts which I lIked a lot. I asked could he give me a body wave. He didn't want to do it so he asked one of the girls to do it. She used the smallest curlers and left it on too long. It ruined my hair. I had to go to JC Penney's to get it back in condition. It took several trips for cuts and conditioner. I would not go back since Ramon did not care enough to see that his regular customer was taken care of! read more

This is a horribly ran business. I have never been treated the way I was. I had to go twice and my hair looks horrible and corporate will refund or give me another chance to get it fixed but this woman couldn't understand what angled meant and got this huge attitude with me and ripped off the cape thing and before that wanted to get into personal things that she knows nothing about and be rude and completely disrespectful. I feel that corporate could care less and they should refund my money and fix this. I had already wasted my time twice to walk away looking like shit and treated like shit. Great service from crystal, very thorough, and friendly. Tuesdays and Thursdays are 10$ cuts, went on a Wednesday, worth the extra.

Will never recommend. I decided to schedule a color service this morning, and all was great! I decided to show up early because let's be honest who likes a late client? I sure don't. So I arrive 20 minutes early ( mind you I live in San Marcos) , to be told by the receptionist the stylist that does color doesn't work today and that she was going to call me? Ummmm hello? Why wasn't I informed immediately and dealt with first. Waste of gas and a waste of my time. The scheduling and organization really needs to get it together. Will never recommend. read more

I visited Cost Cutter in Buda for a Race weekend at the Austin Grand Prix Formula 1 Race in October. I only had a short time to get my hair done and called for an appointment. I was visiting from out of Town and wasn't familiar with any of the Salons in the area, but knew cost cutters is reliable. Allison was my stylist and did a great job. I went in for a cut and I told her the way I wanted it she totally cut it way shorter then what I wanted and she just cut it straight across after I told her make it look how it looks now just a little shorter my hairs was in the v shape how do you go from v to straight will not be going back here also my hair is uneven go to go somewhere else to fix it read more
