I booked an appointment for my daughter a week ago. They called me today to tell me the stylist was sick, and they needed to schedule my daughter with another stylist. I am so grateful for Brittany M she takes such good care of me and my hair. I have a standing appointment with her every week to wash and blow dry my hair. My hair has never looked better and she has trained and styled my hair so on the 7th day it still looks great and doesn't feel oily or dirty. I was in desperate need of a hair cut and having a hard time finding someone. I stumbled upon this salon and looked at the hairstylist's instagram pages and picked a gal named Jenna. Her stuff looked good so I made an appointment. The building is 100 years old. It has its original charm and character along with an updated color palette inside. All the employees I encountered were very friendly. I was greeted with a welcome envelope with some coupons and offered a beverage while I waited. My stylist Jenna was so friendly and warm, I felt as if I had known her for a while. She cut my hair exactly as I asked and I couldn't be more thrilled. after and before getting my hair done at LMK! my hair was so gross and chaotically orange! the results by Brittany was so jaw dropping! i never cried happy tears until i sat in her chair! my overall experience was simply amazing! the atmosphere is comfortable with upbeat tunes! i was impressed as soon as i was offered soda with a glass?! the staff makes you feel welcomed and loved! i am grateful my first experience with my new stylist, Brittany. we immediately clicked! we we talked and laughed as if we knew each other for years! Don't skip this place when you're searching local for a hair salon. The vibe is fun, energetic and eclectic. The space is several rooms but still feels open and has lots of natural light. Decor very tasteful with colorful furniture, bright white walls and lots of great plants which are way healthier than I can keep my house plants. The stations, chairs, mirrors, hair washing stations etc seem high end and not worn or stained which seems to be the norm. I'm not an easy customer but Dasha did everything she could to give me the style I was looking for and I couldn't be happier. Everyone I encountered was professional but not too serious. While searching for a new stylist in the area, I stumbled upon LMK and decided to give them a chance. When I called to make the appointment, I asked the receptionist about a certain stylist, she spoke quite negatively and unprofessional about her. I regarded this as very unusual and immature. I needed a haircut, so I then selected another stylist and booked the appointment with Tiara, who was absolutely charming and did an excellent job with my cut and style. Upon looking at my receipt I noticed that the salon is charging customers a fee for the "staff's medical insurance". This salon, by no means is inexpensive. The fact that the owners are pushing off their responsibility of providing insurance for their employees is deplorable. Business owners should not take advantage of customers to pay for their financial responsibilities. These fees should be considered illegal. Shame on LMK read more

Went here hoping for the best given the reviews. Went in after 8 months of not getting anything done to my hair due to having a baby and not having time for it. So, I was excited to finally being able to get my hair done. Lacie was my hairstylist, I asked her for all over color, balayage and a haircut and even showed her a picture of the shade I wanted for my balayage. At the end of the service I was disappointed with the results. It was almost as if the balayage never happened. There was little to no contrast between the all over color and balayage. Pretty much looked like I had dyed my entire hair brown. She advised to wait and see it in the day light since my service took place in the evening and "lighting" was not great in the salon and also said that since I only got 10 balayage strips that this was to be expected. 10 or 100 strips, I should still be able to differentiate the balayage from the all over color. She then told me to call the next day if I was still unhappy with it and she would get me right in. Sure enough I called the next day and they advised me to text her directly, so I did just that. She scheduled me to come in and when I get there she tells me that in order to fix my hair she was going to have to add more balayage strips for an additional fee. Mind you I had already paid $456 for my service. First of all, from experience when you go in for a correction there is no cost BUT if she knew that was going to be the case why not disclose that beforehand so I could make the decision of coming in a second time or not. I took time out of my day, had to figure out child care only to be told that I had to pay more if I wanted my hair fixed! She even talked to her manager and they both came up with the same "resolution" to the fail of service she offered. Of course, I left without getting anything else done. If she couldn't get it right the first time around why would I waste more of my money in hopes of a better outcome. DO NOT come here unless you want to gamble your money away and have someone waste your time. Worst service ever!!! read more
