I have held off for many years from going to a salon due to a horrible experience I had. I found this salon online. I needed my hair taken care of, so I took the chance. This was the absolute best choice for a salon. I met with Joselyn, and from the beginning, she walked me through everything. I have fragile, thin, and curly hair. She stated she was going to do a dry cut. I was so scared to have another disaster. When this was all said and done, I have NEVER seen so many curls in my hair. This salon is incredibly easy to book with and the staff are all really friendly. Bella was my stylist twice now and done a phenomenal job of helping me figure out what would look best on my hair based on my inspiration, explaining the process what will be happening to my hair, and making sure I am comfortable and happy during and after. I'm especially happy about the fact that despite other stylists I've been to before, Bella was able to keep my curls intact, bouncy, and healthy, with no damage whatsoever. The salon is very cute and cozy, in a more comfortable setting than the average salon. Even the prices are very reasonable and affordable. I will continue coming here from now on! read more

I called to schedule an appointment. The receptionist told me that the hairstylist would text me asking for photos of my current hair and to also send what I want. I called the salon again hours later stating that I had not received a text and I wanted to make sure that I still had an appointment and that they had my phone number. The receptionist assured me I had an appointment and I would be contacted. I got the text and sent photos and waited for a response. 45 mins later after I was already driving to the appointment, the hair stylist said she could not give me the haircut I wanted (I completely understood and it was kind of her to tell me) but I was told I no longer had an appointment. I called the salon and they said unless you get a confirmation text and email from squarespace, you don't have an appointment. I was not told this when I initially scheduled the appointment. However, everyone I spoke to was very pleasant and kind, and I understand that miscommunication happens. I appreciate the salon reaching out to me. read more

Since she is out on maternity leave and i was in desperate need of a color retouch and cut I chose to have Allison do my hair this time. I hate to have to write this, but I was misled by all the positive reviews on Yelp. Today I became fed up with my dry, dead ends and called in to K's to see if there was any availability. They were able to get me in the same day. I was about 10 minutes early for my appointment, so they seated me in a room with my stylist and the client she was working on. It was awkward to be sitting in the same room like that, but I digress. When it was my turn, I showed my hairstylist pictures on my phone of the style I would like and showed her with my hands how much length I wanted taken off. There seemed to be a language barrier because she asked me what part of my hair I wanted short, and in the picture I showed her, the hair was the same length all around, just with layers. I even showed her more pictures to clarify what I meant. So I'm sitting in her chair and it feels like she has cut too much off, but the way she has me angled in the chair, I can't see the mirror. The whole time she is cutting my hair, I never once saw the mirror. I'm in the chair for about 5 minutes when her next appointment shows up an hour early and sits in the room with us. Still awkward sitting directly across from your stylists next client. All in all, I gave the place two stars, one for getting me in on the same day and one because I think had there not been a language barrier, I might have left with the cut I asked for. I asked for a long, straight bob and what I got was a short, angled bob. It's too short to be fixed at this point. To make matters worse, the haircut cost me $40, and I really don't think it was worth $40 when I did not get what I asked for. I could have had the same haircut from a cheaper place, but I was willing to spend more to make sure I got what I wanted. Very disappointed. read more

Where do I start... I got some undue courage from YouTube and thought I can Ombre my hair. Guess what, I CAN'T! I called around frantically trying to find someone who could fix the orangey mess I had made. Kellee was able to get me in the next morning, And to be honest I was a little leery of going to a new salon for the first time ( like it could have been ANY worse then what I did ). I was prepared to have to go one basic color and cut it all off to " start over", but after talking to Kellee, she was confidant that she could fix this. It took a good amount of time, which I was more then happy to give her, and she had my hair looking AMAZING. Not only did she fix what I did, but it looked better then I could have imagined! I'm so glad that screwed up my hair, because if I hadn't I would not have met my new stylist.
