Lori is amazing! I went in for my usual cut and color but she talked me into something a little different and I LOVE it! She did an asymmetrical cut and added some fun orchid color on the ends. Lori is my fave! I keep telling all of my friends to go see her so I might as well tell all you strangers on the interwebs. I would only regret this if I felt that I could somehow influence a ton of people through Yelp and it started clogging up her schedule, making it difficult for me to get an appointment.... Lori is really good at listening and recommending ideas for my hair. I am at a place in life where I want something simple and she has always given me exactly what I had hoped for (in spite of my poor communication skills when it comes to hair styling). Somehow she manages to give me something incredibly stylish in spite of the fact that I am lazy and unable to devote a lot of time to fixing my hair in the morning. She stays on top of trends, and cares about providing her clients with styling products that do not contain toxic chemicals (which is a big deal to me). So about a week ago, I decided I needed to do something to my drab, lifeless hair. I searched on here, and I found Lori with her amazing $30 deal and immediately purchased. I redeemed my voucher yesterday and received the best haircut I've ever had! I've been searching for one single styllist to go to anytime I have hair issues (which is quite often), and I found her. Lori was so personable, and I fully put my trust in her the second she sat me in her chair. I didn't really know what I wanted or needed to do with my weird tresses. And, I'm not just saying they're weird, she specifically told me she's never seen anyone's hair fall the way mine does, just my luck. I must say, that despite the reviews, I thought the Peacock was a little dry and overcooked- and no way in Hell is this invasive bird could possibly be locally sourced. Oh wait, sorry Lori! This is about hair. When I find someone who can cut my bushel of cowlicks, and whip it into something groovy and manageable- I stick with them. Lori is a fantastic stylist (that sounded sooo canned, I know) but is also a warm person with a great vibe and wit. That counts alot in my book. Lori is amazing! I found her on yelp and got lucky! I have really thin hair and she gave me the best haircut and color. She has great tips on how to deal with flat limp hair like mine. I recently had a baby and my hair fell out by the clumps. She put extensions in about a month or two ago and I LOVE them! It only took a little over an hour to install and they have been very easy to maintain. If you like to have fun with your hair and try new styles I would suggest using Lori for extensions! read more

Lori made me beautiful yesterday!! She gave me an A+ cut and a C+/B- highlight. The layers/bangs were exactly what I wanted in the cut and she really listened to what I was looking for. I couldn't give an A for the highlight, only because the the dye didn't take in my hair as much as I would have liked, but maybe yours will be different. I felt comfortable with her and her skills and walked out looking/feeling like a million bucks, but no having to pay anywhere near that much :-) Though I don't live in the area, if I did Lori would be my new stylist. I have been going to Lori for about 3 years, and have never been disappointed by the results! I saw the reviews, and since Peacock Salon is right around the corner & I was in search of a new hair stylist, I decided to give Lori a try. I told her what I've been trying to accomplish with my previous stylist, but was never done to my satisfaction. Lori gave me a great cut, and she thinned out my hair, so the layers really work. I love it, and am still ecstatic about my cut 3 weeks later. I only gave Lori 4 stars because she really didn't style my hair as well as I would've liked.
