Decent amount of seating. Reasonably priced, has a bathroom. Cons: parking. There is some in front, and on the side streets, but it's chalkstone, so it's almost always packed. Breading was a bit thick, but that could just be personal preference. Additional: They sell desserts as well. We got the lava cake, pretty good. Additional: they also sell empanadas

RI Food Fight- Lord of the Wings 2025 Review:…read more First time at TD Chicken! When we walked in, immediately received a nice greeting from the cashier welcoming us. I noticed it was 1. modern and 2. clean. (But I also noticed that there are 2 steps as soon as you walk in- just a heads up.) Our order: Thai Chili wings 1 ham & cheese empanada Water juice diet coke Cheetos And it only cost $6 (Keep in mind we had the wing coupon) But it's also 2025 and I LOVE that they are not price gorging the customer! 1. The empanada: 2 were in our bag! I liked their empanada. Cooked just right. The ham was tiny little cubes and it wasn't oozing with cheese that it's messy. It was just right! 2. The wings: I liked the wings. I do think they aren't fresh but if they were in my neighborhood I would order from them every so often. The thai chili was standard. The owner walked in. Another super friendly greeting! He was super chatty and I learnt that they have only been open for 6 months. I also learned that they have a few more flavors not currently posted on the screen- so ask! Overall: I am rooting for this place!

Chubs has been on my list for quite awhile and we finally made it there today. Wow, this place is…read moregreat! All of our food was delicious, the employees were super friendly and helpful, and the restaurant seating area was pleasant, attractive and very clean. We ordered a pulled pork sandwich, a pastrami sandwich and a half rack of baby back ribs. Both sandwiches were excellent, but the ribs really stole the show. They were well seasoned and so tasty, but better yet, they were extra, extra tender. We got two sauces on the side - rib juice sauce and the regular bbq sauce and I especially liked all of the herbs and seasonings in the rib juice. The ribs were some of the best I've had in this part of the country and I'm very glad we went to Chub's today.

I've had the pleasure of stopping in twice now, once for the Rhode Island Food Fights' Lord of the…read moreWings and again for RIFFs' The Best Sandwich RI competition. Both times, Chub's delivered in a big way. Pull up and you'll immediately spot their massive smokehouse on the side of the building, which is a converted trailer that means serious business. Parking is plentiful. Inside, the restaurant is warm, inviting, and spotlessly clean. The staff were genuinely helpful and professional on both visits, the kind of team that makes you feel like a regular even on your first stop. On the first visit I went with the Ghost Pepper Sauce on the wings. They were crispy, perfectly smoked, and surprisingly approachable heat-wise. Not a face-melter, just beautifully layered flavor. I paired them with the Sweet Pete's Pulled Pork Sandwich and Grandma's Baked Beans, and honestly? Both were fantastic. The pulled pork was tender and perfectly smoked, and those baked beans had that homestyle depth that's nearly impossible to fake. On visit two I ordered the Blue Pig Sandwich and a half pound of Brisket. The sandwich was great, but the real showstopper was the Brisket. It was super moist with a bold peppery rub that had clearly been earned through hours of patience and smoke. This is the kind of brisket that makes you go quiet mid-bite. Chub's Blue Pig BBQ is, without question, one of the best, if not the best, BBQ spots I've hit in all of New England. It's the real deal: proper smoke, serious technique, and food that genuinely delivers on its reputation. I'll absolutely be back, and I'm bringing reinforcements next time. Highly, enthusiastically recommended.

Everything about this place rocks…read more The base menu has some of my favorite go to items, but they're constantly keeping the lineup fresh with creative new rotations. While I can't say I've absolutely loved all of the seasonal specials that come out of the kitchen, they hit the mark enough times to keep me coming back to try the new ones. Servers are friendly, capable, and food comes out quick. I've probably been 30+ times and never am disappointed.

After reading the stellar reviews, we decided to try CHOMP Kitchen and Drinks on Mother's Day…read more Since it was late, we ordered dinner to go. We both ordered the Classic Smash Burger, one with cheese and one without. Unfortunately, both burgers were utterly tasteless, with virtually no seasoning detected at all. The Chomp Sauce that was supposed to elevate the burger was so sparse it barely made an appearance, leaving the burgers bland. Honestly, the bun was the best part. The brussel sprouts I ordered also lacked flavor and seasoning aside from the char, and his Cajun fries were so salty they were nearly inedible. After driving from Massachusetts to Rhode Island as a special Mother's Day treat, it ended up being a very disappointing experience, especially given the overwhelmingly positive reviews. We may have caught them on an unusually busy night, but unfortunately our meals fell far short of our expectations.

Providence's own version of CHEERS…read more I've been here several times now and consider the Ivy Tavern to be the best bar in Providence. The customers are all super nice, unique, and interesting humans. Moreover, the staff of AAJJMO --- Alex, Allen, Josh, Julia, Mike, and Olivia --- are incredibly friendly, witty, and funny. The cocktails and food are also outstanding - I especially recommend the bimbap bowl, fish and chips, korean wings, and burger. You will also find the service to be top notch. The bartenders/servers gird up their loins and exhibit extreme hustle during peak hours, while still being able to charm you with a wink or a joke as they move from table to table. If you have not been to the Ivy in the past few years, I highly recommend it. Since Allen was hired as manager a few years ago, the place has become one of Providence's hidden gems.

Rating: 3.5 stars…read more The food was good, but not worth the price. The burger didn't taste like anything special and the bun just tasted like it was pulled right from the store-bought bag. Similarly, the fries were definitely from a freezer bag of french fries and barely had salt or pepper. Basically it tasted like what you'd have at like a backyard cookout? TLDR: fine, but it shouldn't cost $18 + tip. For this price I expect a nice toasted bun & homemade fries & a bit more flavor. They also messed up my order which is not a big deal but the waiter came back to the table to confirm my order and when he repeated it back, he had the temperature and the cheese wrong. It was then brought to me with tomato but no lettuce-- I had asked for lettuce with no tomato. The waiter was nice though!
