Just ok - it was recommended to me by a friend - but nothing special. I called a week early to make an appt and somehow it was missed, so rather than lose the business (I guess) they rushed me through and did a mediocre job at a gel manicure. Cuticles are especially bad. Sitting now in the pedicure chair with no end in sight... Plenty of other places to try - I doubt I will be back Update - cuticles are worse than I thought, now that I got home and took a closer look. This salon has the rudest owner and employees that I have ever met in my life. Only two employees Were polite and nice. I went with my husband and they cut his toe and he had to go to a doctor and start taking antibiotics. The cut was so bad and deep. I would never ever go to the salon again. My sister and I are visiting from Jersey and are always very skeptical about nail salons that we don't know. After looking at reviews, I figured we'd give Super Star Nails a shot. After going, I'm extremely glad that we did! We were about to go to an expensive salon to make sure that we got great service but wound up doing so at half the price. The place was clean, the staff was great, and it was a very different experience from the local salon in NJ. The woman that greeted us, who may have been an owner? was extremely professional and beyond nice. She made sure our pedicure tub was the right temperature, and even offered us a cold drink- something that was so normal for her that we would rave about to every person we knew at home because of how unusual it is for a little salon. The guy that did my pedicure, Tan I believe (I apologize if I got that wrong but it's been a few days) was gentle, put my recliner back, and almost had me fall asleep during my massage I was so comfortable! My sister's tech went back several times just to make sure everything was absolutely perfect, as well. I would definitely recommend it to anyone that's staying in Naples. This was the most disgusting nail salon I have ever visited. Me and my friend wanted to walk out half way through, it was that bad. We saw them reuse the nail polish remover. After soaking my nails in the remover to remove my shellac manicure, the manicurist then sucked it back up the tube to use again. Gross. Also, it was not worth the $17 for a regular manicure. The manicurist then asked "how much do you want to give me?" referring to a tip, which she did not earn. Theres also a bin of brushes labelled "used brushes" next to the sink, which leads me to believe they will be used again and not thrown out like they should be. I was visiting the fam in Florida and needed my nails done b/c I had taken my gel nails off. Checked out Yelp (duh), and found this place. Saw Sam, and he put on a very nice set of Pink and Whites. He also told me that I should switch from gels to acrylic b/c #1 - Gel would burn like hell and #2, my nails would do better with acrylic since the gel nails kept coming off in less than two weeks. Visiting from CO and wanted to get my nails done before heading home. I went in without an appointment and did not have to wait at all; though moments later several people came in after me and it got busier. The service I received was good and I loved my manicure. Plenty of colors to choose from, several nail stations, and a nice nail drying area. I would certainly go again if I lived here or visited again. read more

I'll start by saying DO NOT GO HERE TO GET YOUR NAILS DONE!!! I've been getting my nails done nearly my entire life and I've never had an experience that was this bad, professionally and otherwise, EVER. To start this review, I called ahead to see what they charged and if I needed an appointment for an acrylic fill (nails) and a toe nail polish only. The lady I spoke with, whom I assume was the owner, told me it was $35 for the fill and $15 for the toe nail polish only and that I didn't need an appointment for either. I should mention that I had never been there before, but my regular salon was closed as it was a Sunday, and I needed them done that day as I was flying out the following day for vacation. So... I arrive about 30 minutes after calling, and the owner, who I confirmed with her that she was in fact the person I spoke to, takes me to her table and started on my nails. I explained to her that I needed a fill, and that I liked the current length, and the current color, but that she could trim them a little shorter then we agreed on the closest color she had to match. Well, she started by removing the old polish with the dremel, then proceeded to sand them down so much to where they were so thin I thought, okay maybe she will put a thick coat of gel on top next. But instead, she put the lightest coat of gel on top. I asked her several times, can you please put more gel on top, that's the way I like it, to which her response was "that's not how we do it." "You will see, you will like them once I paint them." So as she was doing this, she had people walking in as well as people coming in with appointments and NO open nail techs, which of course now caused her to rush. While my gel was drying (I guess?) she took me back to the pedicure area and rushed through painting my toes then hurried me back up front to finish my 'fill'. Once we got back up front I asked her, again, PRIOR to her starting to paint them, "if I don't like how they look with the paint on can you PLEASE add more gel, to which she said 'yes'. Okay, I thought to myself, now we are getting somewhere! She painted ONE nail and just as I thought, they looked as if they hadn't even been filled! I said wait, I want more gel on my nails these are unacceptable, to which she said "no, honey, this is how we do them here and I have to add a second coat of paint, you'll see". So, After begging multiple times, I reluctantly let her finish them, and, as she rushed painting them, I thought, people need to know NOT to go here. They do a terrible job, they were impolite, understaffed for how many appointments and walk ins they had that day, and to top it all off, they didn't do a simple thing that I asked them for, to add more gel so that they actually LOOKED filled... you know, the REASON people get their nails done in the first place!! I've never wrote a bad review before, actually I downloaded Yelp JUST to write this review... so people don't experience the awful service I received. read more

I came from Miami on a girls trip to have a mani-pedi. We were greeted very nicely and the location was clean. I should've known better when they did my shellac when one nails was not completely set and lifting on the side. On another finger, they only put shellac mid nail. They corrected it when i asked but still for the price it should've been perfect. Mani and pedi was 60.00. To makes matter worse the nail has a bubble and the shellac manicure did not last two weeks. Too bad i live far if not i would've gotten it fix. Bottom line: if its a quick mani and pedi you're good! Stay away from shellac! read more

They completely ruined the fill I was supposed to have done. Cut my nails down all the way when I asked for a small amount shaved off, then filled with acrylic when I repeatedly told him I had gel nails. After he sloppily painted my nails with normal nail polish (when I had asked for shellac), I was basically yelled at when I got up from the drying station to go payI had to pay $17 which was wasted because I went and got them fixed at Lee spa nails on 951 read more

I went to this place for pink and white acrylic nails. Benny did a good job - not the best I've had but certainly not the worst. Nails are a big thicker than I'm used to. The only complaint I had was the cost was supposed to be $45 and they charged me $50. When I asked he told me it was because I had them buffed at the end instead of the gel on top. I don't get that. Buffing took about 2 min and the gel takes longer and there is product involved. Thought that was wrong. read more

Superstar Nails was fantastic. Went there after a bad experience across the street. I actually made an appointment at TK Nails at 1pm for myself and my daughter for pedicures. Visiting Naples from out-of-town, we got a little lost looking for the place and walked in 5 minutes late. The guy at the front called out to a woman toward the back who was doing a pedicure, and she said something to him - then he rudely said "We have no time for that anymore." I said how about just for my daughter, not me anymore - and I was sorry we were 5 minutes late - and he said no. I persisted a bit and he said we could come back later and looked away like he was done talking to us. There was almost no one in the place. Everyone was incredibly rude. In the end I am so glad that we didn't give them our business. Instead we went to Superstar Nails across the street, where they were super welcoming. The gentleman who greeted us even pointed out new polish colors that just arrived. The women (a lovely lady from Albania and a woman named Michelle) who did our pedicures were incredibly friendly and did awesome work with our feet and nails. The nail technician never introduced herself. She barely spoke during the whole mani-pedi except to say "pretty" to both my polishes but she did speak to the other technician in another language quite often. She bumped 2 of my nails together and smudged one then just polished over it so they took forever to dry with so much polish. Then when she sent me to the dryer she did not turn on the switches so I got another smudge when I had to turn on the fans myself because she had gone off to the back to start a new customer. When will they learn to do the manicure first then the pedicure so the fingernails dry so you can drive home!? The best part was when I went to pay and they tried both of my bank cards and announced that one was declined ( I told them this was wrong because I had plenty of money in the bank)and the other was not going through but it was their machine's problem so I paid in cash, luckily I had just enough! When I got home and checked my bank accounts BOTH OF THE ACCOUNTS HAD BEEN CHARGED SO THEY RECEIVED PAYMENT 3 TIMES FOR A VERY BAD MANICURE! I am now working with Chase to stop both the charges, I did call Super Star Nails to tell them that they had charged me and the woman said that she knows her machine does not work correctly and they would not accept the payments! Then stop using the credit card machine! How many people who do not thoroughly check their accounts are being charged double? I will try again to find a reliable, decent place to get my nails done in Naples, I am done with this place. If you do try bring cash! read more

Clean efficient and always pleased ....my nail shellac lasts 2 months with french manicure ....I have been coming to this salon for over 10 years have never had a bad experience . I admit when I relocated and went to Salons in Fort Myers as recommended by coworkers and told me were fantastic . Disappointed does not even cover it I realized that the bar was set by Super Star Nails and I then traveled back to Naples . I go here to get my fills and pedicures. They do a great job. Today, I had a terrible time. It was Father's Day so a woman with her husband and her two daughters come in for a pedicure. Four chairs next to each other were not available, so the father and the two daughters where on one end and the mother next to me. She kept screaming at her husband that she wanted to take pictures, and screaming at her daughters that she was posting on Facebook, and Snap chat very loud, very disruptive. I had to tell her some of us are here to relax. I wish someone had controlled them. They were very loud and vulgar! I need to find another salon. read more

I went to have a shellac manicure done on 3-12-2013 . I received a gift certificate for my birthday. I have to say that I will never go back! The man who did my manicure nipped 2 of my fingers and made them bleed. When asked what I was looking at I said the blood. He then told me they have to get very close . After he was done I went home and not more then 5 minutes one of the nails polish lifted up. I did go back and had someone else re-do them all. I am just hoping that I don't get an infection. There are plenty of nail salons in the area and I will definitely use a different one next time. Thanks but NO THANKS!!!!! read more

My husband and I traveled to the Naples area on business from Atlanta. Unfortunately, due to my schedule I was not able go to the salon I frequent. Skeptical about a "new nail salon" I immediately got online and began searching for a great nail salon. Majority of the reviews were good so I gave Super Star Nails a shot. I am very pleased I did. The salon is family owned and operated business, thus it's super clean and smells divine. The owners, a husband and wife sit side by side....so cute. The music played was a soothing jazz, which just about put me sleep. Loved it!! The pedicure spa chairs are brand new and I was one of the first to experience it. They are gorgeously designed and feel very comfortable. I appreciate the pampering, time, and detail offered and not the rush feel that you'll typically receive at an average nail salon. The only reason why I did not rate this a 5 star is because I would have liked to have seen plastic liners in the pedicure bowls for obvious sanitation reasons. Yes, I'm a germ- a-phobe.
