We met with Mr. Artur Komov and asked for the work to be done in two and a half months and to stay within the budget. He delivered and provided more. The price was reasonable and the quality was the best. He and his father, Jay, as well as all of his teams and workers have now become part of our family. We received new or remodeled: - sub-basement and basement (two whole floors, gutted and fixed) - bathroom, - kitchen, - all windows throughout the house, - roofing, - gutters - siding, - patio, - cement walkway around the house, - electrical, - plumbing, - painted all the rooms, - closet, and - stairways. We would spend hours with him and to different stores to find what is the best fit. His eye is amazing. d. Randy and his Team - We need to have Randy come in and do some support work. He and his team are exact, detailed oriented, and great. e. Plumbing - I love their licensed plumber Matty and his teams. They will show up in the morning and will take care of every single detail. He has the experience and the best quality. f. Electrical - Rob is a licensed electrician and a problem solver. He will work with your designs and help you get it wired together. g. Rana - He and his brother did our patio and cement around the house. They were amazing, so detailed oriented and hard working. They turned our backyard from dirt and grass into a beautiful patio. h. Roofing - Our roofer, Hammo, is now like family member. He and his team worked carefully and were detailed oriented in changing our roof. We had a leak that would interrupt the work. His team came and put tarps on the roof to protect the wood until they were ready to do the work. If there is a question, then he calls or comes immediately. i. Siding - Gus made our house beautiful and safe on the outside. We had dated and broken vinyl siding, and he did everything to replace, to fix, and to make it beautiful. He also was adjustable to providing beautiful molding outside the windows to accent them. 3) Very Responsive - If there is a problem or question or request, then Mr. Komov responds in less than an hour. He is always there and always ready to help. 4) Great Quality Materials / Everything is Included - Some may use cheaper material and not let you know or force you to pay for extra "add ons" once you agree to the job. PHR takes pride in using the best quality material and everything is included. For example, they use the right insulation in the basements, and took care of fixed additional items in the job. They are dedicated to making sure that you are happy. 5) They will stay until the job is done, and it will be done right - Finally, they stick to their commitments and deadlines and never sacrifice on quality. In this case, I gave far too much. **5/9/26: UPDATE - SEE SCREENSHOT OF ILONA GUMENYUK'S 5/8/26 EMAIL CONFIRMING REGGIE ARRIVING TO DISTRIBUTE REFUNDS AND REPLACE MY SCREENS -- NONE OF WHICH HAPPENED. AND NOT A WORD FROM ANYONE.** I hired Reggie Villa / A&J Window and Glass to create custom window screens and a balcony screen solution for my apartment. Based on my recommendation, two neighbors also hired him and paid deposits as well. What followed was weeks of missed appointments, repeated promises to "check with the factory and call me back within the hour," long stretches of no communication, repeated promises that things would be ready "next week," and eventually requests for refunds that never materialized. As delays continued, Ilona Gumenyuk repeatedly communicated on the company's behalf regarding scheduling, refunds, and assurances that replacement materials and payments were forthcoming. When Reggie finally arrived to install my window screens, he showed up hours late with screens that were several inches too short and did not fit properly (see photo). Instead of acknowledging the issue, he attempted to explain the large visible gaps as intentional. One screen had to literally be hammered into place. Even after this, I still allowed myself to believe repeated assurances that properly fitted replacement screens and refunds were finally coming. They weren't. Since then, the two neighbors I referred have filed complaints with the Office of the New York State Attorney General Consumer Frauds Bureau, the Better Business Bureau, and local law enforcement. It is also worth noting that the company's Google Business Profile now appears as "Permanently Closed," despite the company continuing to communicate with customers and schedule supposed future work. As a result, customers can no longer post new Google reviews. I strongly encourage anyone considering this company to read the prior detailed negative reviews carefully. I wish I had.
