Using a blower to extract what remains the workers always ask permission to enter our neighbors yards where some sticks, leaves and tennis balls had fallen to. After that became exhausting, against my will, I realized that I was unable to keep the roof that I thought I could not live without, forever. I had John Dominick Cusumano, Inc. rip my roof off and replace it with a new asphalt shingle roof. Dominick and Donna, their receptionist, were very helpful in selecting out a shingle that still gave the old-world charm of my Pennsylvania slate that was falling apart. Cusumano was able to put back my old copper snow guards & ridges on the new asphalt roof, giving the new roof the old look that I loved. They were also able to add a new copper valley and copper trim to a dormer and give the new copper that old tarnished green look to match the old existing copper. I was so happy with their work that shortly after, I had them build a walk-in closet for my wife. After they had finished, I realized that there were too many shelves for shoes and not enough for clothes. After conveying this to Dominick, he sent his workers back the following week and reconstructed the closet to my wife's liking. The owners, Dominick and his brother, John are two exceptional gentlemen. They run a professional business and are very nice with their customers. Donna, the receptionist, always kept me abreast of the scheduled work. All their workers are very polite and professional, and always clean up at the end of the day. We hired Ramon / Rivera Construction for a bathroom renovation and interior painting project and…read morewould not recommend working with him. There were ongoing issues with both workmanship and execution. A tub faucet was installed in a shower, paint coverage was uneven and inconsistent, and multiple areas were left in the wrong color despite being told everything was complete. At times, a different, lower-quality white paint than what we had purchased was used. During the project, multiple glass windows were broken and plexiglass was installed in a historic bay window instead of properly replacing it with the materials we purchased. A tile floor had to be removed and redone after being installed without regard to the pattern, and we had to intervene to prevent a countertop from being cut in the wrong location. A significant amount of materials we purchased for the project, including tile, paint, and three ceiling light fixtures, were not returned or accounted for. When we attempted to reconcile materials, we were unable to get clear or consistent answers. Materials (we purchased) were also requested well in advance of when they were actually needed, and the materials used on site often did not match what we had purchased for the project. This, combined with the lack of clear accounting, raised concerns about how materials were being handled across jobs. Overall, the experience lacked attention to detail, transparency, and accountability, and we would not work with him again.
