We have used Professional Home Remodel (PHR) to perform extensive renovation work in our home and…read morein our opinion, they are the best general contractors and home servicers we have found. They take care of your home as if it were their own home, and this approach is found with every single person on their teams. We needed extensive work on our home and did research and set up an appointment in January 2022. We met with Mr. Artur Komov and asked for the work to be done in two and a half months and to stay within the budget. He delivered and provided more. The price was reasonable and the quality was the best. He and his father, Jay, as well as all of his teams and workers have now become part of our family. We received new or remodeled: - sub-basement and basement (two whole floors, gutted and fixed) - bathroom, - kitchen, - all windows throughout the house, - roofing, - gutters - siding, - patio, - cement walkway around the house, - electrical, - plumbing, - painted all the rooms, - closet, and - stairways. The reasons of why they are best are as follows: 1) Focus on the customer / Passion for doing the right thing / Hardworking teams - Mr. Komov and Jay have one job, and it is to do the job in the best way. They do not take their teams away to work on other projects, or use cheap supplies, or ignore your concerns. They are amazing. Everyday, their teams were in our home in the morning until the end of day. Mr. Komov came by the house multiple times a week and checked on the progress. 2) The Best Crews / Team People / Trades - Your project is as good as the people working on them directly and they have the BEST. a. Demolition - It starts with Thomas and Jean and their teams who did demolition the first day. They were great, and removed all the debris and was careful in how they got the areas ready. b. Alfredo and his Team - Our project manager was Alfredo and he is the best. He, his son, and his team are so hard working and take great care, quality, and pride in their work. They do such an amazing job and pay attention to details and take their time to do it properly. If there is a problem, then he can spot it, let you know of it, and discuss options to fix it. They go above and beyond in what they do. c. Gregg - We started with Gregg to choose tiles, kitchen and bathroom fixtures and countertops. We would spend hours with him and to different stores to find what is the best fit. His eye is amazing. d. Randy and his Team - We need to have Randy come in and do some support work. He and his team are exact, detailed oriented, and great. e. Plumbing - I love their licensed plumber Matty and his teams. They will show up in the morning and will take care of every single detail. He has the experience and the best quality. f. Electrical - Rob is a licensed electrician and a problem solver. He will work with your designs and help you get it wired together. g. Rana - He and his brother did our patio and cement around the house. They were amazing, so detailed oriented and hard working. They turned our backyard from dirt and grass into a beautiful patio. h. Roofing - Our roofer, Hammo, is now like family member. He and his team worked carefully and were detailed oriented in changing our roof. We had a leak that would interrupt the work. His team came and put tarps on the roof to protect the wood until they were ready to do the work. If there is a question, then he calls or comes immediately. i. Siding - Gus made our house beautiful and safe on the outside. We had dated and broken vinyl siding, and he did everything to replace, to fix, and to make it beautiful. He also was adjustable to providing beautiful molding outside the windows to accent them. 3) Very Responsive - If there is a problem or question or request, then Mr. Komov responds in less than an hour. He is always there and always ready to help. 4) Great Quality Materials / Everything is Included - Some may use cheaper material and not let you know or force you to pay for extra "add ons" once you agree to the job. PHR takes pride in using the best quality material and everything is included. For example, they use the right insulation in the basements, and took care of fixed additional items in the job. They are dedicated to making sure that you are happy. 5) They will stay until the job is done, and it will be done right - Finally, they stick to their commitments and deadlines and never sacrifice on quality. I trust them and all of their teams in my home.

NSE Windows - Bay Windows Completed

NSE Windows

Hi Eric, I am…read morewriting because I believed it was important to provide feedback on my experience with your company NSE Windows. The installation of seven Marvin Ultimate Double Hung windows at my home in Centerport was completed today and I have to say that I could not be happier with the product, the process, and the end result. My home is over 100 years old and the moldings were intricate and required careful thought and meticulous measurement to achieve the optimal installation. In addition, the workers were dealing with plaster walls and existing materials that were from that long ago period in time. Mike and his team were able to execute this job with a level of skill and attention to detail that could not be surpassed. In addition, Mike's team was receptive, polite, and dedicated to doing a good job. I must say that the entire experience exceeded all my expectations. From the prompt follow up after my initial inquiry; your knowledgeable sales associate, John, coming to my home several times; meeting with you at the showroom to review the project and options; the site visit from Mike to go over the job, measure, and answer any questions; in addition to Eric, part of the team, coming to my home to assess and take samples of existing moldings. All of these efforts did a great deal to assure me that I was making the right decision in choosing Marvin and NSE windows. In closing, I would not hesitate to recommend NSE Windows to other potential customers and certainly would not look any further, if needed, for any future projects. Thank you again. Best regards, Celeste M Homeowner

I have now gotten 4 installations from Window World in Farmingdale and I will never use anyone else…read morefor my windows or doors. In 2022, I got two bedroom windows (see previous review) and then this week, I got a new sliding patio door/backdoor and a kitchen window (awning style). I received three quotes for the sliding glass door. Andersen quoted me at $6,800 (of course, it was $9,700 but then their magical discounts brought it into the high 6's) and Power quoted me at $5,800 (of course, if I signed RIGHT THEN AND THERE, it would be $5,100 only). They also both told me that it would be 7-10 weeks for install. Window World quoted me at around $4,000 for the door and within 3 weeks of putting down a deposit, I had a new door and window. The door is perfect and has built-in blinds that open/shut and raise/lower. The window is gorgeous - I took their recommendations and went with the awning-style window instead of one that goes up and down (they called this Double Hung). Absolutely fantastic service from Bill and Matt, as well. The installation took about 3 hours and was done perfectly.

Last summer it was sweltering hot, with most days listed as "above average" and many of THEM at 90…read moredegrees or above. By Labor Day, the weather person said "If you thought THIS summer was hot wait a few years until you remember this summer as the last cool one we had". We have a large Western-facing bow window that was getting direct sun. We put that window in 27 years ago, and it worked perfectly fine. Opened, closed, clear glass, nice screens. Really, a very nice bow window without a single problem. I didn't have window treatments because I like a plain look and it's a living room, not a bedroom. But I felt like I was under a magnifying glass, with the sun concentrating in our living room. The air conditioner would not stop cranking, and it was only getting moderately cool. All my neighbors have the same problem, but solved it with thick drapery which, aside from being expensive (4K for one neighbor!) was just dark. I was out shopping with my parents for window treatments, and my father said "Just get Renewal by Andersen Low-E glass". Now my dad is a frugal guy AND a builder. I couldn't BELIEVE he was recommending replacing perfectly good windows, but he explained "They are the best windows out there, I only use Andersen, and look, my house doesn't get hot". And it doesn't. Well one more hot day later, and I call the Andersen people. They have fliers, commercials, social media ads...I just found one of those numbers and made the call. I might have said "I am roasting alive in my own house". Next week, a consultant, Vito Anasto, comes to the house, and he has his box of samples, and a heat lamp. He was so down to earth, and didn't try to "sell" me anything. In fact, I started talking about OTHER windows, and he asked if I had any idea what windows cost, and I hadn't. So he gave me a ballpark figure and I quickly agreed that we should just discuss the one bow window. It was higher than I expected, but I appreciated his honesty. So he explained how the Low-E windows worked, and I was already getting excited. Then, out comes the heat lamp. Vito said "I usually don't do this demonstration, but since it says here 'Client reports being roasted alive' let me show you exactly how these work". So he takes the heat lamp, opens one of my existing bows, and holds the heat lamp outside. I touch the inside of my glass, and almost burn my hand. Then we decamp to the table, and he has samples. We do the same thing with each of the samples, and with the top-of-the-line sample, it's like a trivet. Cool to the touch! I was SOLD. Vito explained that he doesn't have to really sell the windows, the product sells itself; he's just there to figure out which of the local and national deals--which are ongoing--will help me get the best price. And after some searching and playing on his computer, out comes a price. It was higher than I thought it would be, but it was one price. No add-ons, no surprises later...one and done. Well, I looked longingly at that sample that acted like a trivet, and signed. No regrets.

That alone is an annoying thing to do.. but to make the advertisements intentionally look handwritten and personalized- as if it was some kind of report specific to your home.. and then to make it seem as if there are numerous problems? At the very least that is false advertisement and a scummy, unethical thing to do- at worst that is bordering on criminally fraudulent. Who are you expecting to fool with that anyway? The elderly? Older homeowner who could be easily tricked and manipulated? I've included numerous pictures of their scummy advertisements- and this is not the first, second, third, fourth or fifth one I've received. Probably got at least half a dozen of these. Please stop wasting paper and money by sending these offensive scamphlets out.
