I walked in on a Saturday to relax and get pampered. They got one star because my feet and toenails look great. Yet they don't have the usual massage chairs, the towels they used looked dingy and dirty. My manicurist - after closer examination - had cut my cuticles and made them bleed under the side of my nails. My nails after an hour and half were not dry or not done well. I opened a chip bag and my paint rolled off. So i was left to remove my new manicure. They don't do leg scrubs and hand and leg massage was a joke. I will not be returning. I was told that the woman that does eyebrows would be there in 10 minutes. 40 minutes later, she was still a no-show. Thus, I cannot comment on the quality of the actual product/service. Super Nails is great place to go get your nails done, the staff are very friendly and open to make changes to fit your needs. I went there the other day, and Kim did an amazing job on my gel acrylics and Thao fixed my ingrown nail which I normally have to go to the doctors for. Its really convenient because they open 7 days, and sometimes closes extra late so you don't have to come back tomorrow. The pricing is pretty affordable and you get a lot for you buck. The guy who does acrylics was very rude, he didn't listen to what you ask him. He told my mother that he has 16 years of experience. But he has NO Clue on what he is doing. WORST pedi I've ever gotten - I wish I just did it myself. I also didn't appreciate how they were pushing me to do gel nails, when all I wanted was a normal mani with no color. The tech recommended that I just have my nails buffed, I said sure. Then at the end, she says that it's an extra $5 dollars for a BUFF. So essentially, I paid $10 for a mani w/o color and $5 for a buff. I'm actually really pissed about how shady this place is. Felt uncomfortable from the beginning. No "hello" when I walked in, just glared from all the women and a blunt "what do you need?" On top of all this, it's very very dirty. They are consistent with their service for long run. 4 Years ago, I moved from Northridge to Encino, so I tried to find a new place in Encino area, (just to save driving time). One place has been sold out and service got bad, other places were very expensive, too busy, not convenient, and other were even rude to clients. Eventually, I realized that I will never be happier in another place than Super Nails. So, I am back and now I am rather to travel 15 minutes but getting the right service I deserve. Even though the place doesn't seem like much from the outside, it's a hidden gem! You can't go wrong with any of the workers. When I came, I got a pedicure and wax from Kim. She was very sweet and made sure that all of the supplies she used were sanitized properly. Also, the pricing is pretty great and they are open for most days of the week. Lee took the time to make my nails look just how I wanted them to look without making it difficult for me to explain. If you want 30 second massages and bad costumer service. I encourage you to go here! I just left this nail salon... n for the first time in my life I did not TIP the lady that worked on me. She did a poor job on my nails. The nail polish is uneven both toes and finger nails. She seem irritated bc I asked her to carefully remove my cuticles to avoid cuts. She also cut my cuticle on my toe and denied it when I said it burned when she put the alcohol on it. Oh but that's not it she RECYCLED the ACETONE right in front of me. No matter how convenient this place might be, it's a dump and the service is terrible. I don't know who did my nails but the entire place is filthy and everything just looks dirty and broken. I went because I had a flight to catch and thought I'd get a quick full set because my usual nail place was far away and I had waited til the last minute to free up time for this. My mistake. I figured, how bad could this be? IT WAS TERRIBLE. My pedicure was basically nothing. She soaked my feet, she cut my nails - Heaven forbid you ask for gel polish on your toes- the inconvenience is unbearable to them. They look fine - my cuticles weren't handled but like I said whatever. Then I moved to the acrylic lady for my full set. She was angry because it was an hour before they were about to close. I could feel she was mad that she had to do a full set - there were three other people getting pedicures that had just sat down - plenty of time to just do it. She did , RELUCTANTLY - and as she glued the nails on to my nail, one of them wouldn't stick so she piled on the glue to the point where my nail began to burn SO bad. She ignored me freaking out- even though I repeatedly said that it needs to come off . I finally raised my voice because it hurt so much that I couldn't stand it anymore- "This has to come off right now!" She took it off. Made a face about it too as if I just added ten more minutes to her work. From that point on she didn't care what she did. I wanted coffin nails she basically gave me square, claiming it was "a little coffin". I asked her to fix them , she filed a little and continued. NEXT THING I KNOW IM PAYING $75!!!!!! I paid $75 for a terrible experience and I left wondering if my nails would be okay considering what they just went through. A week and a half later ALL THE ACRYLICS WERE LOOSE AND FOUR OF THEM HAD POPPED RIGHT OFF! A week and a half!!! I HAVE NEVER HAD A BAD NAIL EXPERIENCE UNTIL THIS PLACE. Well, they should have called it Super SAVER Nails because I saved more than just a little- $15 for a fill, $15 for a pedi! What what? A-Mazing. I kept looking around to see where they were cutting corners to keep their prices SO low, and other than the fact that the space is a little small and they don't have expensive polish (OPI and Essie lovers, bring your own bottle!) Worst nail salon ever! I came here about a week ago for a fill for my coffin nails acrylics. I don't know his name but the only guy who works there did my nails and he did the worst job ever. Firstly he shaped my nails unevenly and he fixed one of my broken nails which then broke 2 days later when I was unbuttoning my jeans then I went back to get it fixed and he fixed it and the next day I went to ride the mechanical bull at saddle ranch and when I got thrown off THAT SAME NAIL broke off.
