I drove 46 miles to get my hair color because Annie is amazing. I only go to her because I'm afraid of getting my hair ruined since I kind of used boxed hair color by myself. This was my second time coming to this location. Annie is just so good that I drive farther than before just to see her. She's so nice and super sweet and she just knows how to do hair! WAS SEXUALLY HARASSED The man who works here kissed his two fingers and touched me on the lips when I was getting my eyebrows waxed. My eyes were closed so i couldn't see it coming. I don't even think there were cameras in the back where you get your eyebrows and mustache waxed. Im ngl I didn't know what to do after he did that and I just wanted to get tf out of there. I had my boyfriend call the shop for me bc I just didn't know how to handle the situation. He still works here...dont let him do your nails he is a weirdo. Plus he says weird commentary while doing your nails and I heard him say some real weird shit while doing this ladies feet and she was just like "umm okay". like it comes off in a sexual way. He also was just flirting with me the whole time and he was talking about "if I were your boyfriend..." I feel like he took my kindness wrong and thought that gave him the right to touch me. I'm knocking off one star due to the fact that they advertised that the SNS would be healthier for my nails. Indeed, it was not! My nails are always strong, hard and never break/chip etc. For the first time in my life (yes, all 30 years lol) this is the lowest point my nails have ever been at. After they removed the SNS, which took a LONG time of soaking in acetone, my nails were shaved down, weak brittle and thin as paper. My nails are tearing! I have to keep cutting down where the tears are and my fingers are like nubs now. They do a good job on pedicures and gel nails. Mindy did a great job cutting/coloring and blowing out my hair. JUST STAY AWAY FROM SNS! No matter how much they try to sell you on it. read more

Are you serious?! I didn't get any designs or anything weird, I literally only got a nude gel color and basic pedicure. You're not going to get repeat customers by cheating them. First of all, they do NOT do SNS. I went to get my SNS touched up and the lady spent 10 minutes explaining to me that it wasn't popular so they just kept like 4 colors and just do clear SNS and then gel color over it. I agreed to see how it went because my nail would still be protected by SNS and not have gel directly on it. They didn't take off my original SNS, which was dark red and just buffed it down and covered it with clear. Then they did gel over the SNS. I liked the color, but the quality is horrible. I have been going here for many years since 2007 when I was going to Long Beach City...My nail person(s) were Tammy and Tiffany but they have left for personal reasons but I still come back. I have not had bad service since I have been coming and Mindy is such a sweetheart. They are some of the sweetest people I have met and Mindy does excellent hair. Anytime I see her with a client they walk out of the salon with their hair looking perfect... I will not go anywhere because this is where I have been going for years. Super Nails One - SNS with gel. (Actual nail length) - Nail Salons Near Me - Long Beach, California

I called inquiring about getting a full set of acrylics. I asked them on the phone if they do ombré with multiple colors and if they can make them glow in the dark. They told me yes. I come in with a set of acrylics already on that's and ombré of three different colors as well as they glow in the dark. I told the guy (Tim) I want the exact same thing. He said okay he can do it. I also asked if he can make it glow in the dark and he said yes he can. I'm like okay let's do it then. He starts removing the set I came in with in the WORST way possible. He starts chopping at it with clippers instead of soaking the acrylic off. As someone who is in school to become a licensed nail tech I know that you are never supposed to just chop and scrape and lift off acrylic. It's meant to be soaked off so to prevent damage to natural nails. You're probably wondering why I didn't run away at this point. And you know, I should have. But I didn't so it's too late now. Anyway, as this dudes chopping at my nails pieces are flying everywhere in the salon and all he keeps saying are "these are so thick oh my gosh way too thick." Like no, they aren't way too thick. You just don't have any clue what you're doing. So he finally removed the old set and preps my nails and begins putting tips on. He didn't even glue them on all the way at first because he had to keep going back and adding more glue as he was shaping the tips because it kept lifting. He finishes shaping them (not even what I wanted the shape to be) and starts applying the acrylic. When I tell y'all he put that sh*t on so THIN I am not kidding. My nails feel so thin like they'll probably break in a day or two. He finishes applying the acrylic and then says what color. This is where all the crazy sh*t goes down y'all. I tell him, "what do you mean why color. I told you I wanted ombré in the beginning." He then says, "oh I can't do that." Growing more annoyed I say, "what do you mean you can't? I told you I wanted the exact same set I had on when I came in and you told me you could do it. Had I known you were lying I never would have removed my old set." He says, "oh yeah I'm sorry. It is too late for ombré." Seeing there's no way it can be done I say, "Fine just do yellow I guess. Can you even do the glow in the dark?" He says, "no I can't do that." Thoroughly pissed at this point I say, "why did you tell me in the beginning that you were able to do what I asked?" He couldn't give me an answer. I had been there 2 hours at this point (FOR NOTHING BUT A SH*TTY, BASIC SET) and I just wanted to go home so I just said whatever do yellow so I can leave. He paints them yellow and I go to pay. I pay with a card and he had the AUDACITY to ask me for a tip. No dude, you're not getting a tip. Be happy I'm even paying full price. I didn't argue about price because I was tired from being out late the night before so I had no energy. This place is nothing but a scam who will claim they can do things to get your money. I'll post a pic of what I wanted vs what I got so y'all could see the sh*tty quality set I got. I'm beyond livid that he flat out LIED to me about what he could give me. DON'T COME HERE. Oh and if I break a nail within a week, y'all will definitely be hearing back from me. Update: after giving this some more thought, I've actually just decided to dispute the charge with my bank due to the fact that I was flat out LIED to about the service being provided. I wanted to give them 5 stars because they were so friendly and welcoming plus the location is in walking distance from my house. I went on a Monday morning ( not busy at all- only 1 person in salon ). I needed a pedicure and gel fill. I only waiting about 5 minutes while they were finishing up with their current client. Both ladies ( one who did nails and the other who did toes ) were very nice and asked me my name and if I lived in the area. They asked me which service I would like to have done and suggested a color swatch for me to look at so I could pick my color. The salon is clean but the decor is dated ( not a big deal but could use some updating ). My pedicure was average, the massage was a little too rough even after I told her I like a soft massage, however She did leave my feet feeling soft and the polish was perfect. On another note, I wasn't too happy with my nails because I felt like the lady was rushed even though I was the only person in the salon at that time. The powder fill was too thick for my liking and the shape was too square. I asked her to round the edges, which she did, but they were not to my liking. The gel polish is slightly coming off on the edges of my nails already ( or maybe it's because she didn't paint the edges completely ). Anyhow, I would not go back to have my acrylic nails done here but I would get a pedicure again. read more

Ive been going to the same nail shop for over 15 years. Due to COVID, the shop has been closed. My sister had told me about Super Nails One and they were open during the pandemic. I started to go to Super Nails One in October 2020. I would get my nails every two to three weeks. Early December, both big toes started to get off and on nerve pain . I thought it was from getting the gel and the UV light. I had my nails done two more time and both visits I told the owner of the shop the pain I was having. She would say "Oh honey " and laugh as if whatever. A week after my last visit, the pain was more consistent and hurt more. I looked at my nail and noticed it looked as if under my nail wasn't cleaned. As I tried to, I was in pain to touch it. I went to a foot specialist and was told I got fungus ! I'm on a 3 month supply of antibiotics and may need to remove my toe nails.. I called then went to the nail shop to show the owner my toes as she is the only one that has done my nails. This lady is something else! I could not believe the bs excuses from , you had it before,I never did your nails,as to looking at her appointment book to see if she has ever did my nails. However her coworker remembered be because she does my moms nails. I would never recommend this place! No to mention , this lady uses a scrubber that's for the dishes and scrubs your nails with it then uses the same one to clean the tub you soak your feet in! read more

The absolute best nail place you'll ever find. I've been going for years! I stumbled upon the place - and I'm so glad I did. Once in a while I have gone to different places closer to me, but I always regret it and will drive the 20 minutes to get my nails done right! I don't do gels or acrylic (nothing against that, but it's not my thing) so they do my nails naturally - and so well that the polish doesn't chip like the natural mani/pedi's in other salons do. It eventually comes off, but usually because of washing dishes or hitting something. They take their time and do everything professionally. No cutting corners here! From helping you choose colors, to getting the right water temperature, to cutting the nails so gently that you don't even feel it, to a soft but thorough scrub, and a relaxing, rejuvenating and satisfying massage... Then there are all the extra little touches that make this place heavenly: the 'real' slippers you get to leave with, the gift bag you get at the end, the variety of drinks offered and setting the tv to the stations you want :) It just doesn't get better than that! read more

I took my daughter here to get her nails done before school. The staff was super sweet and only charged us $10 dollars. It was then that I decided I would write them an excellent review. But my inner yelpper said "No....you must try it yourself before you yelp" So I went today and brought my daughter. They asked what service I wanted and I said "pedicure and manicure for my daughter and a pedicure for me please" They started us, but then stopped in the middle to take a loooong phone call and then stopped again to give someone a FACIAL. Are you F******* kidding me? They stopped one more time to get into an argument with a customer about their punch card which took awhile. I'm pretty sure that the customer was right, but there was a really bitchy worker there that would not let up on her. I thought, well at least it will only be $25 today and it's Sunday so we will try to relax. I went to pay and she said $35. WHAT? I said, "No, last time I was here, it was $10 for my daughter. The RUDE lady replys, "No, we are here today and we charge $20." MY DAUGHTER IS 5 YEARS OLD! I said, "nooooo, I am not paying $20 for a 5 year old's manicure and pedicure." She yelled at me and said " It's $20!!!" I said fine, I paid with $40 and she gives me a 5 back and then quickly takes the $5 back and says, "I'll give you ones so it's easier for you to tip." I usually come here for a mani and pedi and the girls here are wonderful, but today I came in to get my hair done. Gina is the best, she's done my hair twice and anyone who's done my hair knows it's a lot of work. It's super thick and course and I like keeping it long. Today she did touch up highlights and balayage, but most importantly (to me anyway) is that she trimmed it. As you can see in the pictures that's exactly what Gina did, trim it. When you ask her to take an inch and a half off that's what she does. I'm always satisfied with the work Gina has done and the color doesn't turn orange afterwards and it still looks good after a couple washes, no special shampoo needed.
