I was absolutely shocked/furious when my daughter went in to get her acrylic nails removed, they charged her $20 BUCKS! Nothing special. No treatments. No trimming or polish. Just acetone. $20 BUCKS is OUTRAGEOUS! I think they took advantage of her because she's young. (BTW, they were the shop that did her acrylics.) read more

Oh highly recommend this spot. They recently renovated and have new chairs as of hmm I think I went a week before Christmas. The Chairs are so luxurious with massage etc. the owner are super sweet. I was even offered some snacks after I took my mom with me as we were the last customers that evening. I got number 38. That's my fave color. The water was great, cleaning of my nails and feet was calming. And they had the color I wanted. Superb service and love that it's at my favorite mall!I look forward to revisiting. I've been here a few times. The staff are incredibly nice, very helpful and make everyone feel welcome. They do great work on gel x but I have found their dip manicures, and regular manicures/pedicures subpar. 1) my first visit, I got a dip manicure bc my nails were pretty destroyed from gel-x done at another place 4 months before. The tech at Super Nails made my dips super thick to overcompensate for how thin my nails were. They filed my nails oddly shaped and with the extra dips, they were way too clumpy. I was very disappointed and stuck with these for several weeks. 2) the pedicure I got that same day ended up giving me a fungus on all of my toenails which I found out because one of my toenails fell off out of the blue. In taking the polish off the rest of the nails, all of them were all funky looking. I've had to go without a painted toes for months while my nails healed. 3) I went back for a regular manicure and was very disappointed my nail started peeling and the color started chipping the next day despite no intense hand activity (just basic typing, handwashing). The prices here are on the higher end so I definitely expected better manicures/pedicures. But it's clean and in a good location. read more

I am so pleased with their services, Vivian and her associate helped me out at the same time due to press of time. Price fair and reasonable for San Francisco. I just described to them that I needed to be at a company conference so they suggested to keep my nails in almond shape, pink and white with some sparkles. My natural nails broke recently because they were too long so the tech helped repairing them with extensions. Towels, oil before trimming sides... They took Apple pay. I got a coupon for future since this is my first time visiting. I first noticed nail shop downstairs so glad I kept looking for them which is located above the other one on the 2nd floor. Super Nails & Spa is a clean, well-lit, beautifully decorated nail salon in a back corner of the Stonestown Mall. It probably doesn't get a lot of foot traffic because of its location, but I wouldn't sleep on it! Before the pandemic, I used to go to a salon pretty regularly for gel color manicures. During Covid, I started doing my own nails and it became a habit. But I was at the mall today and just happened to walk past this salon. Despite the fact that the space is very cramped, an employee gestured me over and without hesitation said she could easily do my nails without me having to leave my mobility assistive device, right on one side of the wide doorway into the space! I rarely get such a positive reaction from nail salons, who in my experience act like wheelchairs and mobility scooters are a huge inconvenience to them...So I said yes without hesitation! The woman who did my nails was named Nancy, and she was super-polite, asked about whether I wanted my nails shortened or just evened out with an emery board, how I wanted them shaped, etc. She was very delicate while also very thorough with trimming my cuticles, which was wonderful, because I've had some very bad experiences with other technicians in other salons in the past who made me bleed. Nancy was very fast at painting my nails, and gave a wonderful arm and hand massage afterwards! All said and done, it took about 50 minutes, cost $40 (competitive for gel manis in the area), and was a very positive experience! I'll definitely be back! read more

I DO NOT recommend. I don't know if they just didn't care about my nails but it was SO thin and it fell off not even a week later. My nail chipped because of thin it was then all my nails just began chipping off. I spent 55$ plus a 10$ tip just for it to start breaking 3 days later. I had a simple nail inspo, just short square nails no design that's all. The lady seemed to be in a rush and didn't even care about my nails. SO NO I DO NOT RECOMMEND. A SECOND CHANCE I decided to give this place a second chance after the first visit was okay. The owner is always super warm and welcoming when you're hovering near the entrance and ushers you to come in and sit down. But once you're in, her demeanor will change and you'll feel like just another no name customer they are trying to squeeze in. LONG WAIT I asked for a regular mani-pedi ($55) and I had to sit at the chair with feet in water that had gone cold for 30 minutes or so before they came to me to do my pedi. RUSHED Then they rushed through my treatment. The owner and my mani provider kept saying "look how beautiful your nails look. I am happy when customer is beautiful." DON'T EXPECT QUALITY SERVICE FROM OWNER At one point I pointed out the thumbnail polish looked scratched, and she just covered it with top coat and walked away to serve another customer. Well folks, you tell me...how's my mani?? At least the pedi was slightly better as the lady was more attentive. I was able to get an appointment day of for two people which was nice. We walked in and they were ready to go! They were very nice and I loved my nails. They did them so quick and really well. Removed cuticles, the massage was also nice. I got gel manicure with French tips and a pedicure with French tips. My mom got regular manicure and pedicure with French tips. The pricing was the only thing that was bad about the experience. We don't do our nails very often so i found it a little confusing and it caught me by surprise. French tip is extra which we didn't know. I also didn't really want French tip on my feet but I think I was misunderstood. I was still very impressed with the service because I have very small toes and toenails and they still did a great job. When the price was explained it still didn't quite add up. Gel manicure is $40 (x1) Regular manicure is $20 (x1) Pedicure is $35 (x2) French tips is $7 (x4) I was expecting total to be $158 plus tax. We were charged $184 and left a $30 tip. So definitely more expensive than what we were expecting. But work was great! Recommend. read more

I really really want to like this place, I used to come here all the time years ago. I was sad / disappointed at the cut I received on my toe nail. The nail tech said it was her fault, but it's been over a day and my toe bed is still very very sore and still bloody, which I have never experienced at a salon before. I was very shocked and disappointed by this. One should not have to experience a discomfort, that is a safety issue and little pricks may happen but this is a very uncomfortable cut and too rough. I had to ask for a discount, which was not even considered or applied at first - $5 off was given and a $5 credit for next time ... wish the customer experience was better in that regard. Nice people and nails seem to be very good quality, but save yourself the cuts and try another salon for safety concerns. Im in town visiting from NC for NBA Allstar weekend, decided to give this place a try for my pedicure. The water was cold, I'm assuming the hot water doesn't work because when I told the tech the water was too cold, she warmed water in a kettle and added it to the cold water. I still have dead skin on my feet, and the main reason I wouldn't dare give this establishment another dime of my hard earned money is when it was time to pay, the tech was nervous and standing directly up on me as if I wasn't going to pay her. The total for my services was $50, per the sign you get 5% discount if you use cash so I asked her if the total reflected the discount she stated yes. I told her I only have $50 in cash on me so I would pay with my card because I wanted to tip her. Yes, the service was crappy but I tip for any services I'm provided. She asked me if I had Zelle or Venmo, I stated yes I have both but will pay her via Venmo. I hardly ever use Venmo so the card I had on there expired, I asked her to bare with me for one minute as I added the new card to Venmo, she started looking over at my information on my phone as if I wasn't being truthful, I said to her kindly, it's ok I'm going to pay you lol I added my card, scan her Venmo QR code paid the $50 for the service and tipped her with cash. If I ever visit San Francisco again for business or leisure I will not revisit this establishment for any services. I felt so violated, disrespected and profiled even though I was carrying a $2,500 handbag and well groomed, sad to say I know it was because of my race. I was the only African American in that establishment at that time being serviced. read more
