I just moved to the area and was recommended this place by my neighbor. The first couple times I came by they were busy and they asked me to call ahead of time or to set up a time to come in. Walk ins are welcome, but you'd have to wait because they always have customers and it's a fairly small shop. I have gotten a gel french manicure and a gel pedicure from them now, on separate occasions. They pay so much attention to detail and I love that they really take their time on their every nail. They are all very sweet and seems to have a great connection with their customers and appear to have a lot of regulars. I'll definitely keep coming back here for the service, results, and fair prices. read more

This review is for the owner MARY.She rude she told me a price the day before my appointment she changed the price which I text her a picture and a detail message through text.She hung up the phone in my face and then called me back to see if I'm coming the next day. I believe this is why her niece Phong quit without giving her notice. Mary and her staff is rude and money hungry.I will never patronize this shop ever again read more

Mary a.k.a aunty Mary is the BEST ingrown nail reliever, genuine, welcoming, and great at what she does. I'm so happy that's she's closer to home and has her own spot. Amazing nails is comfortable, massage chairs are amazing, and homemade tea is served. I get gel pedicure every time and it's always done to perfection. My go to nail shop! I love everything about this place!! Super convenient for the outer Mission neighborhood and easily accessible. When you come here, youre paying for quality. Very hard to find a nail shop that caters to all your needs and wants. The women are very kind and provide excellent service. I come every now and then and I'm always greeted by these sweet women. They always take care of me well. I'm a fan of their lemon ginger tea that they provide, it's so tasty! I haven't gotten a full acrylic set in a while but Mary made them look natural and feel comfortable. She took her time and was extremely detailed with the entire job. Everyone was really positive inside, I felt a community it there. Pricing is super reasonable, $55 for my full set + a small design. Parking is a little difficult so plan ahead. So happy we randomly found this place one day we were looking for a new nailshop, since all our other long time places have been so disappointing lately. The ladies here are so sweet and they do an "Amazing" job. There are only 2-3 workers so it's best to make an appointment. I love this salon! I came in for a color change and reshape for a set that I got at another salon that I didn't like. The ladies were so nice and helpful. I ended up coming back 2 weeks later for a removal and new set. I love how the color and shape came out. I told Mary that I wanted my set to be super natural in terms of color and shape and she delivered. The ladies take their time and do not rush so the quality is great. The salon itself is very clean and organized. I like how they do not overbook like most salons do, so clients are not waiting around. read more

Update: 5/25/2023 I will never go back! I paid for the services and as a customer I have the right to go back and tell them to fix it. In the picture you can visibly see the white polish smeared from my pedicure. The toes did not dry because they rushed me out as the salon got full. Mary today showed me her bad side because her customer service was the worse! She was joking about complaints to her other customers and kept saying "Big Boss complain, if you don't like it go to Cindy". She kept talking and laughing and speaking Vietnamese with the other two workers and they kept laughing saying "go complain, Its Phuong fault" Hahahaha.... I know they are more mad because I did not leave a tip after they provided bad service yesterday and today. Yesterday they rushed me out my amazing pedicure but its Mary fault. Phuong did good and she was trying to help me but Mary kept telling her in Vietnamese to hurry up and attend other customers. I told both of them, I felt rushed and nervous and not relaxed. This place is beautiful and the staff is great but the humiliation I dealt with today was awful. Also, Phuong thinks its mandatory to tip $10. If you donot tip she will force it and not give you exact change. She always ask customers to leave tip and when you pay Credit Card she gets mad and wants to add $10 extra to your total for her tip. She also has a Venmo now for you to send her tip (Convenient but not mandatory to tip). I would always tip, $10,$15 or $20 depending on services. But this time $0 because the service was really bad! The California Board should do an inspection because they donot follow the rules on sanitization after each client. Place looks clean but the tools are not after each use. Mary I know you will read this and that was so rude and unprofessional on your part. Don't worry I will never go back to Amazing Nail. Hope you are happy! We had such an amazing time - we brought our moms here to celebrate birthdays and they were so accommodating and took amazing care of my elderly mom. They were very patient and encouraging when she got confused or overwhelmed. They took fantastic care of one of us who had a broken toe - very careful and gentle. My cuticles are often really painful and frayed and they did an amazing job cleaning them up. Overall the workmanship was spot on and the vibe was very relaxing and welcoming. Watching them take care of my elderly mother, who hasn't had a mani/pedi in over 30 years, with tenderness and gentleness made me tear up. I saw the place while walking around the neighborhood few weeks ago, so I decided to go in today to get my nails done. Mary was super friendly and made me feel welcomed as soon as I walked in the door. Jenny worked on my nails, and I loved how gentle yet thorough she was. The shape and color turned out exactly how I envisioned, and the entire experience left me rejuvenated and recharged. I also had the paraffin wax hand mask, and the process left my hand supple and moisturized. I am definitely coming back here next time to get both manicure and pedicure and will be bringing my daughter along! What a hidden gem this place is! read more

Mary and Fong are amazing. They always take their time doing my nails. The best nail place I've been so far. I feel special every time I go there. They always ask me if i i want warm ginger tea (homemade). Fong uses a sugar scrub and oil to massage my feet and it is so satisfying. Not only was the customer service great (i.e. beverages available and nice friendly staff), the ambiance of the salon was beautiful and peaceful along with nice entertainment, and the available services were plentiful (i.e. wax in a separate room, manicure and pedicure). Pricing was super reasonable, along with easy payment options (i.e. cash, debit, credit). Love love love those pedicure chairs because they had so many massage features to apply (3 chairs & 3 manicure stations available). I got both the manicure and pedicure so sat in a very luxurious and comfortable pedicure chair where I also received leg and foot massage as a part of the service. Definitely definitely definitely will be returning here again. read more

Mary has been my nail technician for over 10 years now and I'm so happy and proud that she finally has her own nail shop. I have followed Mary to two nail salons and she elevates the ambiance and experience everywhere she goes. She is extremely personable, kind, and truly cares for and values each and every one of her clients. She pays excellent attention to detail and makes sure that you leave your appointment happy. My nails are naturally long and she has helped me keep them strong and healthy. She does fabulous creative designs and shapes your nails well - my favorite is stiletto and almond but she does them all. I've also had experience getting pedicures with Sandy and she does a wonderful job! During my first visit at Mary's new salon, I met Phuong for the first time. She was lovely and gave me a luxurious pedicure. I would highly recommend the Amazing Pedicure - so relaxing!!! This was my 1st time ever coming here and they are the best of the best 100% satisfied so kind nice polite so clean so friendly. Come in & automatically feel comfort! All the employees make sure you are feeling great and ready to get your nails done. They offer water or hot tea and prepare you well. 10/10 for cleanliness, they use brand new nail clippers/nail supplies. Everything inside is modern & clean. All the ladies are talented, I went with Mary twice and I really love her art work. She tries her best to match your inspo picture and works with whatever nails you have! 100% recommend!
