This one star review is for the unethical way Mandy overcharged me…read more The facial itself was fine. It's no frills, but exactly what one would expect for this price point at an independently owned small business. Mandy was competent, and her products are decent. I didn't love how she tried to sell me a bunch of skincare products I don't need, but I also know that it's how these spas make money. I paid for my facial with a multi-use Spa Finder gift card. For those of you unfamiliar with Spa Finder's multi-use cards, they act like pre-loaded debit cards that you can re-use until the balance of the card is empty. Mandy told me that she was only able to use the gift card funds towards the actual cost of the service, but I would need to tip her separately. That was no problem. The card had a preloaded amount of $125.00, and the facial cost $119.00. That would leave me with a remaining $6.00 balance on the card. I tipped Mandy $25.00 in cash. Since I was tipping her cash, I confirmed with her that she would only be charging my gift card $119 and there would be $6.00 left on the card. She confirmed. Imagine my surprise when I went to check my card balance only to find that she charged the card the full balance amount of $125. So, Mandy scammed me out of $6.00. In return, I will never go back to her spa, I will never refer friends to her, I will file a complaint with Spa Finder, and I've written this review. I'm not sure it'll make a difference for her either way, but I hope that makes those extra dollars she overcharged me worth it.

After my mom passed away, I wanted to do everything I could to relax and take care of myself. I…read morewent to a spa and got massages a few times a week. I really need to take care of myself. I impulsively booked an appointment for a acupressure massage, jumped into my car and arrived about 30 minutes before my service to take advantage of the facilities. The outside of the facility was nothing to brag about, but the interior of the women's locker room is very nice. The steam room, sauna, jacuzzi and cold plunge were so relaxing. They also have a yellow-red clay room, which was a new experience to me. From their website, "The clay room is a heated sauna where the walls and ceiling are lined with clay. When this clay is heated with infrared light, it releases oxygen that detoxifies the body and helps with any fatigue, inflammation, infection, and menstrual cramps". The Acupressure Massage made me feel a little sore the next day, but by far one of the best massages and such a deal for 90 minute for $150.00 and the use of the day spa included. FANTASTIC.

First time checking this place out. Not bad for a $100, 45-minute "Swedish massage," though the…read moretechnique was a bit unexpected. Instead of the usual kneading, there was a lot of poking, finger-tracing, and some elbow work. I ended up opting out of the back-walking part. The facilities are a bit tight--the parking lot only has five spots, and the steam and sauna rooms only fit about 4-5 people at a time. The men's and women's areas are separate, which is nice, but the shoe lockers don't actually lock (though you do get a bracelet for your main locker). A few quirks: the water cups are so tiny they are like shot glasses, and they leave the massage room doors open during the session. I think I'll try Kabuki Spa next time to compare.

H & B must stand for happy birthday day spa because that's what I feel after experiencing this…read moreluxurious spa. Very spacious and clean establishment. I should've called in for an appointment because they had customers there, so I had to wait in the sauna, which was nice. Call ahead so they turn the sauna on and warm it up for you - no need to waste unnecessary electricity bills if they don't have to. Cost was about $70 + $33 tip + $3 card fee. So total was $106 for an hour massage and some time in the sauna and I stayed for about 1 hour and a half total. They have a steam room as well but it's currently nonoperational. If you don't have the ability to tip then you shouldn't be going to a day spa to be honest. There is a locker for you and they provide a lock so your belongings are safe when you go into the sauna. The sauna is complimentary if you get a hour long massage. If I could redo the experience, I would've liked to go sauna, massage, then end it with another sauna session. Massage was comfortable and relaxing. I asked for medium strength. The masseuse I had primarily speaks mandarin. You also get a private room. One thing to note is that the street bus stop smells like ass, so wear a mask to avoid the foul odors. Highly recommend with my utmost respectful regards.

Also, they have steam or dry sauna that comes with the massage that doesnt cost you anything extra. Also, they have private shower rooms in the massage room or outside. Although i seen some customers would tip $40 - $100 dollars which were super generous. I dont have as much money so I only tipped 30 bucks.
