I made an appointment, but they were able to see me early. There were no other customers at the time, likely because of the rain. I asked for about 2 inches off, and I appreciated that the stylist listened and did not cut off more than I requested. She finished my V-shaped haircut in about 30 minutes, and the cut looked clean. During the haircut, she asked if I wanted layers and I said yes. Looking back, that was my mistake since I usually do not get layers, and I wish I had skipped them this time. The inside of the salon is what you would expect from a typical Chinese hair salon. It looks fairly clean and is very no-frills. The total came out to $40 before tip. Overall, this is a solid spot I have trusted for years when I need a straightforward trim.

Two things that I can't ignore and hope management reads this. 1. There is room for improvement on the locker room getting so crowded. 2. Do NOT trust the sandals. They are plastic and incredibly slippery when wet. Since they are not sized to the individual, it's dangerous. I slipped out of my sandals and fell down the stairs in the large Russian Sauna. This resulted in multiple abrasions and a large laceration on my forearm and I actually got stitches for the first time. Sandals have to be fixed, there's stairs everywhere here. The people in the sauna were super nice and helped me, luckily, I'm pretty fit, but it could've been really really bad. Credit to the staff for not charging me for my time there, honestly, I would've rather paid and left uninjured. She absolutely over threaded them and butchered my eyebrows for the next 6 weeks. She remarked that my skin was sensitive while she was threading; yes, my skin is generally sensitive but I had never had a threading hurt this much. I had a feeling that maybe she was over-doing it, but I can't exactly open my eyes while I'm getting hair removed so I decided to trust her. When she showed me the mirror, I didn't even want to look. I paid and left, and immediately started googling for eyebrow pens. It's actually so bad that I don't even want to attach a picture. I asked for a natural clean up and she gave me the stick eyebrows of the 2000s. I've gone here numerous times before. It has never been consistent. Sometimes, they barely thread it. Other times, it looks right and I'm happy with it. Never have they butchered it like this before though; I'm genuinely worried it might not grow back the same now. Extremely unhappy. Despite it being so close to me, I'm never returning.
