I went for an eyebrow threading service, it was empty which meant no wait which was good but she did not even map out my eyebrows, she just got off the register sat me in a chair and went in without asking anything, shape nothing. She was very rude to me just non communicative and i paid 15 for the service when she left a lot of hairs in and did not even bother cleaning my eyebrows up after or anything. I don't know why she's there working if she's going to treat people all weird like if she's forced. The younger woman who works here is great. She takes her time to shape your brows and remove all the hair, but she is only there on certain days of the week. I forget when or I would only ever see her. There is an older woman there who is awful: she is lazy. She barely removes any hair and doesn't maintain the shape. The eyebrows are not threaded with a sharp line, and they don't look clean and trimmed. One time, she even tried to set me up with her brother by asking if I was single. It was so inappropriate. I'm either going to find out when the other lady is here or find a new spot. It's so frustrating when people who work in the beauty industry don't do their job well and negatively impact your appearance/self esteem. I've been trying to outgrow my brows for months (I tweeze the stubborn out) to get a fuller effect. I had a bad experience with swati due to cuts post threading. I came in and Renu was not around. My brows needs to be taken care of, so I gave Swati the benefit of the doubt that maybe she'll do better. I decided to give her another shot. I was very specific with my clean up only request. She thread not only my brows but my skin as well. My brows are way to thin, uneven, crooked and gave me cuts for the second time. I'll definitely be coming back. It's a cheap place to go and I wasn't upset with the results. she shaped my brows really well. im giving 1 star because the place is not sanitary at all! she used some eyebrow trimmers on me and when she was done she placed them in a container labeled as "clean" (clearly not clean, you just touched my skin and hair w those!) & then i saw her use them on the next person. who knows how often theyre disinfected & how many ppl shes used the trimmers on without cleaning them. She also keeps the thread she uses on your skin around her neck touching her hair and bare skin. Really unsanitary & dangerous since skin diseases are so easily transmitted. read more

I've been getting my eyebrows done for about 8 years now and I have never been to a place where it doesn't hurt that bad to get your eyebrows threaded! It literally did not hurt at all! The employee working there, a young girl was so SWEET! She was the best! If you are paying with credit card just know that they do charge $1 extra which isn't bad. Went in to clean up my bushy eyebrows and I wasn't disappointed! $12 in total (with the credit card fee) and worth it!!! Def. recommend. $15 for an eyebrow and upper lip cleaning! This little joint is right next to Taqueria Guadalajara. It's tiny and behind the bus stop, but has 3 chairs. She was okay. It was a little awkward and i actually tripped on the metal foot rest. That could've been a terrible day... She didn't even say, "are you okay?" but that might have been due to a language barrier... The work was good. She left no hairs and was thorough. I have no complaints other than the awkward beginning. I'm glad that there's a decent and legit Indian threader in my hood. I came here to get my eyebrows threaded for the very first time. The first time I came, she was judgmental and unkind because I was new to the whole process, which made me feel unwelcome. After she was done, I noticed she did an OK job. Not really what I wanted but my brows looked cleaner so I decided to give her another shot. The second time however, she recognized me and gave me a dirty look as soon as I came in. After growing out my eyebrows for so long, she ended up RUINING THEM. She made one eyebrow incredibly thin and rounded while the other one stayed thick and angled. I was horrified! I tried telling her but she told me it looked fine. Not wanting her to ruin my other brow, I payed for the service and left trying not to cry. I left for vacation the next day and have had to fill them in every day since. I saw a deal on Groupon for eyebrow threading here and decided to try Eyebrow Queen Salon because my eyebrows needed a little TLC. I believe Renu was the one who helped me. She sat me down and got straight to work on my brows. Before, they were grown out and kind of took a more natural, "straight-across" look with little arch because I was going more of a K-Beauty look. I forgot to tell her that I wanted to keep that look so she did more of a curve arch for me. HOWEVER, this turned out to be a blessing because she shaped my brows to a thinner version of my natural brow with a more prominent arch which I really likes because it complemented my face and current makeup style well. After she is done, she let me review her work just in case you wanted anymore adjustments and finished off with a wipe of soothing aloe to calm down the redness post threading. On my left eye there are 2 small cuts and both eyes areas are really sore and red. I'm not new to threading .. But somehow when I went here my eyebrow area stayed sore for a few days and now u see the little scars that form after there been a cut. I don't think I will be coming back. read more

She told me to hold my lid close to get the baby hairs and even use scissors to help me cut short. Overall, she did a really good job and I have decided to make her my go-to person for threading. I hate cheating on her with another threader when she's already so good. Same for my hairstylist, who I've seen for 10 years. I'm a loyal person, lol. I feel like I only leave reviews that happen after a dramatically good experience but this really was a good experience. I've been tweezing my own eyebrows the last half year (already a bad sign), and the moment the lady and I sat in the chair to take a look at my brows, I noticed for the first time that THEY WERE CROOKED. Not just a tiny "sisters, not twins" amount... one eyebrow was both higher and shorter than the other and my entire face was crooked. She had a good laugh at me before my threading, but I'm okay with that because she fixed my crookedly tweezed brows and took time to point out where to fill them in and let them grow.
