Wonderful experience! I had my very first sugaring/wax experience with Alli today. I went to her after all the great Yelp reviews and I'm glad I did. I can't recommend her enough. I was nervous because I've heard horror stories about waxing pain. And this being my first experience, I was feeling very self conscious. Alli put my mind at ease immediately. Friendly, and genuinely so. She takes the time to explain everything and is so kind and understanding in the process. It was virtually pain free. She did a great job and I left feeling really good. Which is as it should be. The salon also does nails so I'll try that at one of my next visits. Highly recommend and give them five stars! read more

Alison is the absolute best at what she does, despite moving from sf to east bay i still see alison for my brazilian sugaring! She is so efficient and great at what she does i've never had such thorough clean and professional results. I love that she incorporates threading as well, which ive never seen offered anywhere ! read more

Least painful Brazilian waxing/sugaring I've had around the Bay Area, FAST, and very affordable compared to others! I am so happy I found Allison again! I first discovered her 14 years ago and she introduced me to Brazilian sugaring. I quickly became a regular because she was so good. I moved away for many years and forgot SF Sugaring was inside Sol y Luna. She is still the best- as fast, friendly, minimal pain and thorough. I can't recommend her enough, even if that means harder to get an appointment, because her techniques and how much of herself she gives to clients deserve to yield success and she really goes above and beyond. read more

just got a full brazilian. so fast and thorough. great vibe too. highly recommend. has online booking for ease.

I had such a great experience with Allison! It's been a while since I got a Brazilian and I wanted to try sugaring. Allison walked me through the whole process, and we ended up using a wax and sugar combo. She was so fast and so knowledgeable, the whole process was way less painful than other waxes I have had in the past. Fast and efficient is most definitely what one wants in these situations, especially when it's been a while between procedures. I will definitely be going back to Allison. read more

I've had Brazilian waxing for five years now, and I was new to the area and found this spot nearby. First of all, I just want to say I was kind of sketched out because I've never gone to a nail salon to get waxed, but Alison really made my experience awesome. I've never had sugaring done before, and I was kind of scared, but she talked to me throughout the entire thing. She told me that she's had 18+ years of experience in waxing and recommended that we mix both waxing methods for my first time. So she did the hard wax on the bottom and she did the sugaring on top. Sugaring was definitely a little more painful but I've noticed that the hair is growing back way slower than the hard wax part. Anyway, Alison is hilarious and a major trip! She made me laugh out loud while she was waxing me and I was horrified that the wax was going to go somewhere it wasn't supposed to be. All was well, I'm so happy I found her. She's gained herself a new regular. read more

Allison was amazing! This was my first time getting a Brazilian sugaring and a Vajacial, and lemme tell you, Allison made my experience so pleasant! Super welcoming, super funny. The Vajacial was really nice to experience after the sugaring, it definitely calmed the skin area. She has definitely gained a new regular. read more

Today was my first visit with Allison, she made me so comfortable from the beginning. Explained every step that would happen since it was my first time, definitely not my last. She was absolutely amazing. read more

Holy shit Alison is a trip. Totally worth it. She'll tell you straight up. This is what I gotta do for you. It's been a hot minute since I've sugared. Like years... I just had a baby so I had to tell her ass be gentle. Yeah right ! Lol it was super fast. She treads at the end. I wanna try numbing spray next time. Just to see if it helps. Going back next month. I'm a new regular. read more

It took me a while to find a sugaring place with great reviews and so happy I fell upon this gem! Allison was so welcoming to me. Even though I am a pro at the process she still spoke to me about her experience with sugaring. And I just made a comment about how long it had been since I had a gel pedicure and her daughter did one for me!! I didn't even realize the nail salon was open! I am so thankful to have found her while temporarily living here in San Fran. I drove from San Rafael! And for future reference there is a parking lot to the left of the salon where you can park. read more

I wished I found out about this place earlier... Allison is hands down the best at what she does. Just talking to her, you can tell she's passionate at what she does. She does what she needs to do to make sure you're smooth and hairless. Normally I would just get sugared and there would be stragglers. But no, not with Allison. After sugaring, she tweezes and threads to make sure everything is GONE. Having a conversation with her is just a plus, she's so easy to talk to. 10/10 recommend and definitely coming back. Allison, you got my business. read more

Was looking for a salon for Brazilian wax and came across this one pretty close to where I live. I am always very particular about doing my research before going for a Brazilian coz it hurts so bad. This salon had pretty good reviews and many people mentioned sugaring being less painful and long lasting than waxing. So decided to give this place a try. Booking an appointment was easy through their website. Upon reaching I was greeted by Henry and Allison. Allison is definitely a pro at this and she used her different techniques such as waxing, sugaring and threading to do a clean and less painful job as possible. She kept talking to me throughout the process and made me feel comfortable. She was also very quick. The whole thing was done within 10 minutes. Definitely a good place to go for a Brazilian. read more

Allison is amazing. Highly recommend for sugaring needs. Her hours are great and the online scheduling is perfect. Thanks Allison!

Allison is the best! I've been going to her for about 3 years now and she does a fantastic job.

Allison is freaking awesome!! I've never had a Brazilian wax experience like this one. It's not just a "in and out, cya later" kinda thing. She really cares about her work and the result. She left no hairs behind and she even got some ingrown with the threading, AMAZING! Will definitely be coming back. read more

I've been coming to Alison for almost five years and I cannot recommend this place strongly enough. She's so skilled and excellent at her job. She combines techniques to make sure every hair is removed, including hard wax, soft wax, sugaring, threading, and even extracts ingrown hairs so the skin stays healthy and smooth. She also works quickly and she keeps the conversation going to distract from the pain. I would genuinely follow her wherever she went, she is the most uniquely talented hair removal specialist I've ever met. read more

I was very scared walking into my appointment because I hadn't waxed or sugared for about a year. I have been shaving so my hair was very course and thick. Upon walking in I was greeted by Allison and she was amazing. She got the job done in under 15 minutes. She used a mix of hard wax, sugaring and threading to get the cleanest wax i've ever had. She kept talking throughout the entire experience and kept me very comfortable. It was a great job and experience for the price! read more

Ive been coming to Allison for over a year now and she is a BRAZILLIAN MASTER!! Although im a very last minute person she always find time to fit me in on the same day. Love, Love, LOVE this place- Allison is phenomenal! I have been waxing, sugaring etc since I was 18 but stopped during the pandemic. I was a little nervous about getting a Brazilian since it had been so long, but I can say confidently that this was the most efficient, comfortable, and pleasant Brazilian I have ever had. I texted Allison to ask for a same day appointment and she fit me in within half an hour of my text (I live close so it worked out). She was exceptionally professional and explained everything she was doing and why - she used a blend of hard wax, sugar, and even threading which I hadn't seen before. She kept the conversation flowing and really took her time to do a thorough job, while also being really really fast. All this for a great price at a very clean and bright location close to home... I'll be coming to Allison for all of my hair removal needs from now on. read more

Seriously impressed with my first "sugaring"! I went in for leg and bikini sugaring and ended up doing my whole face as well. I was concerned about my sensitive skin reacting to the sugar but it turns out my skin is responding with less redness and less irritation than from traditional wax. She is also an expert in threading and was able to pick up the finest and also stubborn hairs that were left behind from the leg wax. This attention to detail sets her apart from anyone I've been to in SF. A+ experience and A+ results. #runwayready read more

Alison is a master! She had me in and out in 20 mins with almost no pain! I highly recommend her

fastest and least painful wax ever! she makes sure to check if you have shaved recently and from there will do a mix of hot wax and sugaring in order to make it as painless as possible. better prices than most places in sf too:) read more

Honestly, the thought of trusting Yelp reviews terrifies me especially when it concerns a service for my body BUT SF sugaring did not disappoint. Allison and her staff were super welcoming and she made me feel super comfortable. I would 100% recommend SF sugaring to anyone looking for a wax. read more

Nothing special here. They only do sugaring for bikini and it's by far the most painful brazilian I ever got. Despite what it says on their website, the rest is just standard low end strip wax. Owner was pretty aggressive at first, nicer towards the end. I was hoping for an authentic sugaring experience and this is a basic nail salon. read more

This is seriously the only place I will ever go for waxing needs. God help me if I ever move out of the Bay Area; I'll have to fly back to see Ali! I'm shocked to see a few bad reviews here and am convinced that those few customers have never been waxed before or have hair as thick as my arm because anyone who has ever gotten waxed knows that Ali does the cleanest, fastest, least painful job by far. For a full Brazilian, I'm never there longer than 15 minutes, if even that, and that's complete with hard wax, sugaring, and threading, and the outcome is pristine every single time. TMI: she even removes any ingrowns, so my skin even gets nicer and nicer with each visit. And I don't even have to come back for at least 5-6 weeks because of how thorough a job she does. What I appreciate most about Ali is that she is so friendly and helpful. I make last minute appointments through text and she always responds so quickly and can fit me in no problem (because it seriously only takes her 15 mins!). She's a gem and I recommend everyone I know to her. If you don't trust me, go to European Wax Center. You'll come running to Ali in no time. read more

Allison is amazing! This was my first time getting a Brazilian and eyebrow/lip threading (triple threat of pain!) and I was REALLY nervous for the Brazilian, but she was so professional, quick, thorough and kind - she made me feel so at ease! She did an amazing job with as little pain as possible - and my brows/upper lip look fab too :) definitely gained a repeat customer! read more

i heard a lot of good things about sugaring from my friends so i figured i'd try it out myself and see what all the fuss was about. and let me tell YOU. i scheduled just a brazilian online at first but then realized the next day that i needed more services than that (eyebrow, lip & underarm) so then i texted allison asking if i can add services and she got it done with no problems! she's the best! her technique was amazing and she talked to me the whole time, explaining everything she was doing. which was awesome considering the fact that this was my first time waxing. she's so sweet and super funny and she's real efficient. i would definitely go back to her my next time around. read more
