I'm so glad I found Leah on Yelp. We were able to book an appointment online the day before. I chose Leah over numerous other estheticians because she uses Style Seat for her website which doesn't require you to create an account and password. Style Seat just requires a credit card authorization. I wished I lived closer to Leah. She's the best esthetician at brow shaping using sugaring. She was really good at looking at my face shape and structure, and not ending my brows too narrow. I have wide cheekbones and she kept my brows wide. I also liked how she kept my brows thick, and not too thin. I can't find an esthetician in Texas who's as good as Leah. Her prices are affordable. I only paid $22 to have my brows sugared. read more

She's clean and efficient, which are things that I highly value in a service. My skin is very sensitive and prone to ingrowns but since I've been coming in for sugaring I've noticed how much better my skin has become: - pores look smaller - thinner and slower hair growth - no ingrowns! I have been sugaring lots of times and did not have a good experience here. They were really accommodating and I appreciated the flexibility a lot (hence two stars) but the sugaring technique and skill were not the best. The hair was not pulled from the root but was broken and once I got home I noticed there were some spots that were missed. I was really disappointed. I chose this place based on the great Yelp reviews but realized those are mainly for the owner who does not work at this location anymore but does come once in a while. I did some research on lash treatments before deciding on the Yumi Lash Lift, as I liked that it only enhances your natural lashes and should be the least damaging of options from lash extensions to perms. I wanted to have purty lookin' eyeballs without needing to apply mascara, which saves me time in the morning and, most importantly, could make me feel less like a monster on bad skin days. Leah is a wizard and made it happen. I've never splurged on this kind of treat-yo-self before, but I'm glad that I got it done. Leah answered my questions and communicated clearly about the process throughout my first lash treament. I was comfy in her studio while she worked; I only felt minor stinging from the formula sneaking into my eyes and during glue removal, but I know she tried her best to be gentle with every step. I appreciated that she was careful and meticulous in taking time with each lash, especially in paying attention to my many baby lashes. There were a surprising number of steps and careful timing with each--the treatment took up the full appointment time! I'm happy with the results. I'm hopeful that the lash lift will last 8-12 weeks as described, but I might not get the full weeks as I erred in using an oil cleaner the night before. In any case, I look forward to seeing her again. I trust her work and skill now, so I want to also try a facial treatment next time. read more

I found Leah because her SF location had amazing reviews and I LOVE that I can book her super easily through the Style Seat app. I originally meant to come to her just for Brazilian waxes, so it's a testament to her amazing skills that now I see her for Brazilian sugaring and my brows!! I was scared to try sugaring, because let's be honest, trying something new down there is terrifying. But Leah walked me through the benefits of sugaring over waxing and I decided to give it a try. It's totally worth it! While not pain free (obviously!) its soooooo much better than regular waxing and I definitely could tell a difference after just the first time. Way less hair grows back and it comes back way more slowly. I also always appreciate that Leah is conscientious and does the "breathe in, breathe out" for those few extra sensitive spots which makes a big difference. I found Leah via Yelp as I was looking for a Yumi Lash Lift and she had rave reviews. I also decided to book her for sugaring in the same appointment since I had not found somewhere that I had really loved for either sugaring or waxing and she had so many positive reviews for sugaring in particular. I am not going to lie and say that the sugaring isn't painless, but she really knows what she is doing and I find it much less painful with her than any other sugaring I've had. Also, my skin is much clearer and hair has been growing back thinner from consistently going, which also helps reduce the pain. I'm also super happy with the Yumi Lash Lift - it's funny how just skipping a step in my make up routine can make my life so much easier, but it really does!
