Kristy does detailed work on my hair - a precision short cut on curly hair as well as mixed coloring. She does this perfectly! So well that I constantly get compliments on my haircut and color. Kristy is a gem!! As for the shop in general, it is always clean and well maintained. Everyone in the shop is pleasant. Most of the other people working there seem to be barbers and clients are males getting haircuts. They give good clean cuts from what I've seen. I really like the shop's online booking system. Makes it easy and convenient to book appointments. The system sends text confirmations and reminders too. The only downside can be parking, especially at lunchtime. The parking lot is very small and there is a restaurant that shares the space. Street parking is available though. All in all Eddie's Edition is a good shop barber cuts and limited women's styling.

I already know what to expect and that the minute I walk out of the shop I'll be oozing with self confidence and a dapper cut. I've tried pretty much every barber in the shop and all do a great job but my go to guy is Chris. Chris is able to get my haircut knocked out with precise execution in a matter of 20-25mins. This is unheard of for my thick, straight brillo pad hair type. He also offers a super easy to use online option to setting an appointment that I love and lastly he's able to get me in at 8am!!! I love this because I don't have to take time off work or make any adjustments to the rest of my schedule for the day. Their haircut rates are much better than any other shop around ($25 adult haircut) and on Wednesday's you can even get a special customer appreciation rate of $18. That's a steal. This is definitely my go to barbershop and I'd recommend anyone to come check them out.

Full disclosure, Gaspar has been cutting my hair for the better part of the last year. When I heard he was starting his own shop, I had to come check it out! The shop is located within Salon Republic at the Paseo Colorado. You can park in the structure and get your parking validated for up to 90 minutes for free. Gaspar has put in a lot of work into giving the shop a mafia/mob style aesthetic. The brick wall, bullet holes, pictures of the mob and vintage style barber chair is such an awesome touch! He's really doing his best to bring back the feel of an old-school barbershop. As far as the haircut goes, don't go in expecting a quick cut. You can really see Gaspar's attention to detail when I ask for a comb-over fade. He's personable and easy to chat with, so I don't feel like I'm just there for a haircut. One of my favorite things about getting a cut here is the hair-wash. Not only is it super relaxing, but it means I don't have to go and cleanup the little hairs. Gaspar also does beard and mustache trims, as well as a straight razor shave. 10/10 would recommend Gaspar to anyone looking for an affordable, quality cut.
