This was probably my favorite thing in the South. The portions were mind blowing because wym this is a REGULAR size fries and fried pickles. The chicken was so crispy and juicy. My favorite thing was the sauce bar. So many sauces to choose from and all were amazing. The service was great, so friendly and there's plenty of seating. I will be thinking of this place.

The food is always good and the kids always like their meals. Table service is prompt and the hand cut fries are spilling out of the basket. A clean, comfortable, and reasonably quiet dining room is always a plus. The main drawback is one made by many self serve drink restaurants. The condiments, drinks, utensils, napkins, etc are collocated so it is crowded and a bottleneck.

Fried pickles. The only disappointment of the evening.

Haven't been back in over a year because the tenders were so greasy. If possible, this visit was even worse. I know this is fried food, but I don't see this much grease at literally any other chicken place. Gross.

Really impressed by this place. The sandwiches were very good and very crispy. We also got loaded fries to share which have queso, bacon and green onions.

If Chic-fil-A had an ivy league older brother, Super Chix would be him. The food, sauces, service, everything really, is absolutely above board. Some of the very best chicken sandwiches and fried pickles and ranch I have ever had anywhere. You must add Super Chix to your dining rotation, no question!

Delicious food! The chicken is fresh and so tasty! We shared a large fries and it is soo much food! We could have easily shared with more people...next time we plan to share a small fry. One of my favorite parts of the restaurant is the sauce bar. There are so many good choices! Great restaurant. There were a lot of families and kids here.

We had a good experience at Super Chix. The restaurant was nice and clean and the staff was helpful. The food came out quickly and was pretty good! The milkshakes were thick, but still delicious. The Nashville tenders are very hot so if you like heat those are for you, the buffalo tenders are good and light on heat. The regular non-sauce. Chicken tenders were the best to me and were good size. The lemonade is also very good.

Omg this place is good! I wish they were closer to me. I attended a Yelp elite event as my husband's +1. The chicken had very good flavor, and the portion was very large. I also got the cheese fries which had tons of cheese and were very very big serving. I really wanted a milkshake, but I was afraid that would be way too much food and I was correct. The stand out is the sauce bar, where there are many different sauces for you to choose from. The Korean sauce was a little spicy for my taste, but husband liked it a lot. I really liked the signature sauce.

I attended a Yelp Event here a few days ago. I am so happy that I was able to attend as I probably wouldn't have known about it otherwise. I live in Mt. Holly so this is about a 30 minute drive for me but wow was it worth it. You can tell they have really built up this area. There seems to be many new establishments in the area and its growing. I absolutely enjoyed every moment and each bite. I'm a sucker for hand cut fries and they did not disappoint. I got just the regular salt fries. They had a good amount of flavor, crunch, and grease. The chicken sandwich, omg. It was huge and flavorful. They truly know how to cook a chicken. I ordered the deluxe with no tomatoes and no pickle, but added gouda cheese. I didn't think I could eat it all, but I did. I did not order a shake, as I'm not a fan of custard but I heard great things. This establishment is a drive from my home but I may need to make my way back here soon. My husband would love this place as he also enjoys a good sandwich and handcut fries. Oh the sauce I used was their signature sauce. It was a good mix of sweet with a little tang. I dipped my sandwich all in that sauce. MMM Good!!!

Best chicken sandwich I've had in a very long time. This is all my brain kept saying while eating this delicious sandwich. The starting point for our journey with Super Chix started with an invite from Yelp to come visit this awesome restaurant. What makes Super Chix standout is their customer service and commitment to excellence. Their staff was so incredibly courteous and friendly it made this review so much easier. As soon as we walked in we were warmly greeted, a manager asked if we needed a high chair for our daughter and brought one over to a table outside for us while we waited in line. That was one less thing for us to worry about. Ordering is simple, there are small paper menus when you first walk in and a large displayed menu above where you order. The options for sandwiches was diverse and they all looked delicious. We ended up ordering a deluxe chicken sandwich and a simple chicken sandwich. We both got a side of fries, which was more like a mountain of fries, they we're fresh and crispy. One order of fries was plain and the other we got with rosemary pepper - delicious! The sandwiches come in a grilled or deep fried option but the fun starts at the sauce bar. You can accessorize your sandwich with a plethora of sauces from Korean bbq, to hot or Nashville hot, a signature sauce, ketchup, mustard or ranch. We also ordered the kids chicken tenders which our babes were a big fan of. The meal came with 2 tenders, a side, a drink and a dessert! The custard is also out of control delicious and made me regret not ordering a shake with my dinner. Between the staffs friendliness, the cleanliness of the restaurant, the quality of the food, and the sauce bar - we will definitely be back!

Food was service was great! Great portion sizes ! It was overly cold inside so we did enjoy sitting outside! :)

Super Chix is one of the new kids on the block in Fort Mill. They specializes in Chicken and Custard. The have a menu packed with chicken sandwich options and have feature custard weekly. I'm in love with the dipping sauce bar they have and the crispy chicken tenders and fries. The sauces work so well with the chicken tenders and the fries. You can get your tenders covered in a sauce or dip them if you prefer. I like both options. They change the custard flavor weekly and have some stored in a freezer case to take home. I've tried the strawberries cheesecake and the peaches in cream. But are rich and delicious. If you are looking for a new obsession give them a try. You won't be disappointed. My 2 teenage boys and I stopped in for lunch on a Sunday, the place was packed. Looked like groups came in after church. The setup is a bit awkward, the line starts when you come in and follows the wall. It's a bit narrow until you turn and face the menu. The menu is varied with sandwiches, salads, fried and grilled chicken tenders as well as milkshakes and custard. We got the simple chicken sandwich, tenders and the Asian salad with fries. The sandwich was good: flavorful through the filet and the breading was tasty and crispy. The salad was huge and the greens were fresh. However the salad dressing was like syrup. Thank goodness I didn't pour it all over, well I couldn't pour it b/c it was so thick, like molasses thick and way too sweet. I threw it out and used an Asian vinaigrette I had at home. The tenders were delicious but the fries are the star of the show. They cut and fry them fresh. They are a lil thicker than shoestring fries and very good. We had one order with cheese. The cheese is good but once it's cold, there is no dipping. We paid roughly $40 (not including tip) for our meal. So this is about what we pay at Chick-fil-A. Would we come back, maybe as a treat or to mix it up every now and then or to explore a different sandwich.

Finally made it to Poppyseed Kitchen, one of my friend's favorite spots, so obviously we had to…read moreventure down for her birthday! And I can officially see why she loves it. This is the cutest little gem tucked away at the end of a strip mall. The second you walk in, you're greeted by a fun poppy mural and a display of all the delicious pastries of the day. Immediately I'm like, okay, I'm going to like it here! We had about a 20-minute wait, but thankfully there was plenty of time for mimosas and catch up chitchat! And honestly, the time flew by... we weren't even finished with them before we were seated. The staff was incredibly friendly, and the service was on point from there. Someone filled our water glasses almost immediately after we sat down, and we never had a dry cup. Mimosa refills were quick, too! I also grabbed a chai latte that came in the cutest old-school homemade-looking cup and was perfectly warm and spiced. Soooo good! For food, two of us ordered the Fresh Pick Sandwich with fresh tomatoes, stracciatella, kale pesto aioli, arugula, fresh basil and balsamic glaze on perfectly toasted sourdough. I added avocado and bacon and basically turned it into the most deliciously elevated BLT of my life. I also made a pro side swap for my side and went with the cheesy grits. They were delicious. No notes! My friend got the Fresh Pick without tomatoes and added prosciutto, and another friend ordered The Grit with shrimp, and that plate was BEAUTIFUL. Sweet pepper and tomato sauce, mushrooms, crispy onions, arugula and an egg over a plate of grits. Between us, there were clean plates, full bellies and a whole lot of "what are we trying next time?" conversations happening. The food came out quickly, the service was great, the atmosphere was adorable, and it was just an all-around excellent brunch. My only complaints? 1-Why do they have the cutest pastry merch for kids but not adults... I need that "I'm flaky" croissant shirt lol! And 2-Why is this little gem not closer to me?! But clearly that just means I need to make the drive again. Poppyseed Kitchen has officially been added to the "worth the trip" list!

A rather stark, high-ceiling open floor plan with superb air conditioning. Bring a wrap as it does get chilly. Plates, bowls, sandwiches and salads, along with a kid's menu and miscellaneous snacky items. Prices range from $13 to $18. Decent portions. I had the The Bisquit and Gravy ($12) after asking for a sample taste of their gravy. I have had horrible biscuit and gravy dishes in many places where the gravy was just cooked flowered grease. Not at Poppyseed! It was excellent, flavorful and if you ask for more, you will get it. I did. Wife agreed on the gravy. Wife had the Poppyseed Salad ($12) which was so loaded with cucumbers that annoyed her. Very little lettuce, but lots of other hard veggies. She was not happy. My second choice that lunch day was listed as The Ranch Hash ($18). A fellow diner across from us ordered this hash and said he loved it. It did look good with braised brisket, potato hash and two eggs to order. A very fine portion and will be my order when we return. Parking galore. You will need to turn right when you exit on to Tom Hall Street, unless you get a lucky traffic gap. We will be back, for sure.

OK, I'll just say we had "da** fine" meals. Fresh, seasonal ingredients combined in some unique and surprising ways, beautifully prepared and so, so delicious. Just look at the photos of a selection of our dishes. This was well worth an update of my earlier review. First, Speckled Pear has removed the community seating and the prepared food, bakery and produce counters from my earlier visits and replaced them with true "restaurant" tables. The focus is now squarely on dining, with lunch, dinner and Sunday brunch service. And oh, there's still a wine bar and bottles are still available for purchase. In my humble view a significant positive step. Our servers were excellent, including helpfully explaining some of the wine options (my wife and sister-in-law ordered a flight). Still a fairly casual environment. Great acoustics- I hate echo chambers. We sat close to other guests but were able to easily talk among ourselves without hearing any extraneous neighbor conversations. Dare I say, Speckled Pear is now a {insert tire company name} star-quality dining experience. In Fort Mill! PS - It's a small restaurant which filled quickly and early on the weekday we visited. Reservations are recommended.

They put 7 of the quarts awkwardly in one box, and one quart in a bag. I was handed these items. At no point was I offered assistance to my vehicle or to even open the door with my hands full. A simple offer would have gone a long way. 2. When I got to the car, I inspected the quarts. I'm glad I did because of their awkward placement, they were essentially rubbing up against each other causing 3 of the tops to partially come off. The only one wrapped was the single one in a bag. All 8 quarts should have been wrapped for clean transportation. 3. There was a discrepancy of soup in each of the quarts. Some of them were almost full, which is adequate, but others look liked like they were shorted by a bit. I weighed them, and I had containers going anywhere from 750 grams to 879 grams. I should have 674 more grams of soup if all were filled around that 879 grams mark. Aside from all of that, the soup was warm after traveling and perfect to serve at a gathering. If McAlister's had a least offered better service and gave the proper amounts paid for, I would have rated this experience better.
