Gave Super Chix a try and it went fairly well for the most part. Service was very good. Order taken with no issues and noticed employees cleaning and making sure trash was removed so a good clean start. Ordered the Crispy Avacado with a tender added and fries with Cajun seasoning. Also added a vanilla milkshake. Food arrived promptly and looked very impressive. Sandwich was fantastic. The avocado itself is enough but adding the tender turned it into a super sandwich. The fries were also good and crispy. Only complaint about them was while there was a lot of fries, many of them were fry bits. So just random ends of fries. Seasoned well but a bit disappointing. The vanilla shake was not done well. It was not thick at all and very watery. Mixed reviews on the items but as I noted, the sandwich was fantastic. read more

Why would you only have one person to service the entire restaurant. The person was taking orders, preparing the food, delivering the food and everything in between. Decided to have lunch here especially since its a new restaurant at Redstone. They are noted for their chicken and custard. The place is light and bright with 2 overhead tvs on. Nice comfortable wooden booths, a beverage and sauce station. One orders at the counter gets a number stand and food is brought to the table. One can also order takeout and on line. I had a Bacavo Ranch and my dining mate had the Blackend Cajun sandwich. . I ordered mine on a lettuce wrap. We both had coleslaw. Our chicken was tender and moist and well seasoned. The coleslaw tasty but I prefer coleslaw creamier. The staff very friendly and helpful. We thought our sandwiches were a bit pricy at $8.99 a piece. Fountain drinks $2.99 each and coleslaw also $2.99 each. However we enjoyed our meal and will try some else on their menu plus the custard. read more

5 star for trying to manage the chaos. Super Chix opened and it seemed like the whole of Indian Land was there at 6PMET on a Friday night. There was a verbal altercation that was brewing over tables that required the county sheriff to be present. Literally why would you bring a party of 6 adults and challenge a woman who was sitting with her toddler and her young child. Let's be grown ups now. The manager took time to speak with both parties. He found the older gentleman and his party another table and they were still talking. It took close to an hour to get out to go order. My dining companion had found a table to wait at while we waited. The manager provided those of us waiting a small custard which was a nice treat. I'd say we will try again when it's less busy. We've been to the other location and enjoyed it. The breading was falling off the pickles, it was heavy on the crispy avo and the fries had more rosemary pepper than one would expect. So crowded we couldn't make it to the sauces to get ranch, ketchup or bbq. I would suggest if there is a long line and tables are looking full. It may not be the time to try Super Chix. The salad with the stuffed avocado gouda was way below it's exepectations and seemed to be a bit overpriced for what it was worth. The wait for the food was about 20 minutes. Victor who was executing the orders was very apologetic and offered a comp if I should return. This restaurant just opened, so this is to be expected. The salad was good, I especially enjoyed the fresh pepper which gave it a good zing. My husband enjoyed the sandwich. As a vegetarian option, I would assume the avocado is fried separate from the chicken . Overall, I enjoyed the food. Again, this establishment just opened, there will be kinks to work out. Eg: cup for the drink had no lids. I was given a regular cup as a substitute. Staff handling food wore gloves. I observed Victor leave his post to bring food to clients (the floor server was busy and Victor didn't want the food seating, so he took it to their table). To kick the celebration off the 100 patrons were gifted a free Simple Chicken Sandwich meal complete with fries and drink. The excitement and anticipation started with the line outside the building and carried inside to a bright and airy space with plenty of seating. All staff were eager to serve and help get your belly full. This visit I indulged with my gift meal. The Simple Chicken Sandwich was simplistically delicious. Perfectly fried real chicken breast fillet on a nice buttery toasted bun with crunchy kosher dill pickles! Also had the salted hand cut fries. The restaurant has various chicken sandwich options to choose from. Deluxe, Buffalo Ranch, and Cheesy BBQ styles just to name a few. The fries are hot, fresh, and delicious. Loaded and rosemary pepper options to take your fry game even higher. Other side options include Cole slaw and fried pickles. I also noticed healthier salad or grilled chicken options for those days when you may want something light. I was too stuffed to try this go round but I plan to try one of their frozen custard cups or shake (fusion) flavors for dessert next time. I accidentally entered this location on my GPS intending to go to the Fort Mill location instead. We knew something was off immediately, because it was completely empty! I mean a ghost town. The Fort Mill location is always lively and full of friendly and helpful staff. This location had no one on the floor! They had an awful selection of music BLASTING, and the food just wasn't up to par. My chicken sandwich was dripping in grease and extremely sloppy! In the Fort Mill location they have an outstanding crew who's attentive and always ready to clear your table before you can even try to throw away your own tray. For starters the service was great everyone seemed well mannered and showed quality premier service. So there is no complaints in this department and hence the reasoning of two stars. But the food I got a chicken cordon bleu and my friend got tenders and we both got fries. It was nothing special at all, and very unseasoned. Definitely not worth the price at all. Not even the sauce could save that unseasoned mess. Even the fries aren't worth it, they are very small and most of em are over cooked and have a bitter taste. We dined in and the runner who brought our food brought the wrong food but when we finally got the right food, everyone thought it was OK but certainly not great. By the time we got it the temperature was lukewarm at best. It was definitely lacking some flavor. The fries were over cooked. I don't know if it was because there were a lot of people at the restaurant that day, and the staff was overwhelmed or what happened. The afternoon we were there they were doing a pretty poor job of keeping the dining area clean. The tables were sticky. The drink dispenser was sticky, and there was spilled stuff everywhere. We absolutely did not like the vanilla shake. It tasted like watery milk. Overall, we will try again in a few months. read more
