Wow!! There are quite a few reviews by folks who don't travel internationally much!! Staff "yelling" across the restaurant is NOT uncommon in a myriad of asian cultures. One poster said after a tiff with their hostess the staff kept "eyeing" them every few minutes....I know what she means...I get "eyed" frequently everytime I eat there - that way my beverage glass has never been empty for more than 3 minutes and the empty plates always disappear from my table in less time than that. Look, folks, if you want 5 Michelen stars buy a ticket to LA, Frisco, or NYC...this place ain't it. If you want to feel like your sitting in a sidewalk restaurant in Hong Kong, a noodle house in Korea, or any street eatery in Tokyo: this IS your place! The staff is friendly, the digs are kitchy, the food is authentic, the sushi selection is great, and the price is for all you can eat. 5 stars in my book. read more

Wide variety of food. I would say the sushi bar is awesome and the clam soup were my favorites. The price for dinner is $14 which is great for crab and clams. I have to say the crab seemed old and had no flavor. They could work on tidying up the place also. ... just a little bit. I will definately be back to this establishment again. read more

Jesus this place is gross. The rice is not good, it's hard to fuck up white rice but they did and then served it! every single dish is stale. I feared my life may seriously be at risk if I tried any of the sushi, so I skipped it. The place is over priced. The nicest part of the entire building is their bathroom. But I've eaten nastier foods in Washington so I give it a star. read more

Dogs in the building, dried out food and when the lady sat us, she scraped something off the table with her fingernail. Not only am I calling the department of health, I will never be back. read more

Wife and I went there during a weekday during the week of April 12th, 2021, right at the busy noon lunch hour and to our dismay we were the only patrons there for a good 30 minutes before other patrons came in which is a good thing, but after reading other reviews probably a bad thing. We both felt the food to be terrible and lacking compared to other similar Asian buffets and won't be returning (luckily we didn't get sick afterwards). The price was expensive for lunch $40 for 2 seniors with only 1 drink and 10% tip and too me for the lousy tasting food and selection was a waste of $$$. I agree with other reviewers, here, the soup was nasty and old tasting. there were too much strange foods with strange off-the-wall tastes. My wife, being Asian, knows the tastes of many foods and she said they didn't prepare them correctly for what they are labeled at. Not enough selection at the salad bar with mostly cookie type deserts ( its too bad the soft-serve ice cream machine was not working ). How can one mess up with making Jell-O, well, this place did or maybe where they got it from already messed it up - it tasted awful. They didn't offer any diet drinks and so I had to take the water. Lacy water, if that's what they are using, tastes bad too. Is DuPont the only place that has good tasting water? Seems like it. Speaking of DuPont I don't know why the better Super Buffet at DuPont permanently closed up shop- it sure beats this buffet and I did a review about it giving it 5 stars. I would not recommend this place even though Covid-19 precautions were in place at all times. The food taste and selection was a big disappointment here. Maybe dinner is better, but my wife and I will not return to find out. read more

So first off, I'll admit I'm not a buffet person at all. My wife and I choose quality over quantity and only choose to try Super Buffet because they have Sushi. For $8 (lunch) buffet I figured we didn't have much to lose. I tried most of the beef and chicken dishes they offer and was disgusted with most if not all. The fried wonton was edible as was the fried rice (hard to screw those up). The sushi we came for looked fresh but tasted weird. The salmon roll almost made me gag. I can't put my finger on exactly what was wrong with it other than a gummy consistency. The hot and sour soup was neither hot or sour, just bland and bland. Overall the selection was decent for a lunch buffet, this combined with the price is the only thing that stopped me from rating the place 1 star. Everything else sucked and was just deep fried, fried or slathered with a sugary glaze. If your a glutton who enjoys a large selection of bland deep fried gummy foods then this place is for you! read more

If there was an option for no stars would be it... Was not happy at all and when presented the check was asked twice if we were going to pay and then once we were leaving the server followed us out to parking lot. I didn't see anyone else get followed or being treated unfairly from others. As food goes I wish I never ate anything. Experience was not good and will never come back. read more

I won't be coming back. Food was cold and gross, no flavor. I found myself spitting out more then I was eating. The wait staff are rude and when we went to check out the lady at the counter didn't say one word to us, not one! She was to busy carrying on a conversation with another employee and barely, if at all, acknowledged our existence. If I could give them zero stars, I would. read more

My family and I have been to Super Buffet twice now and have been very satisfied. There is such an enormous variety of foods, you won't go away hungry. It is very clean, staff are friendly and helpful. I would recommend Super Buffet to my friends. read more

I really like this buffett it has everything... ( well not watermelon) i was craving some. But everything else was good some of the meats were chewy. But i was definitely satisfied with everything that I ate. Perfect place to celebrate my moms 57th birthday. read more

They had a decent amount of seafood which I love but the crab made my mouth itch - which usually means they didn't clean it well. I stuck to the shrimp which was pretty good but I probably wouldn't go here again. All the other food was just ehh. read more

Super Buffet - The tea here is dark but it's good. I don't know what it is either so I'm curious. - Buffets Near Me - Lacey, Washington

Best Chinese buffet I've been to yet, and I love Chinese food. Selection is awesome, food was fresh. Sushi bar has really good selection, salmon, tuna, california rolls and few more. Service was close to best especially for a buffet. Definatly will be back again when pass through that erea. read more

Been here quite a few times, and it is what it is...and, it hasn't changed since day one. Hostess and waitstaff aren't particularly friendly, though I find this is true at most places that are like this one. The place seems a little 'divey' and like it needs some freshening up - but, that also seems to ring true to older Asian-inspired buffets Food always seems freshly prepared and warm - but, nothing here is spectacular...good, but not great. For an $8-buffet, you really can't beat it. I've never been unhappy with the quality or temperature of the food, and most of that I'm guess is because of the price point. read more

This is my favorite Chinese buffet. Their seaweed Soup is so good! Their lo mein is also yummy. The only downside is I can't control myself when I'm here so I am super stuffed by the time I'm done. But I guess that's the point of a buffet. :) read more

My husband and I went here for a family meal with our 11 month old. When we walked in they greeted us and sat us in a booth quickly. The guy even ran to get us a high chair and came back to ask what we'd like to drink. They have a large food selection and even offer sushi and some Mexican food options. The food tasted good and was fresh. The place was pretty full so that's a good sign. The only negative I had was that it felt kind of dark. Maybe it was the decor, dark carpet, tile etc., but I think some brighter lights would help a lot. This isn't a Vegas buffet, but it was a good buffet with a varied assortment so we will go back. read more

Kinda expensive.. food had been on the line for an extended period of time. Most of the selection was hard and tasteless

The food was delicious! They had crab legs and in my book that's worth 4 stars. I am new to the area I was looking for a quality buffet. They were dead on with what I wanted in a buffet. The most remarkable thing that I saw what was the speed of the waiting staff. I finished with a plate of crab legs, look away for a minute and poof it was gone! I liked that. read more

This place was not good! Most of the food was inedible! I have never had a bad experience with buffet sushi before, but I wouldn't recommend going near it- it was warm and some of it had noticeable bad spots on it, upon close inspection. I ate a piece and spit it right out. What a bummer. The Chinese food was also not good. Who uses mayonnaise as a base for coconut shrimp? Yuck! The only edible thing was the mixed vegetables. Everything else was old and over cooked. They get one star for having fresh melon and soft serve that the kids liked. The kids also don't mind the crab legs that were over cooked to the point of the shells being soft and hard to crack. We won't be returning. read more

As soon as we entered Super Buffet we were waved over to go to a table. The host seemed cranky and somewhat sick. They do have a huge selection of food and the buffet tables appeared to be clean, but our booth really took away from the food. It smelled like a foot dipped in dirty rag water. Our table was sticky and the floors were dirty. I might have enjoyed the food more if the booth wasn't so gross. The food itself was typical Chinese buffet food. I tried the seseme pork and general tsao's, both being slightly rubbery. I liked their vegetable lo mein and the crab and cheese wontons. I was scared to try the sushi they had available. My theory is that if the front of house isn't clean, how bad is the back? It looked well presented and was probably kept at the right tempurature, but I couldn't bring myself to try it. read more

It's gone downhill since it's opening. Need to spend some money on the interior. Sticky floors, chairs, and tables not pleasant. Went for the Sunday lunch. Tastes were kinda bland. Spicey shrimp was tasty. Nothing else called me for seconds. Staff very attentive. Wish the flavor a would return to the level when they first opened. read more

Saturday Afternoon. My wife and I tried this and our thoughts are. The food is just okay. They have sushi, soft serve, baked salmon, pork roast. Nothing really popped out at me. Service was just okay. And was really expensive in my opinion. Paid 35$ read more

was there tonight for dinner meeting two friends that had been there a while already. The server was extremely rude and made us feel like she was going to kick us out. The food was mostly hard and tasteless, and after ten minutes of being hovered over by the waitress and watching her push the bills in front of us multiple times, we walked out. They made us feel completely unwelcome. My friend paid with his card and put two dollars down despite her rudeness to all of us and asked her to use that as tip and not put it on his card. She responded with " two dollars?" like it was an insult and stormed off with his card. Defiantly not coming back to this place anytime soon and for the price we paid we could have gone to korean bbq and had a much better meal. read more

Seafood variety was looking old and dry. We got there around 18:00 and the foods look and taste old... There weren't many people dining so I guess they will replace the existing dishes for fresher ones? They should focus more on the quality of freshness with a expire timeframe. I know its Lacey a small town but other buffets in the area are keeping it fresh. read more

It's a buffet called 'Super Buffet', in Lacey -_- . After reading Ron B.'s laughable review, showing his ridiculously high expectations for a buffet that he chose at 8:30 on a Monday night, and judging humans acting like humans, I felt compelled to write my own. It's $16 to eat as much as you want till you want to puke. The hostess has always been quick to seat us, and the drinks have come correctly, with speed. The grill guy is always ready to go, and the waiters are always on top of it when you need a refill. One time it definitely felt like the waitress thought we were going to dine and dash, like, so obviously, painfully so, so we didn't leave her much of a tip. That kind of sucked, but we're still gonna go back. We've been to a buffet before, so we haven't had our expectations shattered much here. The food is delicious (the salmon with white sauce, so yummy!) and there is lots of fresh fruit and healthy options as well as stuff that makes me want to sleep for the rest of the day. As far as all you can eat Chinese food in Lacey goes, this place is by far our favorite. We come once a month or every other month or so. Like I said, sometimes it makes me want to sleep all day and I eat till I puke...not conducive to a healthy life to eat here regularly, but darn good for a once in a while treat! Oh well, Ron, more food for the rest of us! read more

Came in on busy Saturday...so you would think the food would be fresh...no...dried up sushi...squishy breaded dishes...$60 for my family of 4. What a let down. Cleanliness is not on the to do list at this place...its filthy!. If you still want to try this place out, I suggest you walk threw the dirty restaurant and the disgusting bathrooms and take a good look around before grabbing a plate and comiting to paying for this. read more

I really dislike Chinese buffet, but this is the best one I've ever entertained. I will only frequent this buffet. Great job guys. read more

That was the biggest waste of $45 I have ever spent. I didn't see any prices listed as my husband and I walked in, which is totally on us for not asking or looking more carefully, but please for the love of all things sane, do not eat here. The food was sub par. None of it tastes like anything, really, except grease and MSG. The employees were nice enough. The facility is clean enough and everyone is wearing masks thankfully. Send out some good thoughts for me so I don't get food poisoning. read more

For the price of $15.99 for dinner, u can't beat it. The sushi and crab, where can u beat this price. I recommend this place.

Well, as a student, it was a spot that was frequently visited because of the price and amount I can eat. Some of the foods can be fresher, but I see that at all buffets. read more

Will not return! Food was cold even after coming 30 min after opening, lady at desk didn't even say hello, how was the food, nothing! Tea tasted burnt, wish we would of ate elsewhere! This was probably my worst experience with a Asian buffet. The food was flavorless. Didn't have anything that was worth the $20 a person price. And with 4 people we tried a lot of items. The only good thing about this place was that I can add it to my never to go back list!! read more

It was OK. My kids love going there. The food selections were a hit-or-miss. The grilled selections were often stale, so ask if they were freshly grilled. The veggie selections were good and we are particularly fond of their dessert bar, we like their tiramisu. When we find something we like, we go back for it, after all, this is an all-you-can-eat place. So we always left stuffed. The main dining hall is clean. The servers are very helpful and efficient. One thing that did not sit well with me: the price. I am not sure if this is a practice among buffet restaurants in WA (I have only been to this one) but Supper Buffet's prices were considerably higher during weekends and Holidays. read more

Food was average. Service was terrible but then someone else took over and he was great clearing the table and refilling drinks. An employee wearing an apron (possibly a cook) was on her cell phone at the buffet talking loudly and stirring the food. read more

What a terrible place. The food was bland and dry. My husband found some bad shellfish in the bunch. Never got a refill or even an offering of one. We were clearly annoying the server by not even asking for anything other than chopsticks. My husband set down his fork and she came over to our table and demanded payment by saying "pay me?" Other people were paying at the counter so I don't understand why we were being kicked out, but we left and will never return. What a joke for just under $20 per person. Save yourself some money and go elsewhere! read more

Food was good for the price. But what surprised me was how friendly the staff was. We had a service dog and we didn't want to be bothered so they sat us at an uncrowded section of the restaurant. They were very attentive and constantly checked on us. It's a Chinese buffet... so with that being said, I'm basing my opinion of the food for the price. The baked fish was good. So was the Chinese vegetables. I had the crab and some shrimp. Like I said for the price it was good. I will be coming back. read more

This place is complete shit. For a holiday they charge you more!! WTF! Again complete shit!!!

There was horrible customer service. The food was like most buffets although their seafood was dry and looked like it was sitting out a long time. This is the last time I will be going to this restaurant. read more

This was probably the worst food I've eaten from a restaurant. 20 dollars for absolutely terrible quality dishes. A very slim selection of food yet at the same time the majority was scraps waiting to be restocked. Do not recommend and won't be going back. read more
