Big samosas and chicken tikka masala! They have a sell some Indian spices as well. Will visit again.

The rice pudding is no good by the time I drive all the way back to Olympia. So I ask to pay $10 dollars more and get a little more Aloo Ghobi instead but they won't do it. They want me to either buy another full serving or get nothing. Too inflexible. So I won't give them the $10, and won't tip them either, and they can make about $20 less on me than they could have each time. The food is pretty good though and it has never given me food poisoning. I've had food poisoning at several other Indian restaurants around the country. I do miss the buffet, and the dine in option. read more

I ordered the lamb tikka masala, garlic naan and raita. The garlic man was okay. The raita was on the thick end. And the sauce for the tikka masala was just okay. I wish I had gotten the chicken. I had gotten the lamb and the lamb was very firm. I couldn't cut into it with a fork or a knife and when I chewed it it was just like very chewy and you just had to keep chewing so I didn't eat it. I did let them know about the meat early on and towards the end and then I asked if you could order the sauce by itself and if I can get a small $4 container for free since I didn't like the lamb. And he said yes at first and put in the order and got it for me and then was trying to charge me for it. And then I mentioned writing a bad review and then he was going to change his mind. But at that point I just said it was too late. Very disappointing. But for Smithfield it's probably all right but next time I think I will go ahead and travel to Clayton or fuquay. There was two gentlemen sitting next to me though and they ordered something that looked really amazing but they weren't sure of the name of it but it came on like sizzling platters. They said it might have been chicken tandoori and that's probably what it was. So maybe I'll try again another timing and order that to go. read more

They're takeout only and the menu prices are deeply discounted if you order over the phone or in person instead of online. The best Indian food in the area hands down. I've tried the butter chicken & chicken tikka masala (pictured) & they're both great but I prefer the chicken tikka masala because it's all white meat vs the butter chicken I believe has a mix of dark meat. The flavors are *chefs kiss*. Garlic naan is to die for & we love the vegetable samosas as an appetizer. Takeout only I believe so we call ahead & it's usually always ready in under 25 minutes! 10/10 recommend if you're wanting to try Indian food. read more

I used to go to Curry corner a lot. Their food is great. Unfortunately they have switched over and now they only do takeout.

This was our first time trying Curry Corner and I have to say it was pretty...bad. Food was bland, dry, and pretty much inedible. When we called to inquire about the state of the food, we were told that the Vegetable Pakora is usually dry and that is why they serve it with dipping sauce. There were three of us that ate the food and we were all in agreement. One person in our group has had her fair share of Indian food and this was the worst Indian food she's ever had. The Mango Lassi was the best thing we ordered. The Tikki Masala was more like buttered chicken and they told us it was because they use the same base for both. The Mix Tandoori Grill consisted of 75 percent onions and was way too expensive. Not even the Garlic Naan was decent. We won't be returning again. read more

It wasn't a super impactful meal. (Edited to add: it was butter chicken) They don't use coconut milk in anything there which is kindof surprising to me. I chose this place based on the hundreds of great reviews as well as proximity to my house. I've been to many Indian restaurants, so I'd like to think I have experienced enough to judge a good curry or not. This was 'good', just super oily. The naan was very yummy and fluffy. Delicious food, amazing prices, and lots of ingredients for sale that are hard to come by in the states. It seems like they're only open for takeaway right now, so I can't speak to the Ambiance. I've been a few times, and ordered "safe" options at first like butter chicken and garlic naan (both wonderful) but now that I trust them I have been getting deeper into the menu, and most things are still great. We did a huge family takeout for this restaurant. We ordered tikka masala, butter chicken, lamb vindaloo, chicken vindaloo, spinach panneer, vegetable briyani, garlic naan ll, and the regular naan. I've never had garlic naan to be orange, soooo a prewarning to those who may be perplexed as well. Delicious dishes! My favorite was the butter chicken because it was not oily, and made beautifully. Everything was flavorful, and I loved how many big chunks of cheese was in the paneer. Our son loved it. This feast fed 6 adults and 1 very hungry toddler. With leftovers at the end! My son basically licked his plate clean. The only thing that was bothersome was that this restaurant did not add eating utensils into the takeaway bag, which seemed odd. We went here after our usual spot was closed. It was really good. Since it is takeout only, and we were in a hotel using their disposable cups as bowls, I didn't get any photos. The food we got though was fantastic. I got the chicken curry with rice. The amount of rice it comes with is huge. The chicken was succulent and tender. The flavors were strong. The mild was mild. There was a bit of spice on the back of my tongue, but not gut busting or heartburn inducing. My partner got the lamb palak. While he asked for medium spice, it came as mild, but he was happy with it. It's a deep and earthy dish, made more so by the lamb. The lamb was really well-seasoned. The rice is deliciously seasoned and a perfect texture. We will definitely be heading back. read more

We have been here quite a few times, and are never disappointed. They have a nice lunch special. I always love their chana masala. We buy plenty of the spice mixes they sell whenever we are there. Parking is very convenient, and it is pretty close to the freeway, making it an easy stop. read more

Sorry to say, but it's very.....so so..... Tried this place recently. Has a lot of good reviews, and upon entering their shop to pick up my order, I noticed they received awards. I've eaten a lot of different regional types of Indian food in the SF Bay, and did not think this place was great. It definitely did not give my tastebuds any excitement. One of my orders stated like Campbell's Cream of Chicken Mushroom soup was used as a base.....or maybe something canned...that canned flavor was there somehow. I'll give it a second chance sometime in case they were having an off day when I ordered. Though, I'm inclined to not order here a gain for a few reasons: - It is take-out only which means having to use plastic to-go containers, and therefore supporting the plastic industry and what often turns into single-use waste. - They put the hot food in the plastic containers, something which I have heard can cause the plastic to release chemicals into the food (I have heard this, but I have not yet read up on research that solidly verifies the type of plastic container they use will do this - I will eventually look into this). I'd like to remark, they ARE VERY NICE PEOPLE. read more

Love this delicious place and this has quickly become our go-to takeout place. I don't like to brag, but I grew up in a town called Farmington Hills, Michigan, with abundant and delicious Indian food (not a joke; it really is good there!), and this place measures up! My spouse gets the meat combo with lamb curry, and it's easily two meals. I usually get the veggie combo, which is also easily two meals, one of which makes me uncomfortably full. My absolute favorite is the navratan korma, which has perfectly cooked veggies, in a creamy nutty sauce, with just a hint of sweetness. So perfect over rice, I could eat it all day. I also like the shahi paneer, which is similarly creamy and delicious. And if you're someone unlike me who likes things a bit lighter, the eggplant is also very good, with a smoky spice that goes perfectly with naan. For those who like spicy like me, their spice levels do skew mild, which I've found to be true for most places in the area. The only thing I haven't liked is the pakora, because I find the breading to be too dense, but that was just to try and not a regular item we order anyway. They can get really busy, and the wait time has been up to forty on a weekend night before (they always let us know though and it's never been a surprise). The owners (I assume they are the owners because they're always there) are so kind and accommodating and you can tell they really care. Food is usually good - if you like spicy make sure they know you want it extra hot. Na'an is a highlight. Love their Chicken Tikka Masala - I only go here once a year or so now - I have largely quit going here because of their decision to maintain takeout service only since Covid. We did pick-up. The food was just as fabulous as it always is. 1. Butter Chicken-We always order this dish no matter what. It's velvety and scrumptious. I asked for them to put chicken tikka in it instead of regular chicken. I love the flavor of chicken tikka. It was a very good decision. I ordered medium spicy, but didn't notice any heat. 2. Chicken Korma-We don't get this all the time, but occasionally. I love the addition of raisins and nuts. Can't go wrong with it. I ordered medium spicy. Again, it was mild to my palette. 3. Chicken Biryani-I love this dry rice dish. I usually put sauce from other dishes on top, and this transforms the flavors. I ordered medium spicy, and it definitely had perfect heat. 4. Aloo Gobhi, sans the aloo-I love the spices on the vegetables, but I'm not crazy about potatoes, so I asked for just cauliflower. It was a good move. I don't like my curry spicy and they are able to make curry with -No Spicy . I have been to restaurants where I tell them I don't like spicy food and they tell me it's not but it ends Up being spicy anyways and I can't eat it! The customer service is also great, they always are smiling and happy here. They make sure you leave satisfied. Amazing quality food for an amazing price! I come from a town with plenty of delicious Indian food, and after coming to Washington, I have been craving it like nothing else. On a whim, my friend and I headed here after spending a weekend backpacking through Olympic National Park. We were really blown away. You get SO MUCH food for the price here, and it's super high quality, delicious stuff. We got in right before the lunch rush and were seated right away and taken gracious care of. The staff here really do care about you and your needs and are incredibly helpful and kind. We got our food quickly and tucked in. Like I said earlier, the portions were crazy big & everything was delicious. Some really amazing food for a great price in a welcoming atmosphere. The butter chicken was nuclear pink in color and had absolutely no flavor or no spices, not sure if they're cooking to please the 'local demographic' But this is far from good butter chicken and could use a little more flavor, less of the nuclear pink color and some spice. Vegetable Samosas were good but green chutney that came with was HORRIBLE!! Ruined one of the samosas before that fact was realized. The major highlight was the Naan. Wonderful flavor and texture.
