    Butter Pork Momo

Food was incredible and the family is so kind! I got the butter pork momo and rice, and it was amazing. Not really spicy, but full of flavor, and very generous portion. Took less than 5 minutes and very fresh. Cannot wait to come back and try other things! Highly recommend!!

My husband was so excited to know that a Nepalese restaurant opened in Capital Mall because he loves momos so I was happy to try them for the first time with him. We both loved the momos he ordered (steamed pork momos and fried chicken momos). Both were so flavorful and had a good filling to wrapper ratio. The yellow sauce that came with it (I believe it was some sort of curry based sauce) was so good and went perfectly with the momos. Definitely will be returning here in the future to try more!

    Pork dumpling with butter sauce

First time trying Nepalese food. Since the food court is limited in options we decided to give Momo King a try (my daughter was quite hesitant since she had never tasted Nepalese food). We were pleasantly surprised by the pork dumplings with butter sauce (it tasted almost like a mild tikka masala sauce with dumplings). We also enjoyed the sweet lassie which tasted like a sweetened yogurt drink with yogurt flakes & cardamom. My daughter asked why Nepalese food wasn't more promoted so here I am writing this review to spread awareness to the cuisine.

    Butter Chicken Momo.

Every culture has dumplings but this is the first time I have enjoyed Persian Dumplings. Amazing. I ordered the Butter Chicken Dumplings and ate every bite. Will be back again. Quick and polite service. Eating in the mall adds people watching to the meal. Such fun!

Very nice workers, hot food, and unique flavors. The dipping sauce is delicious! These are like what I had in Kathmandu.

I had the chili momo, and damn. Properly spicy, delicious, healthy portions. Worth it, even if you aren't already at the mall.

The outer layer was nicely crisp without being too greasy, but the dough was a bit on the thicker side. Inside, the chicken filling was mild but still flavorful. The sauces on the side were decent. We went around 6pm and were able to find parking and no line for ordering. We ordered fried momo, steamed momo, chili momo, and butter momo. Took about 15 minutes. Young man at the counter was incredibly friendly and helpful with our questions. The chef is from Nepal I believe and he's kind and a wonderful cook! Chill momo was the of the show. Bursting with the flavors and spices. Each momo is coated. You'll get onions and bell peppers as well. This was my favorite of all the momo. It is spicy-ish, but everyone's spice level is different. I love spice so this I'd recommend to anyone who also enjoys spicy foods. Butter momo would be the closest to first place for me. I'd suggest this one for someone who doesn't want spicy. Similar sauce to the curry that comes with butter chicken. Sweet and creamy. They give you plenty of sauce and it's delicious. Fried & steamed chicken momo were wonderful and classic. Our friend who dined with us is from Nepal and said she believes this might be the most authentic place for momo. our/her other momo spot is Indian-Nepali kitchen. This place also had fried rice and chow mein and a couple of other options that we will certainly be back for to try. You won't regret coming here, there's no bad option on their menu and you'll leave feeling happy and full.

Vindaloo came with rice and I would try 4 star next time. Zesty as listed in the menu is spot on. Love it! I was worried the momos (10ish) would just be standard dumplings and was pleased with the ingredients before trying the sauce which complimented them nicely. The dish would be an excellent appetizer to share for 3-5 easy. I would have ordered a smaller portion but maybe I missed it. Take home it is! Big enough place for several groups and the tables are spaced so it doesn't feel crowded. I arrived towards the end of the night so not busy, but still several parties. Prompt service, cozy lighting, and casual pop sounding music at conversation volume. Part of Lake Forest Park Town Center, there's plenty of parking. The paneer was a little rubbery, the naan was somewhat tough and crunchy on the edges, and the samosa dough was too thick. In the future, would come back for the momos. Service was quick and friendly. Called for a pick up order and it was ready in 25 min. We did not dine in, but it looked like plenty of seating available inside.

We were really just going in to see what they had... and somehow that turned into an order. You know how that goes. Titi was the one preparing our food, and she was amazing about my gluten-free needs. She actually got everything new in the kitchen to make sure there was no cross-contamination. Because of that, we had to wait a little longer, but honestly, I didn't mind at all. I'd rather wait knowing they're taking it seriously and I can actually enjoy my food without worrying! She asked what level of sauce we wanted, and I confidently said medium. She also gave me some mild on the side... and apparently she knew something I didn't. Listen, I eat spicy food, but that medium was NOT medium. That thing was SPICY! The dumplings were really good, and now I definitely want to go back and try the beef and chicken ones too. The portion was actually pretty good as well. One order was enough for hubby and me since we weren't very hungry. If we had gone in actually hungry, though? Yeah... we definitely would've needed two orders. Super down to earth restaurant. great experience, and I really appreciated how seriously Titi took the cross contamination issue. For someone with celiac disease, that means a lot. So yes I will be back ;-)

We tried their chicken momocha, steamed dumplings, 6 pieces for $13. Unfortunately, they were only lukewarm. They had a long line; I suspect the dumplings are not getting reheated for long enough. I know they are all fully-cooked/steamed and brought here to be warmed and served, so I wasn't concerned about food poisoning. Each momo is well stuffed, densely packed and meaty (much better than the momo food truck in Tulalip) with a pleasantly thin skin. Overall quality of the momo is in fact very good. We are only disappointed that they are lukewarm. The medium sauce is excellent. The pop-up menu has less options compared to the physical restaurant and cost more. The same chicken momocha, steamed dumplings cost $14.95 for 10 pieces if the online menu is accurate. That is a much better price. I still want to try their pan-fried version. Those look good.

The momos from this Indian-Nepali restaurant (kitchen?) had been something I've heard things about…read more So when I came up here, I was quite excited to give them a shot. Not exactly sure what to get, we ordered the momo combo, the malai momos, and the tandoori momos - all chicken. These did more than live up to the hype. They're simply the best momos I've ever had. The sample size on that isn't huge, as I've only had it from about three or four different places, but these blow those other places out of the water so much it's crazy. The quality here is simply spectacular - every kind of momo present is so delightful to consume. The level of marination on each of these is highly impressive. The momo combo comes with sandheko, steamed, chili, and fried types. Each of these are awesome. The fried momo has a great crunch without being overly bready. It reminds me a little of a turnover, but savory. The sandheko momo is dripping with a nutty, oily flavor. The chili momo isn't super spicy, but contains just enough for your tongue to feel that it's there - and it has a beautiful deep red color. The malai momos are also awesome. These are nutty and creamy to the max - drenched in sauce yet the dough still stays firm on the outside. The combination of flavors with the chicken feels like it shouldn't work, but it just does in a way that's purely addicting. Out of the three orders though, my favorite has to be the tandoori momos. These are plump, juicy, and the reddish brown exterior feels like they actually were cooked in a tandoor. They're the only ones crispy on the outside, yet the chicken on the inside stays the same level of soft and juicy as the other ones. I should mention how good the filling - despite being ground chicken - is. It tastes better than a lot of the pork filling I've had in other dumplings. We also had the garlic basil naan, with tomato achar. While the achar wasn't my favorite as it felt too liquidy, the naan was quite soft and enjoyable to even eat plain. Also the momo sauce wasn't my favorite either as it felt too tomato-forward. Each order was around $15-17, which for 10 pieces, I'd say is a decent enough price. Overall, I find it hard to believe that these momos will be topped anytime soon. 9.15/10

The combination platter is a great option if you want to try different dumpling flavors. I especially liked the chicken filling. It tasted fresh, flavorful and delicious. They have a good variety at good prices, which definitely impressed me and I hope they don't raise it as they get more popular. The service was polite and friendly and there's plenty of seating. The only downside is that the location isn't the greatest, but the restaurant itself is nice and comfortable inside. I'll definitely be coming back to try more of their momo.

*Vegetarian Foodie Review*…read more We were craving some Indian food after trying other cuisines during our trip, so we found this place and give it a try! Ordered: 1) Shahi Dal (Vegan) - 5/5: We requested it mild, and it was the best dal we have ever had in Seattle, and the closest to what you get in India - simple and best. I never imagined we would find such yummy Indian food in Bainbridge Island. Must try! It came with rice. 2) Kadhai Paneer (medium spicy) - 4/5: Very flavorful too. It was already spicy for me, so if you can't handle much heat, stick to medium or go for the mild option. It came with rice too. 3) Mango Lassi - 5/5: Pretty good too. My 5 year old drank most of it and only let us have 2 sips/ 4) Garlic Naan - 4/5: I liked that it was thin and not too thick like you get at many places which is exactly the way I like it. I just wish it was more garlicky, there was very little garlic in it. 5) Onion Salad - 5/5: Comes with onions. jalapenos, and lemon. Good portion size, too. Usually onion salads are too tiny and not enough, but not here. We totally loved it! Thanks for making this such an enjoyable experience for us. We literally licked our plates clean; every bowl was empty. Service took a little longer than expected, but when the food is this good, who cares? Just something to keep in mind if you are in a rush. Prince was working front of house by himself literally running to get to everyone and making naan as well. Anyway our worries were for naught because we were thoroughly impressed by the food. We got the tandoori chicken which was juicy and tender, with a good char to it. The sauce to complement it was perfect too. The chili garlic naan was crisp and great for dipping into all the different dishes we got as well. Bhindi masala was bursting with flavor and we chose tofu as our protein which soaked up all that savoriness. Saag paneer was creamy and generous with the amount of paneer. We also got a small side of basmati rice but it was enough for 3 of us and cooked perfectly. The mango lassi was not too sweet (the highest of compliments!) They seem to be a family business so I feel extra great supporting them. The place was decorated nicely and the seating was comfortable. We thought the prices were fair for such delicious food and portion sizes. There was a bit of a wait to get the food but it was well worth the taste! I look forward to returning to try more of their menu.
