Tried this spot for the first time and wow, everything was delicious! We got the non vegetarian chefs special with samosa and pakora, and the flavors were amazing. The Chana masala ended up being my favorite, and the butter chicken was my boyfriend's favorite, and the portions were big enough that we could've shared. The staff was super kind and helpful since we were new to Indian cuisine. The naan was fresh and fluffy, and HUGE. We ordered the aloo and garlic naan and it was definitely more than we expected. The decor and friendly staff made the restaurant very welcoming. Can't wait to come back and try new items. read more

This is not indian food. No where close to authentic completely bland. Paneer rubbery curry weird colors, paneer tika was bright red with a sweet tomato taste. Other foods like the chana masala completely lacking flavor at all. Gulab jamun was cold as if kept in a fridge. Servers were very friendly but food not worth it. read more

We stop by here a few times traveling to Washington. We ordered okra curry. My husband's choice not mine. The onions in the curry were really good. The okra.... If it was the small, tender pieces the okra was great, but the larger pieces were chewy and woody. The chicken Saag: The saag was really good. The chicken they use was just tandoori chopped up and put in the saag. I prefer it when the chicken is cooked in the saag itself. The naan is luscious and fluffy. Atmosphere: okay. The place is small and it can feel a bit crowded. Service: good! The staff were very friendly. Food: delicious! Portions are quite big we took our leftovers home. Everything tasted great. I will say, the lady (owner maybe?) standing in the front near the door was constantly looking at us which made us feel a bit uncomfortable as we were trying to eat in peace lol. Why do I always forget how much I love Indian food. So often sis and I want to go out, can't think of anything we want, and we end up at the same places we always go. But last week I had a yen for Indian food and when Sis asked if I wanted to go out for dinner, I suddenly remembered that I wanted Indian. Being in Lacey, Yelp recommended Curry House and I'm so glad it did because this place is great. It's a small restaurant but the decor is welcoming and they really use the space well because there are lots of tables and chairs. The food is Deelicious! That butter chicken was so good and Sis loved her chicken Korma. The samosas are super spicy, which was a little too hot for me, but the main entrees made up for that. We will definitely be back and we will return often, especially since we found out that they have a lunch buffet for $15 per person which cuts the dinner price in half. So good. Let's go! read more

Stopped by Curry House this week for a quick weeknight dinner with a few colleagues. Good indian food but I have had better at other places for sure. We stopped by around 7:30 PM and there was plenty of seating available. We ordered their paneer pakora, fish pakora, butter chicken and eggplant bharta along with garlic naan. For beverages we tried a local Indian beer - Flying Horse (delicious lager). Overall the food was good but I had a few observations. 1. Butter Chicken: Excess of ketchup and alot of food color added. Check pics for validity. 2. Fish Pakora: Both fish and paneer pakoras were good but the chutneys on the table also had food color in them especially the green chutney which had a raw onion kinda smell in it. 3. Eggplant Bharta: This was a better dish out of all things we ordered. 4. Garlic Naan: Super soft fresh garlic naan and very tasty. However, the garlic is orange in color on the naan. Food color for garlic too? I honestly thought it was grated carrot until my colleague pointed out that its garlic so not sure! Service was super quick and seemed like the server was in a hurry to serve us fast and make sure we leave fast. Ample parking in front of this place. Overall though the food was good I am not sure if I would stop by again cos I can see them add food color to the items and some items were okay. read more

Lunch buffet for about $15 is a deal and the bonus is that it's great Indian Food - various curries, naan, salad, dessert. Mostly mild so it's very accessible, of course they also provide sauces if you need to kick it up a notch. The menu is available for those who prefer to select a specific dish, which we used for the little one who hasn't yet diversified their palate to include curries but the buffet is where it's at. We visited for the lunch buffet today and, while the food tasted good, I was very disappointed to find two hairs in the goat dish. I politely brought this to the server's attention, suggesting that they should be more careful. Then he explained it might be a "supply chain issue" or that the hairs could have come from the goat itself. This response sounded unprofessional to me, as it seemed like an attempt to shift blame rather than address a food safety issue. I hope this matter is taken more seriously in the future to ensure better hygiene and service standards. Don't recommend this place and will never visit again. read more

Love the place. Mostly I like the way they do the lunch buffet. Not because of the price, but I think it gives pretty idea to introduce Indian dishes, also gives good amount of vegetarian varieties. I was really disappointed in how bland all the dishes were. They all tasted the same. No heat, no complimenting tastes of sweet, hot, tangy, spicy etc. Same goes for the condiments.
