Amazing quality food for an amazing price! I come from a town with plenty of delicious Indian food, and after coming to Washington, I have been craving it like nothing else. On a whim, my friend and I headed here after spending a weekend backpacking through Olympic National Park. We were really blown away. You get SO MUCH food for the price here, and it's super high quality, delicious stuff. We got in right before the lunch rush and were seated right away and taken gracious care of. The staff here really do care about you and your needs and are incredibly helpful and kind. We got our food quickly and tucked in. Like I said earlier, the portions were crazy big & everything was delicious. Some really amazing food for a great price in a welcoming atmosphere. What happened to Curry Corner? Wow! I am so disappointed. We used to love this place. Stopped by for their takeout lunch special the other day (no sit down service at this time) and I could hardly believe how far Curry Corner standards seem to have fallen. The butter chicken we got was fluorescent pink. Seriously. It should not look like this. The naan was really good, but the spinach and lentils also both tasted kind of muddy and just...not fresh. This place used to be the best thing going at lunch. Did they change hands? Lose their kitchen staff? To top it all off, both of us ended up with heartburn later that afternoon. I *never* get heartburn, ever. What in the world? I don't know what has gone wrong but Curry Corner was a total miss for us. We may give it one more try but I think it's probably time for us to find a new favorite lunch spot. So sad. read more

Had the Chicken curry, Eggplant Bhartha, garlic naan to-go. Delicious, flavorful, authentic, slightly spicy. Large portions that come with rice and are at reasonable prices. There is also a small Indian grocery store in the restaurant but it's closed off during the pandemic. Great food on cold, rainy nights. read more

The owners are polite and nice very sweet but the food is not at all upto the mark.. we enjoyed drinking the haywards 5000 equivalent beer and Tak Mahal beer.. unfortunately the appetizers accompanying the beer were not that great..we ordered the chicken tikka kebab, seekh kebab, lamb kebab and the fish kebab..to our surprise all these kebab dishes had the same sauce and dint taste good at all even though the meat and fish was fresh not frozen.. the dal tadka was nice to eat with rice and so was the garlic naan super soft and freshly made..the rogan josh was nice lamb gravy but the butter chicken was a tad too sweet for our palette.. all the gravies visibly had food color added including the chutneys on the table which kind of kills the food appeal.. i am sure this place can do well and the servers and owners are really nice but food quality has to improve multi folds.. read more

we've gotten takeout from here a few times over the past year, and the quality has always been top notch. it's a standout place that's tucked away behind a gas station -- if you're thinking about going here, don't be put off! the food is wonderful and the service is excellent! at the end of april, my husband and i actually inquired about catering an event (which they don't technically offer). we spoke to the owner himself who agreed to accommodate our order, and the chefs came in extra early so that we could have our food ready as soon as they opened in order to get it to the event on time. the staff (and chefs!) helped me load up my entire car with rice, chutneys, tandoori chicken, and samosas. my car smelled HEAVENLY, and the food was simply divine. it was a huge hit with lots of people who had never tried indian cuisine before, too. we will be regulars here for as long as we live in the area (and, it's worth travelling to, honestly)! read more

I come here all the time and I've honestly never had better food! -Especially vegetarian-. I don't think they're doing eat in during Covid, but it's alright because they package the food hot and fresh for you to pick up and it's just as good at home! Maybe even better because you can lounge while you eat!! My friend always orders for me(because I'm not familiar with the vegetarian options) and when he calls he asks them what's fresh and orders whatever they recommend. The Malai Kofta (Cashew(?) based sauce with vegetable 'dumplings') and Navrattan Korma (Mixed veggies in a creamy sauce) are my absolute favorite but I would honestly eat whatever they served me. This is the first and only place I will ever eat cauliflower (Aloo Gobi) and I suggest you try it as well. The raita is perfect, every daal is perfect, (especially daal makhni) the kheer is perfect, and the people are kind and welcoming. You can taste the love, time and effort they put into their craft and it's absolutely wonderful. Anyone considering going here needs to go for it. I promise you won't regret! If I could give zero stars I would. No seating inside continues. HELLO Covid is over! The quality used to be very good. It's disgusting! All heavy thick sauces with cheap cuts of meat. My husband and I were going to Astoria and made a stop at this place for dinner based on the awesome yelp reviews. We ordered a Vegetarian Thali and Vegetarian Biryani. Biryani was decent but we really liked Vegetarian Thali. Palak Paneer and Kheer were amazing but found Navratna Korma a bit oily. Taste wise the food was delicious! The dishes were spiced well and not too hot. The medium spice level brought the perfect amount of heat for me-- it had a nice kick but it didn't sting or takeaway my sense of taste if that makes sense lol Our food came out relatively quick as well. The only thing that was a little off for me was the service. The staff were friendly but I also felt rushed a lot in ordering and in finishing my food. The place is more on the smaller side and I understand the efficiency in getting dishes out of the way and the check at the soonest opportunity to get more customers seated but that wasn't the case for when I was there. Other than that, Curry Corner is a great Indian restaurant to try in the Lacey area! Highly recommend giving it a try! read more

Another good Indian restaurant in Lacey! This is probably my second favorite (behind curry house which is just down the street). I usually get chicken tikka masala and aloo gobi, the entrees come with a choice of rice or naan. I do like that their aloo gobi has larger cauliflower chunks, but their chicken tikka masala is more coconuty than I prefer. The staff there is always friendly. Because of covid and the rate vaccinations are going, curry corner has a sign saying that they will not be open for dine in until the summer. But their food is delicious to go as well! Highly recommend coming here. Also, their lunch special is easily two to three meals, and costs about $15! read more

Decent curry, friendly staff. I haven't had the chance to dine-in due to COVID, but I've gotten takeout plenty of times. I'm not sure if they're offering dine-in options anymore, but if the do, the seating seems to be pretty tight. They have a lot of side options like dahl (a spiced split pea soup-like dish) and vegetables. They've also sold me containers of mint and tamarind chutney that I use with my homemade samosas. So do to this pandemic I could not eat in. As I order my take out I looked around the place, looked clean but what really stood out is they have a shelf where you can purchase some spices and curry among other things. Let me start out by saying there lunch special is amazing you get a choice between 4 or 5 different meals plus a vegetable and some naan bread. I got the butter chicken and it was great. You could really taste the buttery flavor and whatever curry they use. The only down side they gave me 3 choices of mild medium and hot and I selected medium because I don't know what there take on hot was let me tell the medium had very little spice. I also selected the cauliflower and potato vegetable dish. This was also very tasty as I think they used a yellow curry on this which made it burst with flavor and complemented the bread nicely. I also was working with some one who is strictly vegan and he seemed to be pretty happy with this place also. So if you find yourself in Lacy Olympia area check out there lunch special because it's pretty amazing for the price and how much food you get! read more
