Fantastic atmosphere and great service. A complete feast and fairly priced. I got the Chapman Burrito but swapped out the red meat for the chicken. It came out on a sizzling plate you'd normally get fajitas on - so great! Flavors were unique - really happy with my choice. Sweet little spot in Orange with pretty good food. The complimentary chips and salsa comes with refried beans, the salsa had a kick which I liked a lot. The beans were tasty as well. I ordered the Chapman burrito which comes in a piping hot pan covered in a delicious salsa concoction consisting a creamy tomatillo salsa, melted cheddar, sour cream and avocado on top. Inside is filled with steak, chorizo, refried beans, Mexican rice, pico de gallo. The taste is a hot gooey mix of happiness. Definitely give it a try if you're a burrito aficionado. I'm not a fan of the filler of Mexican rice in a burrito but the sauce helps mask it and it works nice here. The carne Asada plate was a typical plate you can find at most places and it was great. The meat was flavored nice and I loved the grilled jalapeño and onions that come with it. Overall the food was excellent. The restaurant has its own parking and has a nice vibe and atmosphere inside. It's very welcoming. We showed up on a Friday night and were sat right away. The service was phenomenal. Great find on Yelp. I was in town for the weekend and always on the hunt for good spots, and this one didn't disappoint. The food was really good, and the service matched -- friendly and smooth all around. It comes on a cast iron hot plate and is smothered in a cheese sauce. A hint of spice but very well flavored. The free chips, salsa and refried beans are good. The salsa is a little spicy but complex in a good way. The beans were good and a different type of appetizer, if you haven't been to Guadalajara or some parts of Northern Mexico where this is a typical appetizer, it may seem odd. It's stuffed with steak, chorizo, rice, refried beans, and pico de gallo, and topped with spicy creamy tomatillo salsa, cheese, sour cream, and avocado. It's the definition of a loaded wet burrito and it's as delicious as it looks. Chilaquiles aren't something I always go for but I got to try some of the volcanic chilaquiles because someone else at my table ordered it and it definitely changed my mind. Serving it in a roasted molcajete salsa and queso oaxaca is a gamechanger. It's topped with two eggs of your choice, which we did medium, sour cream, onion, and cilantro. This combo is absolutely unexpected and genius. To start, my friend and I shared an order of their loaded French fries ($13.99) with steak (+$2.50). The fries come topped with melted cheese, guacamole, pico de gallo + sour cream. This was a delicious fry experience - it's the very best kind of carne asada fries except plated and not in a styrofoam box. Keeping it classy ~ Because I am true to myself, I ordered the chilaquiles divorciados - red and green sauce for anyone who is indecisive ($15.99). Reviews said the portions were generous so ordered anyway. when arriving, they said they hadn't received any online order and asked "do you still want us to make it?", despite us already paying for it. they then took another 30 minutes on top of the original wait time. the hour wait was long enough, and once we started eating, the portions were extremely inadequate for the price. the mole enchiladas were pretty much comparable to street taco size, and three of them were 20 dollars. absolutely will not be eating here again, orange is full of great Mexican places, this is not one of them. read more

The mole packed a lot of flavor. I'm a sucker for refried beans and the rice that came with it. Corn tortillas were A+. Food took quite a bit to come out. What leaves me to a disappointment was the drinks. The mango margaritas were served in a small tall glass and tasted similar to a premade mix from a bottle. The sangria was served warm. By warm, I'm not talking that it was room temperature warm and didn't have enough ice. It really was served warm in temperature which left me a bit baffled. We had a large group celebrating one of our coworkers' promotion so the table required a lot of service and the staff nailed it. He didn't lose his smile the whole time and check our table frequently, which was very nice and helpful. It was unique that they serve you chips and salsa with baked beans on the side that I liked. Stopped by here for dinner tonight and had an amazing experience. Service was friendly, kind, and helpful, food was awesome, and atmosphere was clean and comfortable. Good pricing for the quality and portion. They were so kind with my young son and even brought him his food first and they thought of all the details: they even cut the chicken we ordered into bite size pieces for him and gave us a plastic spoon without us asking. I came here with my inlaws and ended up with a soup that had cut up hot dogs. And did I mention that it was super salty? We got the parilla that was OK and had a lot of food. We had leftovers, but still. That soup is something that I can't forget. The taste of it was so basic and the salinity didn't help. The people who work here are very nice and I'm sure that they try their best. They had some cute little corners, the whole spot wasn't open, but I believe that they had a tribute to Frida Kahlo and some other stuff, so it was cute and I liked the look of it.
