On a Friday night, my friend & I pulled up to a packed restaurant which is always a good sign. Lots of parking! Horchata: tasted smooth not chalky, no cinnamon, half our large drink was ice but still 9.5/10 Fish burrito: cut in half, big size, soft texture verge of mushy 8.8/10 Al pastor torta: cut in half, meat was decent, not as big as burrito 7.5/10 There were so many employees and tables with some background music to vibe to. A worker came to explain the menu while we're waiting in line and he gave us a free fish taco to try since it was our first time! Definitely coming back :)

Finally, the fish taco king comes to Orange County! Long awaited, this restaurant fully lives up to the expectations of its franchise! We went on a weekday evening and of course, got the fish taco offering. To our surprise, the line was relatively short and our food came out relatively quickly. For reference, the other locations generally have quite a long wait to be seated and served even with larger seating space. Here, there's ample seating to seat ~80 people. Personally, I was concerned that the food quality was going to be subpar based on the short wait time. I was glad to find out that my fears were unwarranted. The tacos were amazing, consistent with how they are at sister branches. The fish was crispy on the outside, plentiful/juicy on the inside. I am thoroughly pleased with this experience and will be back time and time again when I am craving fish tacos! Highly recommend for those in the area for the same!

Taco Nazo specializes in fish tacos and this is their newest location. This location has a drive through as well as a large seating area. Ordering is done at the counter and a staff member brings out the food to one's table. I went with 2 fish tacos and a shrimp taco. Fish/Shrimp Tacos ($4.49) - Each taco was priced the same. Both the fish and shrimp come battered and have a nice crunch to them and are served on corn tortillas. They are topped off with some cabbage, pico de gallo and white sauce. The fish is flaky on the inside and the shrimp was impressive. Overall I really enjoyed the tacos here. 3 was plenty for me and they appear to be larger than the typical street tacos. When I visited during the weekdays for lunch the place was packed.

We ordered: - 20 oz shrimp ceviche: was very good and I would order again. Not enough tostadas for the amount of ceviche though - Shrimp tacos: these were good but immediately forgotten after I took a bite of the fish taco - Fish taco: definitely the star of the show. My favorite bite was the charred+salted pepper on the side. YUM! Oddly enough, I felt like everything was ever so slightly lacking in flavor so I was pouring the table side Chile Habanero sauce on everything. There's no salsa bar so I didn't realize they had house made salsa until I saw the other tables. I got to try the house made salsa but also felt it was lacking in flavor. Not bad but not great. Customer service was excellent but it seemed like there were too many employees walking around trying to figure out what to do. I was trying to look at the menu and figure out what I wanted but I felt obligated to listen to the staff explain the whole menu to me. I really just wanted to have a moment of silence to think. Plenty of tables, family friendly and clean because of ample staff.

This place is known for there fried fish tacos, don't be disappointed when you order something else and you say it's not as special. Fast order fast table runners. I would recommend to taco nazo to check in on tables and as if they want refills and maybe see how you can make the moments more special.

First time here and definitely not my last! We came in for a fundraiser for my kids' baseball team and had such a great experience. The staff especially Crystal had amazing positive energy from the moment we ordered and made everyone feel welcome. The food was delicious and everything came out great. Thank you for supporting local youth sports and our community. we'll absolutely be back!

I was craving a fish burrito and they're know for their fish tacos! So here I am. I've went to the location in Bellflower but it's been a hot minute and they brought it down to Santa Ana! I was reading reviews and they mentioned their fish burrito isn't as crispy and the rice and beans threw them off so I asked for rice and beans on the side and I thought the burrito was yummy! I also had to get a side of fish tacos to compare and it's definitely cruncher and crisper and just as yummy. Probably better. They also had a shrimp tacos and I had to get it. It's battered but still crunchy and yummy! Their chili! Omg so good. It comes with each dish and it's so flavorful and spicy! Well it's a hit or miss with the spicy chili. Normally it isn't but the one I got was spicy but so good! Also got their horchata and it's so flavorful too! For some reason it reminded me of a carrot cake cause of the spice? Cinnamon? Regardless it was yummy! I'm excited to come back to try the other stuff! So yummy!

LOVE LOVE LOVE that Taco Nazo opened a new location in Santa Ana. This new location has a drive through attached, an easy parking lot with plenty of parking, and spacious seating. Upon coming in, staff are super welcoming. Almost a little too overbearing sense though. It seems like they want to give every single customer a lot of attention, but there is some downside when they block the line by having lengthy conversations with an indecisive customer, and it wastes my time when I'm ready to order at the cashier. I ordered their Combo #1 ($18.75) that comes with any 3 tacos, rice, beans, chips, salsa, chile gueritas, and a regular drink. I upgraded the drink to a Horchata (Additional $1.25). They gave me a number to take to any available table. There was also a lot of staff in the dining area cleaning the tables quickly and chatting with the guests. Once again, there is friendliness and then there is a disturbance. If I'm wearing headphones watching something on my phone, I'm not trying to have a long conversation with a stranger at a place that isn't even a sit down restaurant. Hospitality is fine but this was a smidge too much. As for the food, I LOVE THE FOOD. I just want the food and be left alone. Maybe next time I should just go through the drive through or order togo. Their fish tacos are the bomb, and their potato taco is so unique. I also got the al pastor since it's usually one of my favorites but I wouldn't say it's a specialty here. Stick with the fish taco, shrimp taco, and potato taco. So happy there's a Taco Nazo in OC! I can count on them for my fish taco cravings.

Saas! These tacos go hard. Taco Nazo is a Romero family operation, and they run a tight menu with a focus on robust flavors and fresh vegetarian and seafood tacos and tortilla-based dishes. If you know Ensenada-style fish tacos, you know the reputation, and the Romeros deliver on it. Grabbed a taco pack with ricotta and papas, guao! My tastebuds were dancing. Each bite was full of texture and flavor with lettuce, salsa crema, and limón. They're known for their Ensenada-style fish tacos, but the vegetarian versions are fire. Don't sleep on them. If for some reason tacos ain't calling, you got choices. Tortas, burritos, and ceviche are also on the menu. Service was fast, food came out quick and hot, exactly how you want it. I prefer to dine in and eat everything fresh off the grill. Feels like a waste to let these cool down, even though they'd still be delicious. Te lo recomiendo.

Same great tacos in a new location. These still are the best fish tacos around. And I love their salsas too - there's a mild (yellow?) one, medium spice green salsa, and a hot red one. The roasted peppers, rice and beans are great too. Also got a side order of the ricotta dorado - WOW! Crispy outside and delicious cheesiness inside.

Fried shrimp torta. We prefer grilled shrimp with the torta. Price is a bit higher for grilled shrimp.

This has become one of our favorite spots now! Their fish tacos are so good. It's a very generous portion of fish and it is lightly breaded. It was my favorite! We enjoyed the shrimp ceviche - nice and refreshing. We also enjoyed the torta. The asada burrito was on the smaller side. There is also a "secret menu" that you can order off menu if you want. Grilled shrimp is an option (which we prefer over fried) but you have to expressly state that when you order. If not, they will provide you with their breaded and fried shrimp.

I am in HEAVEN! I used to go to the Taco Nazo on Valley Blvd and the sometimes the one in La Puente before I moved to Orange County in 2001. There's a handful of restaurants I missed so much and Taco Nazo was one of them! Sometimes I'd get the shrimp cocktail but most of the time I'd get a shrimp taco. To this day I haven't eaten a shrimp taco nearly as good as Taco Nazo. Sharkey's restaurant used to make beer battered shrimp tacos but definitely not nearly as good. Last night I was searching for somewhere to eat lunch that wasn't too far from the airport because my cousin and I would be having lunch together before I drooped her off for her flight home. When I saw Taco Nazo in Santa Ana listed on Yelp I almost started crying! We pulled up around 1:30 and the place was packed--definitely a good sign. I went to wash my hands first and noticed how clean the restroom was--another good sign. I ordered the 2 taco combo with shrimp tacos. My cousin ordered the 2 taco combo with 1 fish and 1 al pastor tacos plus a small shrimp cocktail to share. The tables inside were all clean. One of the workers was helping take care of the seating area and was checking on/chatting with customers. I loved this. Our food came out in a reasonable time and OMG that first bite of my shrimp taco just took me back to some great memories. It was DELICIOUS!!! The shrimp cocktail was also SO DELICIOUS!!! I don't think I'll ever be able to drive through Santa Ana without stopping for a taco. And you know what the bonus is? Taco Nazo HAS A DRIVE THRU!!! I'm so happy!

Thanks to Restaurant Week, we stumbled upon this gem, and we are so grateful. The hospitality alone would earn five stars. But then came the food. The tacos? Absolutely exceptional. The steak was tender and flavorful in a way that reminded me of eating throughout Mexico, you could actually taste the meat. A light, gentle pickle of vegetables on top, minimal cheese, nothing heavy or greasy. These are not the American-style tacos drowning in a pound of melted cheese. These are the real thing.
