The staff and Store Manager were very friendly. They informed us that Cedric and Anthony were running late due to traffic and passed out water to everyone. Once the Meet and Greet started all i can say is WOW. Cedric and Anthony were VERY FRIENDLY AND TOOK PICTURES WITH EVERYONE. I didn't feel rushed. Not only are the products Dutch (mostly), but they also have an extensive selection of Indonesian cooking products. Super authentic. The radio is tuned to a Dutch station for full ambiance. So many questions as to what that radio station was. I bought a coffee mug that had a "gezellig" joke on it. They had fun magnets with jokes about being Dutch on them. Disappointing After Giving This Store Multiple Chances…read more The store itself generally appears clean, and I will say that many of the employees I have encountered have been pleasant and helpful. Unfortunately, after giving this location multiple chances, there are too many ongoing issues for me to overlook. I have personally seen moldy bread, moldy vegetables, and even moldy cheese still available for purchase. I have also noticed fruit flies or gnats flying around the produce. Regardless of how clean the store may appear overall, seeing spoiled food and insects around fresh produce makes it very unappealing and difficult to feel comfortable purchasing those items. Customer service is also very inconsistent. While some employees are wonderful, I have encountered rude and unprofessional behavior from certain employees, including management. The pickup service has been another disappointment. I have received substitutions that were completely different from what I ordered, items have been missing, and there have been times when an employee brought my groceries out, loaded them into my trunk, slammed the trunk closed, and simply walked away without saying, "You're all set," "Thank you," or anything at all. A small amount of courtesy goes a long way. I understand that staffing may sometimes be an issue, but customers should still be able to expect fresh food, properly maintained produce areas, reasonable substitutions, and courteous service. I have continued shopping here and given this store plenty of opportunities because I hoped things would improve, but unfortunately, I'm reaching the point where I feel it may be time to take my business elsewhere. I really hope management takes these concerns seriously because this store could be so much better with more attention to food quality, cleanliness around the produce, and consistent customer service.

Northgate Markets, remind me of my visits to Mexico with all the amazing food, piñatas, and clay ceramics they import from Mexico. We stopped at Northgate Market the Paramount, CA location because we were in the area. We bought chicken, pork and sweet tamales they were EXCELLENT!! We also bought a champurrado drink and Atole de nuez "Mexican hot drink with pecans" both were 5/5 stars but my favorite drink was the Atole with pecans. It's a sweet creamy drink with chopped pecans. Their store in Paramount provided excellent customer service. If you've never been to these stores, check out your nearest Northgate Market.
