I enjoy shopping at Aldi for my weekly groceries from produce, to snacks, dairy and our weekly protein meats. Aldi's has great deals on good quality food. The store itself is very clean and organized, I have not struggled to find what I am looking for. I do recommend keeping a quarter in the car as you will need it in order to obtain a cart for your shopping, along with a reusable bag as they do not always have any available to purchase. The staff are overall friendly and helpful while needing help to check out or find products. I look forward to shallowing back at this Aldi location! read more

I like walking around this store, very convenient and always clean. I have learned that if you are looking for certain items then you should be here earlier in the day. That is because once they run out of an item they will not restock it until the following day. I enjoy buying salads, bread, cheeses, salami, and my most favorite trail mixes and dried mangoes! I plan to make a shopping trip here soon to search for the seasonal limited edition holiday items. Service can be hit or miss and this is because they are always short on staff. There is really no staff walking around to see if you need anything, they are usually all at the cashier areas. So you are on your own shopping in the store. Definitely my go to in this location. Further from my main location but I like to come here in the weekend mornings when I have to drop off my daughter for band practice down the street. I wait for the store to open, grab my stuff, browse, and checkout. Like I said, I personally like to come to this location, because they keep up with inventory. They're always stocked up. So the employees all hate their jobs here, lol. They are so rude, and unhelpful. I'm not sure if they feel they are not being paid enough to answer questions but anywho, this store is really great if you wan the cheap basic necessities. They don't have many name brand items but like I said, for basics the prices are cheap but good luck because there's always only 3 people working the entire store the entire time. They can't afford to staff more people so it is truly you get what you pay for when you come here. Me and my family came here all the time. We went shopping about 20-30 minutes before closing and checked out all our items, and my husband needed to use the restroom before we left. Mind you, he has a on-going medical condition. The workers here HATE their job--the other negative reviews weren't lying. They were rushing us to checkout, which I completely understand the store needed to be locked up but they were unbelievably rude and unnecessary, especially Sasha. SASHA refused to let my husband go to the restroom, claiming they were closed, which has never happened before. But before we even tried explaining our situation she was so rude and told us she wasn't going to argue with us, and told us to leave the store. Obviously, I argued back angrily because she just wanted to go home and my husband needed to use the restroom, and couldn't wait due to this condition. She kept talking a bunch of mess disregarding my family, no exaggeration, it was crazy. Dante, the manager said as long as the bathrooms were open they were open to use, and he claimed they were! and Sasha still rudely told us to "get out the store" before. Afterwards we tried talking to Dante about the situation, and he did let my husband go, but still made lots of excuses for his employees and solely focused on the fact that we were furious instead of actually doing something. I believe our cashier's name was Amber, who also told us they were closed. After we spoke to Dante she claims she never said that and also along with the rest of the sorry staff saying "they're not going to argue". Dante kept trying to diffuse the situation but didn't hear us out enough, simply saying he "needs to talk to them" as he witnessed this firsthand and letting his employees continue to treat us this was afterwards. If you want shitty young cashiers and employees that have zero care in the world for your needs, let alone a customer's conditions and prioritize their own, please come lol read more

This is my first time shopping in Aldi, very reasonable and modern. Perfect for small families and and single people. It's more convenient then a large grocery store because your not forced into making large purchases for items you don't need. The location is perfect because it's in the center of down town Bellflower and fairly close to my home. I look forward to this grocery market growing with out neighborhood, welcome! read more

This was my first visit to an Aldi's store. It was not very crowded so I was able to stroll the aisles. I was shocked about charging a quarter for a cart but grabbed a loose one. This store reminds me of Grocery Outlet a bit. The variety of items is limited, but they have just about everything you need for a standard run to the grocery store. They have their own generic version of products for a lot cheaper like cereal, soups and sauces. I will likely return. read more

I'd give it 3 Stars, as I'm more of a Grocery Outlet, Ralph's or Food 4 Less fan but my friend (who's never been to an Aldi) was more impressed. Price-wise some things were low but most weren't any less than a grocery store (as in Ralph's not a Gelson's). I did spot a few "gotta get this" items. A whole chicken ( I got the last one) was 89 cents a pound (Score)! and a 24-pack of bottled water was less than 2.50. Plum Tomatoes were 88 cents a lb. The aisles are wide & the layout is easy to maneuver through. Most of the basics are here & I can see the appeal if you don't need to see lots & lots of choices of the same thing or aren't into specific name brands. I think someone who just wants to get what they need & head out would like an Aldi. In turn, it may be fun to see if anything new popped up. There isn't an Aldi in my neighborhood but If there was I'd check in from time to time. Produce looked fresh but prices were usually the same as a main stream market. They have an ad so some items go on sale. Customer service was good & during Co-Vid they're making efforts to comply. There's the infamous 25 cents to get a cart. You get it back when you return it resulting in a big parking lot clear of renegade carts. read more

Aldi's staff was completely disgusting and horrible. The cashier, Vianey, humiliated this elderly couple for paying with coins. Then embarassed my mom by assuming she can't afford a plastic bag. My mom paid with her EBT and gets free bags normally. My mom simply asked why they charge sometimes and not others. This cashier proceeded to assume she could not afford the bags. "You obviously don't have the 17 cents" were her words. She proceeded to help the next customer and continue to laugh and talk about her with the next customer. Cashier Vianey was completely out of line, nor did the manager care when the situation was escalated. He claimed he would speak to her and thats it. This was horrible service and no solution or support was provided. read more

I'm new to Instacart and because of this I was able to visit Aldi for the first time. I was so turned around in this store not because it's unorganized but because it was new to me. I asked for help from one of the employees that was working, his name was Trey. When I tell you this man went above and beyond to help me out is and understatement. I was so lost and he pointed me in the right direction with a friendly smile each time I asked for assistance. Since then I've returned for a second time and the same thing. He's an amazing employee and makes your business look good. I plan on returning to the location as a customer because I love spending money where employees treat customers well read more

Great store with great items. They have literally everything. A lot of sad people complaining about a little line when it's nothing compared to other stores like Walmart. Love Aldi ! I'll admit I got snappy when I walked up to get a cart and realized you have to pay 25 cents to rent one . The only reason I was bothered was because I had my kids in the car and I just wanted to grab a cart fast and go back to them . But they were niCe to let me have the cart free because I had no change on me so now I know for next time . I thought the store was cute and the vegetables and fruit looked very fresh and overall good prices on food. Way cheaper than your local super market . I will agree they don't bag your stuff at all they just put them on the cart but come on wIth low prices like that I don't mind bagging my stuff . Will go back when is groceries time lol. read more

At first I had a difficult time with Aldi because the brands were not familiar. I read up about how they get a lot of their items from Germany where they started I started trying different things and I was hooked. I love this Aldi. Compared to other Aldi's nearby, this one has the most selection of products. You get unique as well as everyday food. It's an adventure to find special combos. No one has any excuse of going hungry because you can always heat something delicious up. The produce is fresh and plentiful, the staff is courteous and the store is clean. Parking is so convenient. My test for any store is how long the milk keeps. If the milk turns before the expiration date that means the store associate did not hold it at proper temperature at the store meaning it was sitting unrefrigerated for a while before being put away.
