My family is looking to do a re-roof or fix existing issue. Justin and Reece came by today as scheduled, were prompt, very detailed, and prepared to not only do a thorough inspection but educate me on the entire process and the entire steps of service involved. It wasn't just "Hey, you need a roof, here's how much it costs" approach. If you want that, then don't call these guys. If you're interested in receiving not only how much but the way, and all details included in that cost, call them and schedule an appointment. I have never had such a thorough meeting with roofers before... EVER! They came to inform, support, and were no pressure. The meeting left me with complete confidence in GAF products and SunTrust Remodeling's abilities to do a job that not only will look amazing and last, but has an incredible warranty. Thanks again guys. read more

Totally impressed! I am a person that is very analytical and thorough before jumping into ideas or purchases so in this case as usual I did my due-diligence and research in regards to analyzing ordinary paint against Text-Cote definitely is an extraordinary product and my research revealed and prove that Tex- Cote is the winner it is very thick and it is more a coating even though it is paint like but reflects heat substantially like nothing else that I have seen that's on the market today and it doesn't fade like ordinary paint which in return gives you longevity and even reduces a homes cooling cost hugely ! I have owned many homes over a life time including Arizona that gets ridiculously hot and caused peeling cracking and fading which caused me major headaches I love modern technology we have come a long ways since then I also found it can be applied to roofs and floors even making it much more slip resistant ! My homes have always been my major investments and don't skimp on taking care of them and doing the right thing for my investment if it cost a few bucks more for quality longevity and heat savings yes it's more than worth it is comparing a Mercedes to a Volkswagen it's the same scenario there is no comparison in the long run! The proof basically as they say the proof is in the pudding after the knowledgeable representative of SunTrust Deanna showed me at my home in person the several test and you really can visually see in the test she displayed the difference and they are day and night differences between Text-Cote paint and regular paint it is not even close call. So after the demonstration of the products superiority in her presentation I dug even deeper to verify that it is the real McCoy in products! I want to thank and say their representative once again Deanna was a stand out in representing your company she was so detailed oriented with me and nice an d friendly and that I want to personally thank her for showing me a product that changes the way that I do paint in the future. I thoroughly understand the Tex-cote Technology explicitly now! Please thank Deanna for me again for all her time and efforts! read more

I reached out through Yelp for a roofing estimate and had Nick come out for an inspection. He immediately stood out and found issues that two other roofers had completely missed. He was extremely informative, took the time to explain everything clearly, and gave me a great deal to get the job done. The entire experience with the company has been smooth and professional. Highly recommend! read more

My retaining wall came out beautiful! I was pleased that it's all work out since my permit was denied for expanding bigger driveway. I suggest if you need a permit for anything, just go to the city yourself first or have the contractor check it out first before getting the quote. Thank you Edward Romero for setting up with the quote and introducing me to zero interest credit card to pay off in installments. Thank you Erik for coming out to do the re-measurement. Finally, thank you for all the follow up on the calls Mark. Next time, I do suggest if you'll can go through the contract and know the the expectations from the customers. Other than that, I do recommend Suntrust Remodeling to my friends and family. read more

Let me tell you! We had such a great experience working with Sun Trust! From the sales reps Brandon and Abraham who were so patient and helpful to Brianna and August who were in constant communication with my husband and I on a daily basis reaching out to us to provide updates and ask us how we were feeling about the project as we went along. The crew on-site, Juan and his assistant were very approachable and were always willing to assist me with any questions or concerns I had while the work was being done. I am an anxious person so sometimes I ask questions for reassurance and they never made me feel bad about anything, they were so nice and professional. Julio was the on-site supervisor and he too was great to make sure anything we needed or asked was done to meet their company's high standard and our expectations. Lastly, August thank you so much for all your assistance, your consistent communication and support. We definitely recommend SunTrust! read more

Today we had an inspection done & new roof quote provided by Reece & Justin. We were not prepared for a new roof but knew the day was coming that it needed replacing. Both Justin & Reece were very polite, easy to talk too & made us feel comfortable with their explanations of our current roofs condition. When we sat down to review the quote, they were very knowledgeable in regards to product, pricing & installation questions. I'm sure we'll be coming back to sign before the end of the week as they made us feel very confident that their team will deliver! read more

A few days ago I had a really nice and professional young man come by the door to explain about this company "SunTrust Remodeling" from Irvine who does home remodeling, repair, and other things home improvement related. He asked what things we're interested in and what home improvement ideas on the outside he had recommended. Then after a few mins we were able to set us up on a future consultation a few days later to have a person come in the house to better explain things and give us a quote when the person does come by. I explained to them that currently we may not be in the budget for the things we have in mind because we just had our roof replaced as well as the rafters/facias etc. They were okay with that. They confirmed with a phone call the same day to let us know what day and time works best for us to have them come. Anyways when that somebody did come by that's when we met "Travis S." who was absolutely professional, kind, courteous, and someone who we knew was a person who cares about addressing all your concerns about what things you want and need within the budget. He walked around and took some pictures, measurements, and walked us throughout our house to show some areas that need attention and what they will do to address them. Once he was done we scheduled another appointment for the quote so my cousin would be present with his wife to sit together with "Travis S" in a couple days which I don't mind. When the day came it was late evening because that is what time we agreed when my cousin and his wife would be free after their walk, dinner, and work. Again we met with Travis, myself, my cousin, and my cousin's wife was too afraid and shy to meet Travis. Travis was so friendly and we appreciated him taking the time to discuss, talk about his company SunTrust, the material for the paint which is what we were first interested in doing. At the end of the day me and my cousin definitely like to say thank you to Travis S for explaining so patiently and willingly to answer all our questions. The quote he gave us was also positive and options were very reasonable. I would totally recommend SunTrust and Travis S who sat down with us in my next home painting project. Thanks again Travis S. read more

Horrible experience. I've been trying to get a straight answer from this company since May 6th. I've dealt with 3 different people, they were always late to show to my house and never followed through with giving me a quote for the right thing they've told me they would. They would continually say it's coming at the end of the day which wouldn't happened and then would need to follow up again. They are super unprofessional, one guy even told me it would be a waste of time to write a quote unless I gave him a verbal yes. Just a total joke of a company and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. read more

Justin Desmond who is the Construction Manager and Claudia Perez who is the Production Manager at SunTrust Remodeling seems very nice, friendly, helpful, knowable, honest, spends a lot of time with me, goes way beyond what was required to help me, and does everything they can to be as helpful as possible to me. They give me the solutions and overall results I need. Therefore, I give them my highest recommendations! During May 2025, SunTrust remodeling put rain gutters on my home. They have greatly improved the appearance of my home with their great colors. During 2024 they replaced all my windows on my home. During 2023, they replaced my roof on my home. I am very happy with the look and functionality of my home windows and roof. SunTrust Remodeling has given me long and extensive warranties on my home roof, windows, and rain gutters. Justin and Claudia are very good at doing things in a timely way, giving me the information I need and request, and explaining everything to me in detail. Justin made sure that some warranty work on my windows was done properly and in a timely way. Please free to contact me, Robert Ungar, at my cell telephone number 949-683-3334 if you want to discuss this further or anything else. I live at 21921 Calabaza, Mission Viejo, CA 92691 if you want to come by and see the work SunTrust Remodeling did for me. Thank you for letting me give this feedback. This is always appreciated by me for everyone's benefit. Thanks, and you take care. Robert Ungar read more

Amazing customer service from start to finish When working on our roof. I worked w/ Delano and he made sure that all of my concerns/worries were addressed in a timelessly fashion. If I could leave a -5, I would. The sales team agrees to many things but the workers have veto power over those items or they provide you with an amendment to complete the work midstream. Horrible way to conduct business. Do not work with these people.....RUN!!!!! read more

I called to get an appointment for an estimate on some roof repairs, and was pleasantly surprised to have one set for the next afternoon. Justin and Reese were on time, very personable and had us feeling at ease. They listened to our concerns, examined those area's and then walked us through their suggestions. They then presented the scope of work that needed to be done as well as the estimate and our options. I wanted to update my review now that I got to speak with the construction manager Eric. He came out so that we could talk about what went wrong during the process and came to apologize in person for what had happened. He also provided further insight as to what happened and why communication broke down so much during our job. Overall, it was a very good discussion and he even offered to do a service at charge for us down the line to show that they were sincerely sorry. My issue had never really been with the quality of the work, but with the communication before and during the job so it was nice to feel like I was heard and that there would be feedback given to the respective teams on what they could improve on next. While we're not ready to take on any more projects at this moment, I feel much better recommending them to other people. read more

I have been slowly renovating my house the last 2 years and was not looking forward to the exterior paint/stucco project i.e., pricey; messy etc. After this past rainy winter it was apparent how badly the stucco and paint needed to be redone, I've gotten a few estimates but really wasn't sold on any. I am grateful that SunTrust Remodeling knocked on my door! They were doing a project next door and I was able to have someone come out the next day. Justin came out , measured and presented a very fair estimate. He was really knowledgeable in general construction and honest with what repairs were necessary. I knew the project was going to be costly but also necessary, I am so glad I decided on SunTrust Remodeling. Justin is down to earth and professional, Kelly (project coordinator) made the project a breeze with clear and concise communication plus she is always fun to talk with. Eric (project manager) and the team did an amazing job. They were precise and kept my property clean. I am so pleased with SunTrust that I purchased a 12' slider door which will be installed within the next month! read more

Yesterday i had the pleasure of meeting with Abel and Justin from SunTrust Remodeling. Due to the recent Santa Ana winds and rainstorms my roof sprang a few leaks, so these two gentelmen went up onto my roof for a FREE inspection and photos of the condition of my roof, and with an explanation o1f the work required to solve my problems. The quality of SunTrust's Products are outstanding as with the integrity of these two fine representatives and thier presentations. Abel did a great job in assuring me that SunTrust was not "Fly by Night" contracting company, by showing me thier credentials and backing by the BBB, while Justin followed up with the product, workmanship, and financial details, and threw in some humor from time to time! These two gentlemen are the real deal they sincerely want your trust in SunTrust Remodeling and will be there to walk you through your project every step of the way. If I haven't said enough already about Abel and Justin, I was blown away by thier regard and genuine concern as to how to approach some hurdles I have encountered with my home repairs and maintenece. As a recent widow/sole homeowner its been rough navigating through all the scammers and injustices that are out there ie: Home warranties and insurances. SunTrust and thier representatives are a BREATH OF FRESH AIR!! Sincerely, Mrs. Polley La MIrada read more

They drive around knocking on doors offering free quotes. And I asked for a ball park minimum. Said he can't Inspectors came on the appointed date and still couldn't give me quote because I'm 50\50% owner and my brother needs to be present. And there's absolutely ZEROOOOOOOOO post about pricing or quotes. When they are schtick is offering free quotes. Seems extremely weird and fishy to not allow or probably get any review about actual pricing deleted. What a big show and dance hassle to get a free quote. Knock on my door and say we do free quote. Gave no quote. Manager called to set an appt. Can't ball park a quote. Can't eve say like 5k-20k?????????? Inspectors come and access and still don't quote me. read more
