I called Pacific roofing and spoke to Marc on Monday 8:30am for two major leak in my house. He has scheduled me at 11;00am same day. My roof is over 40 feet and hard to inspect. pacific reroofing systems installed a molded composite roof in 2019. Under the previous owner, they did a superb job. The rains and strong winds this past winter blew off about 6 tiles. I alled the new owner multiple times and in spite of a commitment to return the call, it never happened. On time, everyday, worked hard, even my electrician and neighbors commented "they are doing a great job" They did a wonderful job of clean up, no problems. They had to go into neighbors yard, (have 0 lot line) and were very respectful of the property. Marc was great, had estimate quickly, and was able to begin in about 3 weeks. The estimate was very fair. (They have done at least 4 homes in the neighborhood, recently.) He was here every morning, checking to see if I had any questions. Professional and reliable contractors are hard to come by.  We found Alan at Pacific Roofing to be one of the few contractors that we could rely upon.  Construction involves different personalities and there are individuals in the field that are difficult to deal with or frankly dishonest.  Our interactions with Alan were pleasant and his areas of responsibilities and his crew that he was directly responsible for were incredibly helpful.  Several members of our family are active or prior service (in the Army of Air Force).  We have high standards for character and ethics.  Alan is one of the few contractors that we would recommend.  He "walks the talk" and finishes the job as described.  Construction is currently booming and while it's great for the industry, we've found that it has allowed for less than reputable individuals and companies to thrive. Pacific Roofing repaired a hole that was cut into our roof to remove a beehive. I tried the roofing company's our beehive removal service recommended -- but just getting bids from them was ridiculous. I had previously contracted Pacific Roofing to repair roof tile damage after termite tenting and they were great. Marc and his crew bid and did our beehive hole repair in a timely manner at a competitive price. If you need roof work done call these guys, they're outstanding. read more

Beware that this company has been sold by Alan. Marc the new owner is not honoring any warranty of past work. Before Alan sold his wonderful roofing business our whole roof was done by Alan in sections over the past 20 years. The most recent back section was completed by Alan but continued to leak. Alan came back and replaced the area he thought was the problem. Due to no rain we didn't know the same problem existed until we called the company during the 2023 rains. It was at that time we learned Alan had sold his business. After discussing this warranty with Marc, the new owner, he wouldn't even look at it or support the warranty. Now we are stuck with paying someone else. I heard Alan was very disappointed that the warranty was not being upheld. Beware of past great reviews of Alan's business model compared to the current business run by Marc. I've heard about other neighbors having problems working with Marc. read more

We had water damage at the base of our indoor fireplace. The first roofing company we asked for an inspection said we needed a roof tune-up for $1,700. We wanted a second opinion and Alan from Pacific Roofing Systems arrived and did the inspection. He found a softball size hole in the stucco of the chimney near the roofline. He shared a picture of it and said stucco is not something they do. He gave us a referral. Alan was professionally dressed and articulate. It was great to deal with a person who was honest about the problem, honest about the solution, and honest that this was not something they work on. Although we are not customers, our experience with them is noteworthy. We recommend considering them for any roof issues. read more

Pacific Roofing Systems did a great job with our roof leak, and everyone (from the inspector who first went on our roof, to the owner and people who run the office) were pleasant and courteous to work with. They made sure to get our roof fixed before the next rains, and to do the job right. The only downside is that I have no idea how they priced their quote (it was just a number, with no breakdown of parts & labor), and given their labor rate, it was very high. Unfortunately by the time we got the quote our leak was still there and more rain was coming, so we had no time to get competing quotes and just had them do the work. I made four calls to roofers regarding cement tiles that came off during a particularly windy week. I figured no one would respond to such a small project, but two did call back. One said they didn't have an open schedule in the foreseeable future and only Alan made time to come out a couple of days later. It was a week or so afterwards that his project manager, Martin, came out with a crew and replaced the tiles. They were quick and professional. I was in a pinch and needed a roof inspection ASAP, I called him in a panic and he was able to provide a general quote over the phone and because he was so familiar with the area he knew the exact community.
