They were supposed to do a repair on the left side of the driver seat. Well if putting the as seen on tv patch goop is repairing I guess they did an awful job. We took it to an upholstery store and had some of the work re done. Bad experience with the sunset group number one. Both of our sons purchased a car thru Sunset in Sumner and they mentioned our names to the salesmen. I guess we were supposed to get a referral. Never happened. Then my son thought his car was stolen. We went to the sumner lot and asked if we could at least find the vin number for him. All the sales guy could do was laugh and say that my son could possibly call on star. Didn't even offer the phone number or even pass us off to the manager. I guess we didn't look like we were ready to buy a corvette that day. Bad experience number 2. Now last year we found a used but we thought not abused Cardinal 5th wheel in theBonney Lake rv lot. We were waiting for my husband contract to be renewed and it took a couple weeks longer than anticipated so we paid 2016 prices in 2017. Then the lot people let our to be purchased 5th wheel freeze. So it went to the service center in Buckley. These guys were a joke. Sunset charged us a set up fee. The should have never done that after all of the damage that was done due to their negligence. The rv shop literally took almost a month to fix the problems and it was winter. An off season. We paid a month rv payment to not use our 5th wheel because of their negligence. When we were set up to pick it up it still wasn't ready. The techs couldn't figure out how to fix the exterior lights they didn't fix the refrigerator water leak so when we tried to get water to run thru the dispenser it flooded the 5th wheel. We are now looking to buy a new truck. I can guarantee the one ford dealer That won't get our business is Sunset. Save your time and just drive by. It's obvious that this company is only interested in the initial sale and not building a customer for life

I had a trade in that I had been trying to sell on the auto trader for several weeks with no luck. I was pleased that the JDPower price for the RV I was purchasing was higher than the asking price and they gave me a fair price for my trade, especially after the tax advantage (only paying tax on the difference). There were a few issues with the motorhome I purchased that actually took a couple of months to resolve - but they did resolve everything and even a few extra things they really didn't have to cover (like a broken taillight and water pump). They had to replace the entire furnace but did it at their cost. I decided to purchase the extended warranty (which I virtually never buy), but maybe doing so is what improved the service over the standard most dealers provide. I was in negotiations with another nearby dealer (named after a city in Washington) and they were nowhere near fair pricing - not on the RV I would purchase or their offer on my trade. Johnson RV was fair and treated me like a valued customer.

Now, they are the dealer for the manufacturer. Both events took over 6 weeks, with no communication from them, I had to call to get status. You walk into the service area, you're ignored. I finally had enough and called the manufacturer. They gave me a list of certified and approved dealers and mobile service that I can use in the PNW. I just had a flat tow kit installed on my Jeep & coach with another local dealer from the list, it took a day and a half and they completed a warranty on top of that. They communicated status daily with a phone call. Will never use Poulsbo RV again. The sales experience with them wasn't much better. The reason I purchased the coach from a Dealer out of the area.

    Our experience with Poulsbo RV was the worst we've ever had -- from dealing with a dishonest…read moresaleswoman, Casey Hitsman, to unprofessional service staff like Tina Becker. The $2,500 pre-inspection is nothing more than a money grab for Poulsbo RV; they don't fix the issues they find and often cause more damage than the RV originally had. We went to pick up the RV twice from Poulsbo RV, and both times it wasn't detailed. It was left dirty -- seemingly to hide paint flaws on the exterior. It looked like someone had used a janitor's broom to smear the dirt around. When I pointed out a dirty spot inside, Casey Hitsman wiped it off with her spit-covered finger. Their service team lacks basic skills. The replacement doors were installed crooked -- you could get stuck in the bathroom. They damaged the step matting, dented a cabinet base, and left the bed lift strap cover broken. The left charge port was installed incorrectly, the rear storage paneling was loose, and the separating carpet was "repaired" by gluing on scraps. They didn't fix the leveling jacks and caused further damage when attempting to repair the leaking water tank. The kitchen faucet remained broken. The promised paint work was never completed -- we later learned they don't even have a paint shop. On top of Poulsbo's incompetence, the RV itself was poorly built by Thor Motor Coach. Cabinet drawer bottoms popped out the first time we cleaned, cabinet mirrors fell off due to lack of adhesive, and the refrigerator broke loose from its mount -- thankfully falling backward, not forward. While driving, screws in the upper bunk sheared off, and metal brackets swung loose, scraping the wallpaper. The TV cabinet even fell off the wall, damaging surrounding cabinetry. After every trip, we find loose screws or staples on the floor. Our brand-new 2024 RV spent 7 of its first 12 months in the shop. Poulsbo RV clearly does not value customers, quality, or accountability. We would never recommend them to anyone.

    I had a frustrating experience with Ernie's RV & Trailer Repair…read more I brought in my Class C RV because I wanted a proper inspection, specifically to have the brake pads checked. Another shop had already told me they couldn't lift the RV, which is exactly why I sought out a place that could handle a full inspection. When I scheduled the appointment, I clearly explained this situation and my expectations. The day after I dropped off the rig, I received a call saying the RV was ready and that nothing was wrong. I was charged about $280. When I arrived to pick it up, I asked for an inspection report or details on what was checked, and it became clear there was confusion. After asking directly what work had been done, I was told they had only performed an oil change. This was extremely frustrating because that was not what I brought the RV in for. I had been very clear that I needed a full inspection due to the previous shop not being able to lift it. They did offer for me to bring the RV back at another time, but when I asked about the cost for the inspection, I was quoted over $450 on top of the $280 I had already paid. This pricing was never discussed when I scheduled the appointment. Overall, my concerns are: -Lack of communication about pricing upfront. They need more transparency on their pricing and other reviews suggest the same -Not paying proper attention to the customer's request -Failing to perform the service that was requested There was no effort to offer a discount or solution to make up for the inconvenience. I wanted to give them a chance despite some pricing concerns posted on prior Yelp reviews, but unfortunately, my experience confirmed those issues. To be fair, the staff were friendly and professional. They are nice folks but, they need to work on some issues. In the future, I will be driving a few extra miles to get better and more competitive service.
