I want it to be clear that I am not reviewing the service at this dealership. The service department has been very friendly and helpful as possible. My review is for Forest River, the manufacturer that Poulsbo represents. When my wife and I purchased our new trailer 5 years ago we purchased a new 26' special edition travel trailer. We purchased a Forest River because the build quality and appearance seemed better than our previous trailer and most of the others we have seen. Since the purchase we have come to find that the folks building Forest River are just as inattentive and wreckless as the others. So far we have had a couple of serious issues, one of which caused our vacation to end prematurely. The first problem was when we lost all our power on a vacation trip because the builders rounded the main power feed over the top of a frame rail and then sandwiched it under the flooring. That eventually shorted everything out and the dealership fought to get that repaired under warranty. The latest was found when we took our trailer in for routine maintenance and to check on a fading problem with the special edition colored nose cap. While doing repairs and inspections they found an over tightened nut on an axle that had caused a wheel bearing to seize and burn up. As far as the complaint with the cap, the folks at Forest River said they had a substandard vendor and that they had to replace the caps but only during a short period. Ours was not covered even though the cap is fading. So Forest River has poor customer service and we will never recommend their products. Especially special editions that have a higher MSRP than most. Forest River is not to be trusted! read more

The finance department ensures you get scammed! The front of my travel trailer cracked after 2 months of owning it. I brought it in for repair and was told by Poulsbo RV that the warranty will not cover it BC it was a rock chip. I eventually took it to a REAL RV repair shop and was told that there's no way it's a rock chip and that it's a manufacturers defect. The shaping mold got air in it as they were gel coating which thinned out the area is so much that it eventually cracked. I emailed Forest River today awaiting their response! My claim will likely be denied BC Poulsbo RV lied about the damage or the tech wasn't properly trained and I'm out of the warranty period! The only good experience at this place was an older gentleman that spent an hour giving me instructions on how to maintain the travel trailer. read more

Very poor customer service. Had my coach in for warranty repair and recall at 2 different times.. First question I get is "did you buy the coach here?" Now, they are the dealer for the manufacturer. Both events took over 6 weeks, with no communication from them, I had to call to get status. You walk into the service area, you're ignored. I finally had enough and called the manufacturer. They gave me a list of certified and approved dealers and mobile service that I can use in the PNW. I just had a flat tow kit installed on my Jeep & coach with another local dealer from the list, it took a day and a half and they completed a warranty on top of that. They communicated status daily with a phone call. Will never use Poulsbo RV again. The sales experience with them wasn't much better. Our experience with Poulsbo RV was the worst we've ever had -- from dealing with a dishonest saleswoman, Casey Hitsman, to unprofessional service staff like Tina Becker. The $2,500 pre-inspection is nothing more than a money grab for Poulsbo RV; they don't fix the issues they find and often cause more damage than the RV originally had. We went to pick up the RV twice from Poulsbo RV, and both times it wasn't detailed. It was left dirty -- seemingly to hide paint flaws on the exterior. It looked like someone had used a janitor's broom to smear the dirt around. When I pointed out a dirty spot inside, Casey Hitsman wiped it off with her spit-covered finger. Their service team lacks basic skills. The replacement doors were installed crooked -- you could get stuck in the bathroom. They damaged the step matting, dented a cabinet base, and left the bed lift strap cover broken. The left charge port was installed incorrectly, the rear storage paneling was loose, and the separating carpet was "repaired" by gluing on scraps. They didn't fix the leveling jacks and caused further damage when attempting to repair the leaking water tank. The kitchen faucet remained broken. The promised paint work was never completed -- we later learned they don't even have a paint shop. On top of Poulsbo's incompetence, the RV itself was poorly built by Thor Motor Coach. Cabinet drawer bottoms popped out the first time we cleaned, cabinet mirrors fell off due to lack of adhesive, and the refrigerator broke loose from its mount -- thankfully falling backward, not forward. While driving, screws in the upper bunk sheared off, and metal brackets swung loose, scraping the wallpaper. The TV cabinet even fell off the wall, damaging surrounding cabinetry. After every trip, we find loose screws or staples on the floor. Our brand-new 2024 RV spent 7 of its first 12 months in the shop. Poulsbo RV clearly does not value customers, quality, or accountability. We would never recommend them to anyone. read more

Do not trust Poulsbo RV. We put down a $1,000 hold on an RV we were planning to pay cash for. Once we saw it in person, it was covered in cat scratch damage--far worse than they (Joe) originally disclosed. They told us they'd have someone assess whether the damage could be repaired. The next day, they admitted it was too far gone to fix, but said they would still honor the original deal we had made. We told them we'd take a day to think it over. Less than 24 hours later, we called back to move forward--and they had already sold the RV to someone else. No warning. No courtesy call. Just gone. Poulsbo RV my experience. 3 months ago I placed my 29 ft toy hauler on consignment with Poulsbo RV in Sumner, WA (the largest rv dealer with the most exposure) I thought they were the experts and knew what they were doing, so I signed up for 90 days. after a month my trailer finally appeared on their website. I was surprised to find it listed for 10k more than I had payed for it 3 years ago and it was also located in the wrong category on their website. I dropped in and brought this to their attention and was told they use a special book to determine the value? After 90 days I picked up my trailer to find the battery box cover removed, with my battery submerged in water and totally dead. After I got home after plugging it in, I discovered that both exterior and interior lights were left on! I will say that a very nice mechanic helped me on his own to get my trailer hooked up. I hope this was an isolated incident, but for me, I won't be doing business with them again. read more

I visited the Sumner store inquiring about purchasing a used diesel pusher. I offered what I was looking for, price, trade, and difference. The salesperson, Mike, went to his manager, there was only one that would work. It was at their Lynnwood store. They called and informed me I needed to wait as there was a "deal" working on the Meridean 34H. That was October 1. It is now 17 days later, and no progress. My experience 6 years ago was great. This time not so. All the communication I recieve is just we have a "deal working". I no longer have trust in Poulsbo RV. read more

We are on a 9 week trip from OK to Alaska and back and our AGM batteries were bad and needed replaced. We made an appt for the next day and within 7 hours, they had us repaired and back on the road. Long story short, not impressed! Horrible maintenance section, left my 5th wheel interior completely filthy. Dirt, mud, grass and so on all over the floor, didnt even try to clean up. Absolutely disgusting the level of customer service, do not buy trailers from here. I was in the process of buying a 2020 raptor 426. Found several issues which is it expected. Sales manager said they would be no issue to repair. Fast forward 3 days and I'm still asking for the breakdown of what they want 5k for and was told by the GM that they don't have to break it down and he does not want my business likely die to calling them out. Absolute terrible experience putting an RV on consignment here. They rushed me to get it in- my Dad had just passed and it was his rig. 2 months into a 3 month contract they called me saying I had to pick it up immediately. They hadn't touched it, and the battery went dead on the lot. A few months later my in-laws took the RV in to have it inspected as they were considering buying it and the staff talked very negatively about it and rolled their eyes and said "that's why we didn't want to keep it". I mean- my Dad had just passed. I told them I had 10k to put into it just tell me what I need to do. They never told me- I was left paying the monthly payment and they were completely unprofessional, broke the contract, and what a shame. Leading a sales team for my profession, I expect the process of purchasing something to be the beginning of the relationship. A purchase should make the buyer feel like they will be supported through the life of the product. That they aren't just a number, but a part of the team. Two of the things I might hate most in the world are lackluster salespeople and closing technique games. Unfortunately, Jimmy Renzo is the former and deployed the latter. We shouldn't feel like we are bothering you when asking questions or wanting to look at different options. My wife is not only my plunging partner but wants to feel confident in the product we are purchasing as well. "Maybe we should talk to your husband" is not the response I want to hear she was told when she want positive which used trailer we were there to see. I get it, the RV market has been hot the past year, but the sales manager (forget his name since I was heated and ready to tell them both to F off) literally saying that if we don't buy the trailer someone else will isn't exactly making someone feel part of the team. Wanting to charge me a $3k Pre Delivery Inspection fee in a used trailer is highway robbery. I sell half a million dollar trucks and don't even charge that. The good news is that we liked the used trailer we saw here, did some research, and found a brand new one at Apache for $8k less. If you are thinking about going here, don't waste your time and call KJ at Apache instead. Poulsbo RV is a gigantic ripoff and could not give two shits about you. read more

UPDATE: DONT BOTHER WITH THE EXTENDED WARRANTIES. OR DO BUSINESS HERE AT ALL FOR THAT MATTER. I'm sure there are those more experienced who could probably tell you this, but seeing as how we just got first hand experience with this issue, I figured I'd share. The extended warranties don't cover the number one damage you'd want to have coverage for in the PNW- rain. We are just barely outside of the manufacturer warranty for our 2020 R-pod, which has developed a leak and covered the interior of our trailer with mold over the winter. When I called and asked if this would be covered, they said, "ohhh, yeaaaahhhh... you're supposed to check the seals every 30 days, the warranty doesn't cover this." So, why the hell did your salesman tell me it was a "wall to wall, bumper to bumper" plan? I paid for the top level extended warranty, and now, just over a year in, you're telling me it won't cover a dime? And what am I supposed to do, get out there with a 20 foot ladder and climb on the roof every month to make sure the seals are holding? I don't even know how to do that. Which seals? All of them? What am I looking for? Am *I* a certified technician all of a sudden? Would it be acceptable if a year old car roof started leaking, and Ford or Chevy turned down the warranty because "ohhhh sorryyyyy, you didn't get out there with a vacuum and pressure test all the seals inside the main cab." It's ridiculous. And what's WORSE, is they don't even have availability to look at the damn thing for a month. Kinda wild, it's almost like they're making great money selling shoddy trailers to unexpecting suckers like myself. They'll say anything they can to get you to make a purchase, with all the extra bells and whistles to make you feel protected, then leave you high and dry when it hits the fan. Please. Take your money elsewhere. I don't hate many things, but I loathe dishonesty, deceit, and blatant lack of clarity when making a deal. And the only thing worse than that is a salesman who sells you a trash product, then makes no effort to make it right. Every single one of these people give even the worst used car salesman a bad name. God in heaven please don't let my kid ever grow up and work here. I'll have no choice but to disown him. These values (or lack thereof) have NO place in my family. I love our trailer but they sold it to us with no power chord. Upon going up to get it the parts manager accused my husband of already having one and then told him he could buy one for $149.00. It's available at Camping World for $46.00. We had trouble after setting up appointments for finance and walk through when they acted like they didn't know we were coming. Our neighbors had shared a bad experience up there and I wish I would have listened. We won't ever do business with their Kent location ever again. read more

People, let it be known, I can't speak for all the other branches but, the Poulsbo RV in Sumner, service department has the most terrible customer service I have every witness. We had some work done on our slide. The slide motor is under warrantee; however, just talking with them, they basically don't give a crap. Very rude, don't even know how to talk with customer, even after I just spent over $11,000 in repairs. I am writing this review to let it be know, at this point, even when me wife and I discussed purchasing a new RV, they lost me FOREVER. I will never buy anything from Poulsbo RV. They come across like they are the only RV deal in town. Please people, beware... terrible. I talked with two people down there and both times, just rude. When we walked into the sales floor, we were greeted by an arrogant rude salesman named Z*** who pointed at a table and told us to sit as he walked away. When he returned he had paperwork in his hand and would only take our personal information. We keep telling him we wanted to just look at the inventory of travel trailers below 33 feet. And that we would know what we wanted when we saw it. He wouldn't listen to us and told us he didn't want to waste his time. When my husband went to go pick up the RV several parts like the pin were stolen and they had used them on their other RVs and initially denied it and tried to tell him "lose the attitude or I wont give you the hitch pin" ummm so you want to send us off illegally without OUR parts that we own? Sounds like a legal liability waiting to happen to me. Also! We dropped off the RV cleaned and with empty tanks... these disgusting folks actually used our RV and returned it back to us with usage. My wife and I were in the market for a new to us Class A RV. We went to Poulsbo RV of Sumner. We worked with Kelly Miller and she was fantastic and patient with us and showed us many class A RVs. My wife really liked a used Tiffen Breeze stk#K5777A that was in great shape with low miles. We drove it and decided to make an offer. I checked JD Powers web site for the value of the coach and found the asking price to be $10000 over averge retail. This is not really out of line for the condition of the coach. My offer was for average retail and $20000 for my current RV in trade. This is JD Powers low retail -20% for my RV. The Sales Manager took over the deal from Kelly and maintained the high price on the Tiffen while lowballing me on my trade. He did say he did not want my trade and his offer reflected his feelings. There was a $19000 dollar gap between us. The sales manager did up his offer on my trade to $14000. This closed the gap to $16000. We decided to leave and think about it. I did ask what they could do if I took the trade out of the deal. They were willing to reduce the price by $3000. The next day Kelly contacted me about some other class A RV that I might be interested in. Her discriptions and links provided did not match so I searched their inventory and found that the price on the Tiffen Breeze stk #K5777A was reduced by $20000. At this time we had some other RVs to look at before restarting the Tiffen negotiations. We did buy one of the other RV's . We felt bad for Kelly because the sales manager cost her the sale. If they would have accepted my deal they would have made $4000 more then they are now asking. The Tiffen is still on there lot 3 weeks latter. It could have been sold. The sales manager needs to stay in his office and know that the unit is being reduced by $20000 the next day. read more

Got the our rv from them less then a year ago, we brought it in for an oil change and other issues that it had. It sat for 3 weeks no call no updates and they didn't start working on it till 4 days before pick up. After we made the call to see the status. They never fixed the propane valve leak, the 2 batteries that were already in the rv are going bad and they said not covered and they wouldn't give us new batteries even though they are less then a year old. Wouldn't fix the wiring behind one of the tires. AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP!! Literally just spent $800+ on a stupid oil change that we could of done ourselves!! Update- it was over 1k to get an oil change and valve. We get the rv home and the water pump doesn't work anymore. When we brought it to the shop it worked just fine soooo angry! read more

Buying experience with Ethan: great. He was friendly, knowledgeable and relatable. Buying process was a breeze. Service department and Tim: absolute nightmare and I feel taken advantage of, to say the least. After 11 months of TT ownership, there were several small issues and one large issue that I took the trailer in for warranty service. Keep in mind, we also paid for the extended warranty. Forest River said no to everything and blamed us for their poor choice of materials. Oh well, I can live with that. My main issue with the Service department at Sumner was that they charged us labor, to look at every single issue that I asked about. This was never explained to me or discussed that I would be charged to have my trailer looked at UNDER WARRANTY. Tim made it sound like the few small fixes that the service department did perform were just favors done for me; imagine my surprise when I found out I was billed $100 just for a stove inspection and laying down one bead of caulking on the interior. All told, I had a surprise bill of almost $300 that I was not expecting to pay, since I had already paid more up front for additional warranty protections. This is also after missing several planned winter camping trips because the trailer was here for almost 2 months. Stay as far away from this dealership as possible. ***BUYER BEWARE***If I could leave 0 stars, I would. I purchased a 40' motorhome from the Sumner location 2 years ago. They left me waiting in the showroom for an hour and didn't help me until I was headed to my car to leave. That should have been my first clue but I'm an optimist person and ignored it. They sold me so hard on the motorhome I purchased that I felt an immense amount of pressure to purchase it and did. Then they went on and on about how hard they had to work to get me financed ,even though I made a huge down payment and had great credit. On our maiden voyage in the motorhome, there was a small fire in the bedroom area, preventing us from closing the slide. W ended up having to rent a room for the night because we couldn't get ahold of the service department to figure out what to do. We only used the motorhome once after that and have regretted the purchase ever since. I finally took it in yesterday to see about consigning it and the service was even worse. The salesman, Paul Carroll, left we waiting to hear back for 3 days and then called me multiple time the same morning to schedule an appointment and was confused that we had already talked and set a meeting up. He then proceeded to hound me the whole day while I was trying to get the motorhome ready. I finally made it down to the lot and the first thing he told me was I needed to repair the trim around the door and I said that's not a problem. He then looked over more of the motorhome and told me they couldn't consign it because the couch was worn. I repeatedly tried to ask him how they could sell it to me in that condition but couldn't consign it in that condition. As soon as I started to talk, he would cut me off and say he was just doing his job. I pointed out that he wasn't even letting me speak and instead of talking to me, he just walked away. I took my motorhome to another lot and spoke with a very nice gentleman who helped me get sorted. I would caution anyone thinking about buying from here. Poulsbo RV Service Department, Auburn / Sumner location. Brad M***** and Tim J****** are shameful and underhanded. The whole experience with them was appalling. The dishonesty, the excuse after excuse, the alarmingly inferior quality of work performed, the months of multiple re-visits over repairs they either could not handle or just ignored. They installed an aftermarket awning light. (this is the smallest task the service team performed) The awning light installation started to the far left before the awning began and fell short in the middle of the awning, it looked ridiculous. All they had to do was center the light under the awning. Instead, they decided to ordered a new longer replacement LED light; this took two months because of course the first light came in wrong. No issues on our first trip; the light worked great. The second trip, under three months, the light stopped working. Tim was notified through e-mail with pictures and acknowledged the fact that the light was no longer working at that time. I am stunned with the response I received from Brad after dropping the trailer off at their Kent location : "The failure of the light is a product failure. I am going to have to respectfully decline participation of coverage on replacement of this light. Part of the light has stopped working. This is a product failure. What I can do for you is look up the original part number. Get you info on the manufacturer of the part and provide you with that info. You would then need to contact them to see if they offer a warranty replacement of the light. I am unable to cover replacement cost of labor and part. Let me know if you would like me to research and get you that info." I am not understanding how a product that was provided and installed, stopped working in less than three months, is being declined? Especially when you consider the amount of time and money that has and is being spent at these Poulsbo locations. (lesson finally learned) I am also curious if, " the part came in wrong" is in the Poulsbo Training Video? It seems to be a commonly used excuse within their various locations. POULSBO RV FIFE : I want to make that clear. The reviews I have read about Kent and Auburn have not been good and had I read them f irst we might have thought twice about buying here. However contrary to what some of theses reviews are saying we found our expierence with FIFE POULSBO RV to be far superior to giant rv where we bought our first rv 9 months ago. We bought a 2013 used Forest River Georgetown " as is " which is always scary when spending that kind of money, and finance pointed out that Wa. state has no cooling off period. So this made it even more scary. But my brother had purchased 2 rv,s from poulsbo and seemed to like them a lot and recommended them. With this in mind we made the purchase. Upon arriving at our destination we had problems with the jacks and the slides. We called them immediately and they tried very hard to walk us through what might be t h e problem,no luck. Then discovered a propane leak just a pinhole. They had us bring the coach back no questions asked and fixed everything. They have been nothing but nice and very good to deal with. this update you will find super funny. So, took the issue to another service place. The issue that Poulsbo had quoted us full replacement (found the paper trail on my own), the other place fixed with a part they had on had and my total bill was $130. No joke. What Poulsbro had said HAD to be a full replacement was a broken connection. The guy who fixed it stated they didn't even remove the cover because as soon as he did he found it was full of pine needles and surely hadn't been cleaned out ever... so yeah, awning fixed. I went a full year with no awning due to the cost from Poulsbro and they other place fixed it in 10 minutes. The awning has been working for the last month plus now. *Note this review is for the AUBURN location only. Kent location is better by far. read more

I just had an alarming experience at the Poulsbo RV show at the Silverdale Mall. I've been working with Shane for the last week, who has been a pleasure to work with. I went to the site today with my fiancé and dad to make sure the 5th Wheel we chose was still what we wanted, and we decided to go ahead and buy. Shane was not there, so he set us up to talk to Rick and then Mike. We first talked to Rick, who helped us fill out some preliminary paperwork before seeing the finance person, Mike. Rick seemed nice and eventually, we stepped across the way to get our financing details taken care of. Rick left is with Mike, who offered us the choice of 3 extended warranty packages after having me initial some disclosure paperwork. I decided to decline, and Mike pressed me gently to reconsider, but quickly let it pass. At this point, Mike brought out the itemized contract, which I always look at thoroughly. When I questioned a charge I didn't anticipate in excess of $1,000.00 and indicated I wasn't prepared to pay it, Mike became visibly uncomfortable and went to get Rick. Rick came back with Mike moments later, visibly angry, and proceeded to tell me he didn't know what my problem was and that they got the price down to what we wanted. I told him that I value honesty and attempted to explain to him that I had a right to know exactly what I was paying for. He interrupted me and started to raise his voice to me and my fiancé, then stormed out of the trailer, slamming the door behind him. He ten walked up to my Dad who was outside, telling him he didn't know what my problem was, voice raised. My Dad tried to speak to him about it and Rick walked away from him. Shane lost a sure sale today because of his coworker, Rick. I hope Poulsbo RV doesn't think it's okay for their staff to talk to their customers in that way. Poulsbo RV Sumner:: I have to give Tim and the service crew at the Sumner location top kudos! I have had my diesel pusher in there several times over the past year for everything from an oil change, fleetwood warranty work and an emergency water heater change out from a frozen line rupture that really saved our upcoming two month trip. I called begging for last minute help and Tim came through taking in the RV the next day, I emailed them the pics of the heater, and they had the parts when I showed up the next day, they changed out the heater and replaced the seal under the bedroom bump out in 24 hours! I no kidding picked up the motorhome the next day and we are on our way. How can you not write an outstanding review! Thanks Poulsbo RV of Sumner!! read more

we purchased a used rv from Poulsbo in March for around $65,000. (it's in excellent condition, no issues.). we've only driven 200 miles and we've corrected any issues. due to medical issues we need to sell it, we can nor use it. Suddenly, according to Poulsbo, it's only worth $39000 to them. I understand they want to resell it, probably for $65000 again, but I think a second $26000 profit for them is a little excessive. It's clean, equipped and ready to sell. No sign of understanding or sympathy, indeed I had to message and call three times before anyone would respond. I've bought RVs there before, I will not do it or recommend them again. I've listed it on RV Trader. read more

Went in today with my wife to get an idea of what size rig would fit our current needs. We pulled in and of course were greeted by a sales person as soon as we got out of the vehicle. To be expected , and I am sure a requirement as a part of their sales program, but before we were "allowed" to even see a rig we were asked to go back inside and provide all our contact information. I told the sales person I was not interested in doing that at that moment and that we wanted to get an idea of what we wanted first. He said that he had to check with his manager and would be right back. While he did that we went out and looked at a locked up rig, waited for the sales guy and he did not return...so we decided to leave. I am in sales and manage a team of sales professionals so I understand the process but come on...Get to know who you are working with first, build rapport, I am already in your system as a prior customer. Lastly, dress the part if you want to present yourself as a professional. We will take our business elsewhere unfortunately at this point. read more

ABSOLUTELY AWFUL EXPERIENCE!!! Please read before you even consider going to Poulsbo RV!! I will make this as succinct as possible, but it's a bit of a story. A friend of mine moved from the Portland area up to the Auburn, Washington area to go to work for poulsbo rv as a salesman. When I told him I was in the market for an rv, a diesel pusher, a travel trailer, I didn't know, he said come up and he would help me. The drive is 250 miles round trip. I assumed since my "friend" asked me to drive that distance, he would make it worth my while, take me under his wing, try to get me a better deal or perhaps forgo a portion of his commission...whatever! THAT WAS NOT TO BE THE CASE! When I arrived I started looking at the limited inventory. Right away my "friend" starts pushing the extended warranty. Two or three times he said, "I highly recommend the extended warranty", this before I had even decided if I wanted an rv or not! Each time I said, "I'm not interested in warranties". The first trip was fruitless and I drove home. A week or two later I drove back up to look at a couple of diesel pushers. I only saw one, but it was dilapidated. I finally settled on a 27ft travel trailer. It was late in the day and I was speaking to another friend on my cell phone since I was a little excited with my purchase. This is where the "hussle" really began. My friend kept telling me to get off the phone, "you can call him back", he says. WTF? What is so damned important that you are telling me to get off the phone? I ended the call and my "friend" ushers me into a small room and promptly closes the door behind me! Behind the desk is Adrian. So, now I see what's going on. My "friend" has participated in an ambush with the guy who makes a large portion of his salary by selling "extended warranties". He offers paint protection, glass protection, low-jack, breakdown protection...whatever! I had already told my "friend" I wasn't interested, but he tried to screw me anyway! Rather than be rude I allowed this guy to give his canned presentation, before I declined everything. He actually got indignant and said, "I would have selected the $2,500 plan", of course the most expensive!! And, who gives a damn which option "He" would have selected??? How much do you want to bet that my so-called "friend" would have gotten a portion of the commission for Adrian selling me an extended warranty??? I was livid with my so-called "friend". He had "played" me. I was a "mark" for the concerted efforts of this rv company to suck every bit of financial marrow from my bones. If it happened to me, believe me, they have done it to countless others and they will try the same thing with you! I left and drove back home to Portland. I had decided to stay with the purchase because it was a fairly good deal. I got a cashiers check for the full amount, nearly $30K and sent it to them. A few days later I was informed that my cashiers check had arrived. About a week later I called to see if they were done getting the trailer road-worthy. I was told that they had done NOTHING to prepare my trailer and that the finance manager had been trying to get ahold of me. Since they had my email address I assume they would use that, but they did not. I asked, "why, I paid for the trailer in-full! Why do I need to speak with anyone let alone a finance guy?" I was repeatedly told that I needed to speak with this person. By the way, I'm fairly sure this finance guy was Adrian who tried to hard-sell me the extended warranty B.S. I said, "I'm not speaking with anyone! I have paid for this travel trailer in-full! Now, I want my trailer prepped for the road!" They insisted I had to speak with the slippery finance guy. I said, "Give me my effing money back, NOW". About 2 weeks later I received my refund. I ended up finding an rv company only a few miles from my home called Curtis Trailers and I purchased a beautiful trailer there. I had driven 500 miles total to try to purchase from poulsbo rv because my friend said he would, "take care of me; make it worth my while". All I found out is that this person isn't a friend at all. Everyone there, all the middle-aged, pot-bellied salesmen at poulsbo rv that I was involved with tried to "sucker" me at every turn. And, you should know that all these jerk salesmen actually make fun of the amount of money sucker customers are willing to spend. I heard them! PLEASE, PLEASE, STAY AWAY FROM THIS OUTFIT! Most of the people here are failures at life who decided not to become educated or go to a trade school and just ended up there. I mean really, what kid says, "when I grow up, I want to be an rv salesman?" The old saying, "a fish rots from the head" means the owner, who I learned was vacationing in Hawaii, knows these underhanded methods are being used at all the locations of poulsbo rv. Believe me when I say, you can do better anywhere else. Hell, drive down to Curtis Trailers in Hillsboro, Oregon, if you want to be treated well. read more

I took my class A motorhome to Poulsbo RV in Sumner,WA to replace the windshield and also do some additional basic maintenance checkups. I am from Florida ,but decided to get all this stuff here in WA because it's important. I left the motorhome with them , until they called me to come and pick it up which was almost a month later. They charged me more than $ 5,000 for the windshield and the other stuff. I drove it away. Not even a couple of weeks after that, when I drove through a rain event I noticed water all over the dash, and realized that the newly installed windshield is leaking really bad. I called Tim Johnston the service writer at Poulsbo and he told me that I could bring it in and they will check it out. They found several leaks and admitted that it was leaking and said that they fixed it. Now, about a month after their second attempt to fix the windshield correctly, it's leaking again. He said it would be about a week before I could bring it in, and after I brought it in he says it will be another 6 days before they can look at it. I have no doubt in my mind that they are retaliating against me because I left a bad review for them on BBB. TIM's manager Brad is just as awful in his treatment of customers, he said that their policy is to only update customers once every 3 days, which is weird cause they never updated me while my motorhome was there for the initial month, the second time they said that they had written down the wrong phone nr for me and couldn't get a hold of me. Knowing that I am traveling and I'm out of state, they haven't tried to prioritize the process of fixing their faulty repairs which could do significant damage to my vehicle. This latest time when I took it in , Tim Johnston the service writer attempted again to write the incorrect phone nr for me while I was giving it to him , but thankfully I saw him and insisted he corrected it.Also, every time you call there and want to talk to your service advisor about your vehicle they tell you to leave voicemails cause they are really busy, yet when you walk in there , they are all sitting around chatting and having a great time. I have made the biggest mistake of my life taking my motorhome to Poulsbo RV in Sumner,WA. The least I can do is let other innocent Americans know about my experience and be warned about the worst customer service I have ever experienced. read more

Do NOT go here!! In 2016 we bought a brand new Cascade trailer with a $5,000.00 extended warranty that would cover "anything that happened" per the sleazy sales man. Within 6 months we had a leak!! When contacting Poulsbo for repairs we were told the leak was our fault due to lack of maintenance. Apparently they only warranty seals for 90 days!! And leaking was not covered in our warranty!? After a 4 month fight with Poulsbo/forest river they agreed to repair the leak. Here we are 4 years later and we decided it was time to sell our trailer because we are losing storage and just don't use it like we thought. We dropped off the trailer for consignment at the Auburn location. A couple days later we received a call from the service department stating there was major water damage and a very bad leak.. we had the trailer covered so we were unaware of any leaks. If this is the case, the service department did not repair the leak in the first place!! The repair would if costed a minimum $8,600.00!? While they only planned to give us $11,000.00 on consignment. So after spending $28,000.00 on a trailer 4 years ago, we would of walked away with $3,000.00 at most!! They also showed their negligence by leaving our trailer out in the elements for 3 weeks knowing there is a leak and in the end causing more damage. When my husband brought this up to the manager he was told "the damage was done and it is due to your lack of care." The manager and other staff here were extremely unprofessional and disrespectful to both my husband and I. I have never dealt with such a sleazy, scum of a business! They take your money and back none of their product. Everything is the customers fault! read more

Sadly, the promises this place makes are empty ones and meant to convince you to buy. The salesman used a somewhat slimy tactic to get us to pay an extra $10k, for which they would supposedly go through the entire coach and take care of anything that needed to be fixed. The sales pitch was that it could cost them well over that amount, depending on what they found, but it would be taken care of "no matter what". I took this to be a gamble on both sides because it was also possible it would cost well under $10k. When we were finally able to retrieve the coach (two weeks later than promised), we were loading up for the trip during a rain storm and the a/c vent over the bed was streaming water. Not good. They were kind enough to allow us to bring it back and park it inside their service bay and leave it there until the service department opened again two days later. As it turned out, they didn't even replace the shroud over the a/c unit even though it was very old and cracked and had missing pieces of plastic along the edge where it was supposed to seal to the roof. They begrudgingly ordered a new shroud, but it was the wrong one and didn't come close to fitting. I bought one from an rv repair (Summit RV Repair, highly recommend) and it actually FIT. While replacing the broken one we found a large wasp nest. Kinda makes you wonder how closely they actually looked at the old cover, eh? We finally headed out on our trip and soon discovered the water pump wasn't doing its job. After calling out a mobile RV technician, we determined there was a leak in the system which caused the water pump to run constantly. Once that was fixed, we were back on the road. The next thing we discovered was that the slide topper over the bedroom was completely worn out...moldy with holes in it. The topper over the living room was replaced, but the service department said the sales department nixed ordering one for the bedroom. So much for their sales pitch for the $10k and fixing everything. We also discovered the monitor panel wasn't working and several of the levels it's supposed to track were not changing despite filling of holding tanks and using LP. As a side note, when we took the coach in to have the a/c shroud re-installed somehow the salesman's switch quit working. It worked fine before we took the coach back. We figured out that the solenoid had been changed to the wrong type. How this happened remains a real mystery, but once we replaced the solenoid with the correct type, it worked fine again. In summary, do NOT fall for the $10k promise. They will tell you they have $16k into repairs and that's the excuse for not doing what they promised to do. $16k seems to be the go-to number. When we returned from our trip and complained about the bedroom slide topper and the monitor panel (among other things), Poulsbo RV did replace the topper and attempted to fix the monitor panel. The invoice showed it was free for "customer good will", but there was no good will left, believe me. read more

I'm actually not surprised they don't have very good reviews. I will never go with Poulsbo ever again. Twice in the last 5 years they want an extraordinary amount of money down and then won't finance us. However I've had no problem financing a new car a new truck and a travel trailer in those last several years. I understand you can't finance something for us for 160,000 but you're not even trying to work with us to finance something else lower, even when we're trying to put down 10k. Not very customer friendly and a little insulting. Thank you for wasting my time and credit score!! read more
