    Water damage
    Matt M.

My partner and I purchased a travel trailer from Billy at Discount RV under the pretense that everything worked as advertised (water heater, water tank, HVAC, radio / speakers) and that the trailer was safe to use. If you choose to buy from Discount RV DO NOT TAKE THEIR WORD FOR IT when they tell you that a trailer or RV has no problems. We should have done more due diligence in testing all of these things before we drove it off the lot, but we thought Billy was trustworthy, and we were wrong. The water heater was rusted out, the heater doesn't blow hot air plus it sounds like a chainsaw and we're scared it's going to explode, the "clean" water tank was corroded and 20% full of dirty water, the radio doesn't work, and there was water damage on all four corners plus the floor in the back bedroom. Not only that, but in response to my partner, Ashley Johnson's, Google review Billy reached out and asked us to take down our pictures. He claims everything worked when he sold it to us and that the trailer was safe, but that is not the truth. Billy has also threatened legal action against us for our honest reviews and photos but we don't care. We feel we have a moral obligation to leave our reviews so that other innocent RV / trailer buyers don't fall victim to his shady dealings.

    Picking it up!

Bought a Truck camper here 6 months ago. Everything works flawlessly- especially for a 94. I originally saw the camper on craigslist advertised as a 1 owner private seller. I was taken aback when a young man answered the phone who said it was actually at a dealer. They opened the place up after hours to let me look at it, answered my questions to the best of their abilities, and the young man let me take my time. The owner of the business was a bit more pushy-rightfully so considering he had to open up the place to let us check it out. I ended up passing on it as it was too big. I offered a lowball price and they declined. After leaving and checking out a few other campers, that one was always in the back of my mind considering it was pouring down rain and there was not any sign of moisture in it at all. I ended up shooting them a text to fix a couple little things and they got it done with pictures. Really made me feel special as in my mind if felt like they went above and beyond. They ended up giving me a fantastic deal on it, and I've already camped in it a ton of times. Since purchase, the battery went bad and the charging module went bad. total of about 400 bucks but really overall a great buy. Had some hiccups after the fact with getting the title/license plates, but they were handled professionally and efficiently for the most part. Only thing I'd warn people that come here, don't be afraid to open up every cupboard and check under the bed for moisture, as the last thing you want is to have something bad happen in the middle of nowhere. I personally saw some vehicles there that had mold and rotting, so be on the lookout.

02-26-26 Shout out to Bryan and Matt in parts/service…read more Appreciate the over the top help on our back up camera issues. The stock rear mounted back up cam got water in it on yr 3. Last spring/2025 we bought off the shelf a stock "cam only" replacement from the Portland store. It was supposed to pair up with our old monitor no prob, :( the counter fella was unaware the wireless-frequencies, cam-monitor, had changed from 2019-2025. Bryan at the Milton location got us into a new superior back up cam system. Matt in their service sector took the time to walk over and give us some helpful tips for install. May not seem worthy of a review but,, after this many years/experiences with Airstream,,, I'm gonna tell you that it's the little things that matter most sometimes. We had a lot of probs in past with long waits on service/repairs when the dealership was under a different ownership at the Auburn location. Because of that I had to learn to fix things myself,, which is usually about a 50/50 lol. Especially electrical. Customer service like that/ boosted confidence for future repairs or upgrades at the Milton location. PS Pic quality/features Brand-motion Cam system are "awesome". Also to note, the people at the sales desks are professional, non abrasive, respectful. From 28 years of a commission-only living myself I really appreciate that :) Thanks Again Jay and Victoria

Our family drove 3 hours yesterday to buy a trailer from your dealership. Looked at 4 total but…read moretold our sales man Jorge we wanted to purchase the cheaper option no matter what but let's run pricing on the more expensive "dream" trailer just to see what payments would come in at since this would be the first time financing a portion of our purchase. We did all the paperwork and they were working up pricing on the more expensive one first because of some sort of company policy they can't do two at a time. (I call BS, they were banking on that more expensive sale) Another family came in and looked at the cheaper trailer and we overheard them say they wanted it. My husband went to the finance office and told our salesman that we were purchasing that one no matter what. Next thing we know the other family had been advised to quickly put a down payment down so the were assured they got it over us. (Which we overheard by the way?!?) At this point Jorge and finance guy walked out to present the payment terms etc. I asked if they just sold that trailer to the other family and they both looked like deer in headlights at the confrontation. To say we were and still are pissed is an understatement. No one advised us that because the numbers weren't being ran on that particular trailer at that moment and a down payment wasn't put down we weren't able to purchase it if someone else walked in, even though we told our salesman that no matter what we were buying that one?! No one even gave us the opportunity to put our money down to ensure we could purchase it should something like this happen. Who wouldn't want to see the pricing difference per payment on a newer trailer versus one that they knew they could buy no matter what. I understand policies and understand most sales are first come first served but no one told us that even though we were actively doing a deal that anyone could come in and buy from under you without a down payment even though we had already started the process. Communication on policies was extremely lacking. We made it a point to reiterate to our salesman once we heard they were interested in the trailer that we wanted it, and he should have advised us to put a down payment down right there in case we did not buy the more expensive trailer, instead he blatantly disregarded it and was banking on the more expensive sale. Think of it like this. Family has been standing in line for whatever reason for two hours, they make it to the finish line and all of a sudden someone comes up and cuts and get the last of whatever they were waiting for leaving the family extremely upset and mad. It's not a matter of us showing up too late and missing out, it's a matter of the communication not being there when it mattered most.

We encountered many sleazy salesmen and felt like a number at many of the dealerships. Luckily, we found the model we wanted at Baydo's. We met with salesman, Casey Loreth who was honest and up-front and addressed all of our concerns. Unfortunately, we were unable to obtain financing for the model we wanted but Casey said he had a used model he wanted us to check out. It had all the amenities we were looking for and we went for it. Casey called me within 2 hours after leaving the dealership to let us know we had been approved. He let me know he was with another customer and would call me back with the details but wanted to let me know as soon as he heard. Between approval and delivery we exchanged texts and he always responded quickly. He never made us feel like we were a burden. He was helpful and went above and beyond repeatedly. When we went to pick up our trailer we met with finance manager Kim Smith. He was also very warm and made us feel at home. He made us laugh repeatedly. He said his job was to make this process fun since RVing is supposed to be enjoyable. He did not want it to be a painful process and he could tell he really enjoyed what he did. Baydo's has a customer for life and I will definitely refer my friends and family there.

But they never added the columns and beams for the slide outs. Both side outs. So we brought it in to have those installed. How it even got on the highway to that destination is beyond me. Then we started having problems with leaking. We brought it back in again and they informed us that the seams were not sealed properly and that's why. So they kept it for almost 2 months. They called us Monday and said it's ready come pick it up so my husband went and picked it up. He got it backed into the yard unhooked. We opened it up and I see all kinds of water on the floor. So I had him hook it right back up and bring it back. Three months they tell us your RV is now ready. So I went down there with my husband and decided I was gonna do a thorough inspection. What I found was rat poop. A ton of it. It was on my bed in our pantry on our couch our chairs. They had chewed the wood to the table to the bench. And the pose of work at the service department did they left a ton of their garbage in there as well. Well, that business closed down and I'm thinking a lot had to do with our trailer alone. But we would go in there and I would hear people complaining and screaming at the service department over issues. And here just recently in Fife Washington. I have to say camping world is the worst there. The customer service is terrible. Our dog has severe separation anxiety, and he broke through a couple of screens. So we went there to order them and they go through another company. Well, just today my husband went out there to pick them up and they wanted him to go through a whole bunch of stuff so that they could sell it from camping world give it a whole new number and it's absolutely ridiculous. My husband stood there for 20 minutes waiting and then during that time nothing but arguing between the service guy and the woman that was helping him. My suggestion is stay away. Don't do any business with them. They do Shawty work. And the customer service is really the worst that I've seen. I don't care where you buy RV from. Don't buy from there.
