Just had the most refreshing mani/pedi at Sunset Nail! From the soothing ambiance to the skilled technician, every moment was pure bliss. I have never felt better! If you're looking for a pampering session that will leave you feeling fabulous, Sunset Nail is the place to be!

I was debating on whether I should update this review because I've had more good experiences than bad...HOWEVER, I had such a bad experience this last time I went to Sunset Nails that I had to re-review. It was the kind of bad experience that you walk away scarred from and can't even process at the time. I went to get a gel manicure. Just gel. The manicurist brought out the dip powder. I should have said no, but I figured I'd try it. Fine. She proceeded to use the file and it hurt and I kept saying "ow". She even drew blood and tried to hide it. Check out my pictures and you'll see how bad it is. This is 4 days later and they are still painful. The paint job itself doesn't even look great. It's okay. Looks terrible with all of the scabbing. I am afraid to go anywhere to get a manicure again because it was THAT bad. I'm horrified that this is how a "professional" does their work. She didn't apologize, she just pretended like nothing happened.

I've gone twice now and have always had great experiences. They did my nails and my bridesmaids nails for my wedding recently and everyone had a pleasant experience and beautiful nails! Will definitely come back again and recommend to others!

This is a great new location in south Chandler. They are friendly and it is clean and modern. They got me in on a same day appointment with short notice for a gel pedicure. I got the volcano pedicure and all of the products that they used smelled amazing.

The lady who did my nails, Lily, did a wonderful job. She took her time and obviously cared that I was happy with the result vs. just rushing to get through it - which has been my experience at other salons. This salon is very clean and professional. I will definitely be back :)

Tuan did an excellent job on my fingernails! He's the owner and shows he really cares, Unlike most other places. He asks how you want your nails and strives to get it just the way you want! He's kind and courteous and is a perfectionist too! I am a former nail tech and I am pleasantly surprised with his attention to detail. So excited I found him!

Normally I don't like to leave long reviews but I can't say enough about how fantastic my nail experience was today. From the moment you walk in the door they make you feel very comfortable and welcome. I got both a pedicure and full set. I don't know much about nails and wanted to get acrylics since I will be going into the world again. During my pedicure and my full set they continually asked me if I liked the shape, if I like the color, and if I had any questions I was able to ask them freely. In the past I have felt like a burden or that I was bothering the tech but not here. This may be the best my nails have ever looked and I truly appreciate the time they spent talking with me to get them the way I liked I would highly recommend them to anyone and can't wait to return.

Had mani's and pedi's done, the covid procedure is awesome. Sanitized everything, they are taking your health concerns serious and I love it!..... Wish I could give no star. Came there with my daughter because we changed neighborhood. We both had tips . Hers were perfect day one. Mine were awful. The n6 technician had no skills whatsoever. She didn't choose the right sizes for my nails , and she didn't make nice almond shape . I saw them only later with my glasses on. So I returned and requested if they can fix them. Owner was really not happy. He scolded her a lot but tried to fix them. He left after re doing them so he couldn't see how lousy the technician was with gel after. She did stop them again further out of my cuticles but I complained and she went a bit closer. She said she couldn't bring them closer. I left and returned today. Owner was not happy . I asked for better service or refund. He declined refund and even if he didn't check all my nails , he just wanted to put 2 new tips only. I said some are crooked, harsh, they all need tlc and most of them are too small on the one side, even if they looked better yesterday when he fixed them. Result: Get out of my shop. Yes! Because I stood for my rights. I didn't go there either to yell or make a mess. But hell no, I'm not paying $80 plus tips for receiving bs service plus my gas to go there twice. The pics are not even showing how bad they are for real. So would I recommend this place?? No! Pics are always 1h after service.

First time here. Beautiful and clean salon. Prices are a little more than I usually pay but this was a treat from my daughter. I am very satisfied with the finished project but since I live in California don't know when I'll be back. If you're in the area I'd suggest checking them out

I had such a wonderful experience at Sunset. I just moved into the area and have tried a few shops but this one will definitely be my home salon. They do not overbook and make you feel shuttled. I had new set of nails and pedicure. The pedicure was amazing and they were fast with the nails. I've had several compliments. read more

NEVER again. The older woman filed my toenails using a DRILL even though I was only getting regular nail polish. I chose the second most expensive pedicure with a 15 minute massage total (as it says on the menu). When I mentioned that to her, she put a timer of 10 minutes (not 15 as on the menu), and massaged my feet and legs for only 10 minutes TOTAL (she did not massage me for 15 minutes at all). Then after the service, she told me I need to pay $10 more (total price $55 without tip) because of the 10 minute massage. Are you kidding me?! Completely turned me off. I will never come back again. Such a ripoff. Other nail salons have the massage included in the price (which was stated on their menu). Poor customer service! read more

Sunset Nails is a "Spa Day" must-have. I took my sister on a "spa day crawl" in the area and Sunset was one of our stops! I'm a fan of another nail place but I think Sunset takes the cake! They're so polite and have water, pop, coffee, or tea for you if you'd like. It's so minimal and clean. I'll be coming back again for my next pedicure! read more

We moved to the East valley 6 months ago and now that we are finally settled in, it was time to look for a stellar nail salon. Make no mistake, Sunset Nails was AMAZING! The conversation and laughs made us feel like we have been going here for years. I don't normally leave reviews but this was too GREAT to pass up on giving one! I hIghly recommend this business! This was my first time being here last Thursday, usually have a regular nail salon I go to but they were really busy and I was trying get in n out by a certain time so I gambled on this salon and I was so amazed the place inside is soo pretty and Vivian who did my nails and toes was so nice! :) I'm just so thankful I found them might be my new place we'll see! read more

We lived in Scottsdale but since we had to visit my doctors office in Chandler area we visited sunset nails and (my husband and I) both got pedicure to make our day off better after all the tensions we had for a week. They made us comfortable even though we made the appointment in very short time! He was very friendly, clean and professional also their spa was so cozy, clean and cute! So disappointed, I thought I had found a great nail place. Went to Brandon once who did an outstanding job recommending chrome powder dips. They were beautiful. When I called for another appointment he was no longer there. The person on the phone said they had someone who could do just as good but the tech they gave me had clearly never done power dip before. Owner seemed to be coaching her but of course I couldn't understand what they were saying. The finish was very uneven and she polished over debris, got the color on my skin. It looked like a 3rd grader did it. I will give it one more try, but make sure I don't get the same tech, and update. read more

I've gone here now several times and it just keeps getting better! The owners are amazing and the staff is incredible. Great service - and you feel welcomed every visit - not like you are on a conveyor belt on Fast Forward! They treat you so well, you are never rushed and they are focused on the customer (you) versus being focused on the next! Thank you for coming to Chandler! Best nail salon in the area! read more

I just found this place not far from my house and it's wonderful.iEverything is super clean, they follow health standards perfectly, and the inside is super modern cute. They were all so kind. I moved to phoenix about 5 months ago for school and have been so busy and couldn't get my nails done. I called them today to get me and my friend in and they were super nice and got us in!! This nail salon is amazing! Called on a Friday night a little before six o'clock just to see if anything was available for Saturday and they got me in that night! My girlfriend and I have been traveling so much that we haven't had the time to stop and relax so a pedicure and manicure sounded amazing. I am so grateful and appreciative they were able to accommodate us so quickly. When I walked in, they greeted me right away asking if I had called, which I said yes and they started the pedicure chairs right away. As the paraffin wax was on my feet, she started on my nails and did such a good job on both! I will definitely be back next time visiting AZ... 10/10 recommend! They will not disappoint. Also, don't bother wearing a mask, it's not necessary. It is the best nail salon ever. A cute young lady who looks like the Mom of someone here was walking around constantly making sure everything was clean and sanitized. There isn't an overpowering smell of nail products / cleaner which was so relieving to walk into. Sometimes nail salons have a smell to them that isn't appealing to be around for that long. My toes were a different story, though. They weren't painted properly, and when I politely asked the person working on them to fix it, they responded with "OMG," so I just left it alone. Being a guy, I never really thought a manicure was for me. But, after making a New Year's resolution to stop biting my nails-I realized quickly I needed to tame my fast-growing nails. Anna at Sunset made me feel comfortable with something new to me-and does a great job and is very polite. Everyone from the moment you walk in makes you feel at home and valued as a customer.
